This is such a hidden gem in plain view. We went here on a Saturday evening and enjoyed the most phenomenal meal. The king prawn balti was magnificent as was the chicken tikka masala. The service was simply excellent and I couldn’t (wouldn’t) fault a thing. Highly recommended.

The owners clearly don't want to be here and nor do most of the passing public. There is more life in a morgue during peak hours since the chip portion sizes are so dire. Present management will be gone soon and do us all a favour, thank goodness.

Chicken pasanda and keema nan and the mogul special fried rice were all delicious. The restaurant and decor felt quite old and dated but it makes up for the attentive friendly service and the delicious food. They offer a 4 course a la carte menu for £15 per person on Sundays and Thursdays. I will definitely go back.

A lovely location but sadly the service and food were both poor. Not much of a welcome and our various meals had mixed reviews. The pies were quite nice but the whole meal was cool - the gravy with the pies was one glutinous blob and most unpleasant but I didn't mention this at the time as the rest of the meal would have been even cooler by the time they had done more. I did mention it t the end. The chicken was dry but the chips lovely and the lasagne was lovely. I feel with a bit more care it would have been a lovely meal. Uncharacteristically I didn't leave a tip. That doesnt happen often.
