The best restaurants in Waddesdon Aylesbury Vale South East

Lovely coffee and cakes. Really lovely young staff there too (although I think one was actually the mum!) who were very helpful with recommendations. Would stop in here again if nearby...

Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful hotel, only wish it was longer

Delicious, freshly cooked food. A good range of vegan and fish options, with delicious dessert. While my request for a macchiato was met with surprise, it was as excellently executed as the rest of the meal.

Pulled in to the layby for Kaci's Cafe yesterday for a coffee en route to Oxfordshire. Nice set up next to a grass area set out with a few picnic tables. Plenty of parking & doing a roaring trade with workers stoking up on standard English Fare of massive baguettes stuffed with bacon etc. Very competetive prices. We had to wait a while as the lady serving was on her own but our coffee was piping hot & only cost £1 each. Very clean & 5 star rated for hygiene. Only disappointment was that the public toilets adjacent were boarded up.

Lovely setting, but poor food. The burger buns were past their best, very dry. The chips were huge chunky ones (that way you don't have to serve many). Our food was luke warm as was the coffee. All in all not a good experience for the cost.

Came in back entrance so saw no signs about needing to register parking, staff also said nothing . Later sent a letter informing me I had a £100 fine for parking in their car park. Phoned pub, who said to appeal and would pay ‘admin fee’ only. Appealed it, sent a very formal letter informing me id still need to pay £20 else a debt recovery agent would get involved and given for the appeal I had to give my address not particularly friendly warning. However now given this situation thought I better leave an honest review, to help others wondering whether to visit. The pub is not dog friendly - mine had to stay in car, first pub experienced that in years! Food nothing to write home about, extortionately priced for what you get. Somewhere I’ll remember not to return to.
