very interesting place as it was actually a handyman's store in a previous life it is now a micro brewery we tried the on tap cider which was very refreshing as well as the craft cider on draught

I last visited when this really was a DIY supermarket! They have kept the feel of the old shop while furnishing it with contemporary tables and chairs. The original shopfront window opens to let in the evening sun, giving a pavement cafe vibe. Service at the bar was good and their own nano-brewery bitter was enjoyable.

Excellent brew pub with good range of guest ales and ciders too. No frills or gimmicks, just good beers and company. Some good local bands /artists too out the back

Been here a couple of times now when heading for a meal along smithdown with my partner. It’s a bit quirky and has a nice atmosphere with friendly bar staff

A gem of a place in South Liverpool. A micro brewery with friendly staff, a great atmosphere and a chilled out rustic feel. They have a room at the back with a big screen for sports etc and the front is a great place to try a great selection of beers as well as other drinks. A really good mix of ages have discovered this place and if it's not on your radar, it should be.

Pub and bar hopping down Smithdown Road my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Handyman ,a wonderful brewpub that was just a joy to go to. An interesting building houses this nanobrewery ,formerly a livery then Sefton Picturedrome and a handyman shop for 50 tears, its an historic building down Smithdown Road. The place itself is very cool ,a cool looking serving bar, eclectic decor and furnishings, exposed bricks, lots of seating options spread throughout this nanobrewery both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Smithdown Road, its a great place to visit. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table near the open windows were we ordered Handyman ipa ,served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular nanobrewery. My ipa was really good, a crisp, well balanced ipa bursting with taste, a big hit of hops, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma, on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew. We really enjoyed our ipa's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Handyman we had a wonderful time. Handyman is easy to locate along Smithdown Road, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 3pm till 11.30pm. Friday to Sunday, Midday till 11 30pm. A wonderful drinking establishment, most definitely well worth seeking out if you're walking down Smithdown Road.

The Handyman on Smithdown road is a fantastic micro-brewery and pub that offers excellent ales and hosts live events. Housed in a former shop'the Handyman has a stripped back interior with exposed brick walls and plenty of good seating options throughout the interior with the brewing kit on display above the bar and there is a room behind the main bar which is used for social events. This is our first visit to here and once we gave our track and trace details we took our seat near the front windows and ordered our beers. When we visited we had a glass of Handyman IPA each which were superb and well priced. This is a great place to visit and is very easy to find from Borrowdale road bus stop it's a short walk.(This is my first review of the Handyman). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-15.00-23.30. Friday-Sunday-12.00-23.30. Hours May Differ From Above Due To The Covid 19 Restrictions. Nearest Bus Stop. Borrowdale road bus stop.

Excellent cafe in the heart of Liverpool. Great vicinity with walking distance to many attractions - Central Library, Museum, Liverpool Lime Street stations, Royal Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool Uni etc What impressed me most? Cosy environment. Soothing music. Most importantly, very affordable price. I can hardly recall a place that would offer a MEDIUM size Americano for a price <£3. They even give a complementary sweet to rinse off the coffee after-taste. Overall awesome place to chill & hangout. Will revisit if time permits

Visited the Quarry Green Club after attending a funeral service and I must say I can't speak highly enough about this club. It's been here for many years ,a nice look to it ,multi roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating. About 200 plus attended the farewell party after the funeral ,staff were great ,beers were flowing ,buffet great and the general atmosphere was really good ,had a great time in here till throwing out time as did all our group, easy to locate along Daleside Road ,well worth checking out if you're in Kirkby.

This place is a hidden gem right by the fly in the loaf. The ale and choice is spot on but their secret weapon are their sandwiches.. Best butties I've ever tasted, I'd say best in our great city.. honestly unreal. So fresh and quality ingredients. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Can't wait too go back for some sandwiches 😋
