The best restaurants in Poulton South Warrington North West

I love this place, everyone is so friendly and the food is amazing. They always welcome you with a smile and a chat. They cater for vegetarians too.

We had such a lovely time as a family, we were looked after by mia and olivia was lovely Sunday dinner the trio dinner we had was lovely and the pork was delicious 🥰

Great food, but becoming Expensive now. Staff are great.

First time ordering at Plaice Station so got a Munchie Box to try a little bit of everything. Everything tasted amazing, light and crispy, the pea fritter was gorgeous, chips thick and perfectly cooked as well. The sauces are next level, homemade curry and tartar are absolutely delicious, just the perfect level of spice, full of flavour and thick. Service was great as well, the communication within the team made everything run smooth and fast, which is great considering all the food is made fresh to order. The team were all in great mood and very polite. Overall, this place ticks all the boxes!

Came for a couple of drinks with my family on the 10/5/2025 and all I can say is what a disappointment the bar staff are clueless and have no idea how to use the till! They charged us over rated prices and once I asked to put my friends and family on all I got back I don’t know how to do it! They charged me £13.50 for a pino blush! We usually love coming here and had great experiences in the past but for some reason the new bar staff have no idea!

Absolutely belting. They've got a new guy working in the kitchen who is a trained chef! I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was without a doubt the best burger I've ever had. They also offer some really obscure takes on cheesy chips which I can't wait to try. I felt this "plaice" went a little downhill in recent years but they're back with a vengeance.
