Super dining experience. Amazing menu, wonderful food and courteous service. I thoroughly recommend it. More expensive than your run of the mill pub, but well worth it.

Lovely outside space.. bring on the summer

Our favourite restaurant by far. The sizzling prawns and mussels are always our "go to", not to mention the amazing fish menu. The new owners, Madelaine and Jean-Renaud are very friendly and personable. The staff are excellent and the service and atmosphere is has makes you feel very welcome. The outside area in the front is amazing, as if you were in a European restaurant ( even in Winter with the heaters). Cant wait to try the newly renovated deck out the back in Summer time. Highly recommended

Had a throughly good evening at the Poacher Inn on one of their festive food evenings on offer for free. It was to sample their Christmas menu and it was really yummy! There was a tastefully decorated Xmas tree and a really funny ‘resident’ propping up the bar… Steve.
