The best restaurants in River Medway South East

Was as delicious as always, first visit under new management. Amazing service, very friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough.

I visited the Lemon Grove over the Jubilee weekend. I found the menu choices fantastic, the food extremely tasty and great value for money (including drinks options)! Great for all the family, for lunch or dinners, or a solo traveller looking for a relaxed meal or a quick coffee. Lovely atmosphere and a great find! Highly recommend a visit.

Just popped in for some bread... which is amazing. My only regret was not having time to stay for the coffee and croissant deal, maybe next time. Small tip: get here early the bread disappears quickly. Gem of place!

A very pleasant tea room on the upper floor of the Pentagon Centre. The staff are attentive and, unlike one of the coffee bars downstairs, they seem keen to oblige their customers. We had sandwiches and tea (with skimmed milk, which we specifically requested), and noticed some unusual items were included in the menu. Quality china crockery. The prices were standard for this kind of outlet. On a neighbouring table were a dozen 12 year-old boys enjoying a birthday party and they seemed to be having a great time.

I was craving for some jacket potato and this cafe was nearby at Wanstead High Street. Clean and spacious cafe with lots of regulars hanging out there. Amazing service where staffs were friendly and welcoming. Jacket potato was delicious and really had fantastic experience here. Would come back in near future for other dishes.

The whole experience was lovely, the salad wa given seperste to the food which allowed me to choose the salad I preferred. Lamb shish was a decent portion and cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, a large selection of sauces and flavours to cook the meats in. 5/5 am definitely going to order again

Incredible food and service. A very nostalgic pocket of home tucked away in Chatham. Although the space is slightly tight for large parties, it is great for a casual meal and smaller groups. The staff are very attentive & often check in to see if further assistance is required. I recommend!
