The best restaurants in Haydock St. Helens North West

I've recently moved to the area within the lastb12 months and I've tried almost every indian takeaway and this place is the beat by a country mile. The base sauce they use is awesome, they don't use too much oil and every dish I've tried has been perfect. My personal favourite is lamb madras extra garlic extra potatoes. I've also had the north Indian garlic chicken which is also fantastic. The jalfrezi is also perfect. The staff are friendly and the food is authentic. Best place I've found for not only quality but great value too. 5 star rating. From a humble curry lover

This is a comfortable hotel. The staff are always extremely welcoming helpful and pleasant, this visit was no exception.

Shocking behaviour! Went for afternoon tea which was ok. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco. Didn’t bother offering us a menu to choose from. Asked for the bill. The robbing gits charged us £42! Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do not deserve any custom! Would never ever go back. Crap service too!

I enjoyed the pizza but that's because I waited so long I was starving and just about to order from somewhere else when it came, if I hadn't ordered it I could not tell you what the toppings were fries were soggy. and the garlic bread was. In the bin after two pieces,far from perfect ...

Fantastic service and food. Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face, I’ve never had a bad meal from here and I’ve been using this place for at least 12 months. I wouldn’t use anywhere else now.

This shop closes at 5pm but the staff refused to warm bacon rolls at 4.30pm as they had turned the grill off. They were obviously ready to close early. Not even apologetic. Terrible service.

Ordered yesterday from here. Worst chinese meal ever. Chicken fried rice contained ready cooked rice, probably bought from tesco, hardly any chicken in it, about 4 peas in the whole tub, and no taste or colour to it. Salt and pepper ribs looked more like just a few tiny scraps resting on loads of onions. And frozen chips ? What proper Chinese serves frozen chips. Woks cracking, go to jade Garden and see what proper Chinese food should look like. It was family's idea to order from here, I won't be making that mistake again.
