Visited their coffee shop Wednesday and today. Situated in the village by sainsbury and separate from the deli. Excellent coffee and cakes. Very friendly owner and staff. All.original coffee and cakes. They do fresh soup and ciabattas . Pleasant atmosphere . No booking required. . Highly recommended.

We visited on a August Bank hol Monday, early evening. That day, they only had an open buffet on. It does have a regular menu but I think it may just be open buffet for the period of Ramadan? I was chatting to the owner and he explained it was quiet during the day until most regulars turn up late. But when the restaurant is running before and after Ramadan, I'm not sure how busy it gets or what the regular menu is like! However, for our £8.99 set price each we had a fantastic meal. A drink is included (soft drink only, not sure if they allow BYO). There was a top lentil soup, then the chef explained the rest. Too much to list, but just classic, homemade middle eastern food. Tzatziki, hummus, salads, beans, and then for main there was an okra stew (fab), a plain but tasty rice, rice with beef and herbs, and chicken with rice. We made lots of visits back up to the buffet for more. One thing we'd have loved was bread, but we couldn't see any. However I think a party of four who came in later asked and got some naan type. For desert there was a typical tasty but calorific baklava type - ace. It's a bit ad hoc in there and it's a real local feel, help yourself, cling film on the plates of food - I can imagine some people more used to being nannied in Nando's would feel uncomfortable. But the place is great and I hope it gets local support (the decor and music are actually very classy by the way, it's not scruffy). Highly recommended, and would be good to know what the lunch time/a la carte experience is like.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping down Smithdown Road when we decided to drop into Dirty Nellies Pub ,a really popular pub down this party street. We track and traced, sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table, I knew walking in I would enjoy my visit here, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport, great decor and furnishings throughout including vintage beer enamels adorning the walls, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub,its just a really good pub. A very pleasant member of the bar team took our order of a beer each, we chose Sharps Brewery " Atlantic pale ale " and these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our pale ale's. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale with a big hit of hops, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a classic British pale ale indeed, the bar staff in here certainly know how to keep and serve a good real ale. We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Dirty Nellies Pub we had a great time. Dirty Nellies Pub is easy to locate along Smithdown Road, a road and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday,11am till 11pm. A wonderful pub, most definitely a pub I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Great food (especially the desserts) and very friendly, attentive service. Visited on a Friday night. A little loud initially when there were 2 groups (the restaurant could do with a few soundproofing wall panels), but once they left the atmosphere was lovely. Would elevate the experience further if the staff could recommend wine pairings with food / have a bit more knowledge about the wine list. The wine list itself is very good (just had to google to find more information). Will be back to try the breakfast. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.

The best pizza we've had in this country. A lovely atmosphere to eat in with a polite team who're extremely helpful. We'd highly recommend Little Furnace to anyone looking for a quality pizza in Liverpool.

Very disrespectful people's. I came there to collect the order as I'm delivery, they make me wait for more then 30 minutes then ask me to cancell, when I was calling to the delivery company he come out with various orders to delivery. He make me wait for 30 minutes, tell me to cancel so the order come to him paying more. It's an shame! This happen other time aswell after 11pm. I'm as you guys, far from my family, dealing with home sick for 6 years. This is not respectful at all. We're at the same war, don't try take advantage from the working people's. Today you're on the top, but one day you'll remember and regret it. Have compassion with others my brother!

The best burger shops in Liverpool. We are regulars of O'hannes on Smithdown road and the one in town and they never disappoint! Always fresh and tasty and amazing portion sizes. The staff are always so friendly. Our latest visit was to Smithdown road, we usually take it home, but this time we ate in the restaurant and everything was hot and fresh. Very clean and amazing customer service. We went with our 3 kids and my boys ordered the kids menu, and it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
