The best restaurants in Denton North East Tameside North West

Came in for a family meal and sadly left very unhappy. It started with being given the wrong starter. When I pointed this out, the staff blamed it on a new menu and said the kitchen team wasn’t familiar with it yet. They assured me the correct starter would be sent out, but after a long wait—and after my family had already finished their starters—it still hadn’t arrived. Then the manager brought out our mains, placing them on the table abruptly without even clearing the starter plates. The whole experience felt rushed and unprofessional. I reminded him I still hadn’t received my starter and asked for it to be removed from the bill since it was clearly too late. He said it was still coming, but at that point, it was pointless. To make matters worse, the mains were disappointing—cold chips and undercooked chicken skewers. When we received the bill, I was shocked to see I’d been charged for both the incorrect starter and the one that never even arrived. The overall atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the staff were dismissive and rude. This was meant to be a pleasant family outing, but it turned out to be a frustrating and disappointing experience. I definitely won’t be returning.

We visit this lovely, welcoming cafe/restaurant quite often. The food is Always gorgeous, excellent service. You can almost order what ever you want - that's amazing. We look forward to our Beautiful Roast Dinner. Thank you.

Overpriced and rude staff, terrible atmosphere. Really trying to be a big city experience but the only thing that resembles a big city experience are the big city prices.

My favorite Hong Kong-style restaurant, unfortunately they will close on the 22nd of this month. You can take time to say goodbye to them.

Went here for the very first time with my family and I really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is very clean and spacious plus the decor was done out very well. I met the owner Aky and he was a very pleasant man. I had a mixed starter which I really enjoyed followed by a lamb madras which you can see in the pictures. The reason I went in this restaurant was because my daughter moved to the area about 12 months ago so that how I was told about it and without that I wouldn’t have known about this place. It’s not the cheapest of Indian restaurants so I would go again but only for a special occasion. I hopefully would like to go again but when not sure. They also do a loyalty card where you can get a free starter or main meal so not bad. If you want to know anything about this review please contact me

This is a great place for authentic home cooked food. We were a party of 14, for a youth football teams end-of-season meal. All food was cooked fresh to order, but was worth the wait, and also meant that we didn’t feel rushed in and out the door like most places do these days. The owner and his team made us all feel welcomed. It was perfect and matched exactly what we wanted. I can’t wait to go again.

Our first time visiting the food was Fabulous the steaks were cooked perfect for everyone to their requirements , the cod linguine was delicious which I had and the espresso Martini one of the best I have had. The staff were so friendly and welcoming will definitely be returning.

Great tiny polish restaurant. Starter pierogi -mix selection absolutely wonderful. Never tried one with fish... Original pea soup really tasty and only bit of bacon could make it better but still amazing. De volaille truly wonderful crispy from outside juicy buttery from inside... Beef Goulash on the crispy pancake again brilliant. Beef slow cooked melting in mouth, pankace crispy... Really nice place for a date that we just had. Thank you

5 stars – Excellent Service and Great Gluten-Free Options! I ordered a gluten-free pizza with a side from Domino’s, and I’m really impressed. The lady I spoke to on the phone was incredibly helpful and made sure my dietary needs were understood and taken care of. The delivery was quick, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The gluten-free base was delicious, and it’s great to have tasty options without worrying about allergens. Will definitely order again!

first time ordering I will not be ordering again food over an hour late one item freezing cold the other red hot, lied to by the person on the phone saying food had left, rang again about 15 mins later to be told it had just left again

We visited here a number of times and really enjoyed it. It was good to sit out in the sun at the back of the premises. Unfortunately has now been taken over by a pizza takeaway at the back so nowhere to sit. We wouldnt bother going back now.

I am disgusted by this whole order, we ordered all sauce and salad except from one separate, the sauce was drenched all over the food, the sauce was that hot was inedible, my father had to take all chicken off and wipe it down with paper towels, but still covered in sauce, had to be thrown away, me and my mum shared one, it had 4 pieces of chicken Tikka on it, which was already cut up from proberly two pieces of chicken Tikka. The salad and sauce was also drenched on it. The food was thrown away. All the food was cold. The only edible thing was the popadoms. My brother onion barje was sloppy and cold. I paid extra for sauce and salads separate for the above reason. The salad was just lettuce in a plastic bag. No cucumber, tomato, onion or coleslaw which you would expect from a salad. I ordered a additional one for the next night for myself again had to be thrown. I tried to take the lettuce and sauce of it but could not. The nann bread was already mushy. I paid extra for the salad and sauce separate. I rang shah of Denton and I wasnt very attentive. I am disgraced and very upset. £40 wasted. Do not eat from here!
