The best restaurants in Manchester North West

My Daughter and Son-in-Law booked SDS as the venue for their wedding reception. They are long standing patrons of Salt Dogs and as the wedding was fairly informal, the decision was a no-brainer. The staff were warm and welcoming for all of the guests. In fact they all went above and beyond to ensure that we all had the best celebration. The food was fantastic. We had a beef chilli and vegetarian chilli, with rice and tortilla chips. Wedges, flatbreads and hummus and so much more. Including their signature hot dogs. Everyone had a wonderful time. Huge thanks to Adam and all the team for giving my daughter and her new husband a great start to their life together.

To give my experience a 1 star is generous. Sadly the team working this evening were extremely rude, quote “leave this area now we’re closed”. This was declared minutes after my husband had just purchased drinks to the value of £20 with no prior warning that they would be closing. Considering our flight had just been delayed by 2 hours it is a shame they didn’t know how to read the room. There must have been at least 20 people who had also just purchased drinks too.

No había nadie más en el lugar, pero todavía tomó 10 minutos para las bebidas y 20 minutos para la comida. Los huevos fueron escalfados no revueltos. La tostada estaba rancia y fría como la piedra. No hay mantequilla ni nada en los huevos. Comida absolutamente vil. Nunca volvería otra vez. Personal grosero también.

El bacalao era una losa plana; hubiera esperado algo de hinchazón en la masa. Quizás precocido. . . . Las patatas fritas habían sido (al menos) fritas dos veces. . . .

Disgusting 🤮 such a dirty place ripped sofas sticky tables. The floors were filthy, Dry kebabs absolutely filthy and a waste of money. Whole place is stuck in the 90s never been updated Customer service is zero. Handed over a straw touching the tip of it. Naan was burnt and crispy. The salad was soggy. And the toilets had brown stains smeared on the handle and on the door 🤢 absolutely never again there’s better places around the corner.

Fod and drink is lovely and staff are nice but the place comes over as a bit drab and grubby Im afraid

Order placed through Uber eats. Staff very responsive and friendly. The food arrived on time and was piping hot. Copious amounts and very tasty. A meal that will last me at least 2 days ! Would recommend !

La comida era genial, grandes bebidas frías, lugar limpio y muy amable y acogedor propietario y trabajadores. Sin duda volvería. también el precio para lo que pedimos era fantástico

Esto ha sido renombrado de la llama tandoori. He estado aquí varias veces a lo largo de los años y la comida siempre ha sido excelente y tiene un precio razonable: algunos platos interesantes como haggis pakoras ofrecen una gama diferente de platos para la mayoría de las casas de curry. El principal problema es saber cuándo está abierto: piense principalmente los jueves, viernes y sábados, pero es mejor verificar. 881 8969 Buena música de fondo también. Muy recomendable

Ordered vegan 🌱 Foundation fry up. Scrambled tofu has much too much turmeric in it, so it make taste very bitter. Homemade beans as they marked in menu not edible. Cans of beans throw in tomato passata and onion. No spices or anything. Sweet potato hash isn’t hash, just cubed and fried pieces of it. Mushrooms not bad, but nothing special. Must admit vegan sausages were ok. Vegan latte was delicious. Food came not hot, just warm. Tables and seats looking dirty. 13£ for something not very nice make this place not worth it to visit again. What a shame : (

Went to a 90s night at the arena and got knocked back for wearing adidas Judge the person not the outfit Rude and abusive door team. We are in the industry and educate our team better

£7 for 4 small strips of crispy beef on a steamed bun. Tasted average and very small portions for the price. Lady was very friendly though. I don't think I'd return unless price reduced or portions got bigger.

Vile bland food no flavour £1 for a tiny pot of sweet chilli sauce to give to food a bit of flavour chicken not cooked less than an hour after eating both me and my sister have been sick avoid avoid avoid !!!!
