We had seen Becca’s bites advertised on Facebook and decided to take a trip out for a late lunch. The weather was beautiful and on entering, the bi fold patio doors were open onto the patio and there was music playing in the background.
We were greeted by Becca and made to feel really welcome.
Food order placed, we relaxed with our drinks while we waited for our meals. We honestly felt like we were on holiday! That authentic, relaxed café/bar atmosphere has been captured perfectly by Becca and Craig and made for a truly relaxing afternoon.
Food arrived and it was just lovely. Everything was served at the same time and piping hot. We then had to try the cakes, after all it would be rude not to! There were plenty to choose from and the carrot cake and lemon drizzle cake were super fresh and light. We felt that chilled we stayed a good while longer ordering a good value bucket of beer, soft drinks and milkshakes and made an afternoon/early evening of it.
If you haven’t visited, what are you waiting for?! You’ll be well fed and watered and given a warm welcome. You’re made to feel like old friends and you’re supporting a lovey family business.
We’ve also attended a couple of quiz nights here and had a great time. It’s speed quizzing and we’ve had a really good laugh. Not sure I should be advertising this though as seats get filled fast and we don’t want to risk not getting in!!! Joking aside, give it a try, it’s a really good night!
Keep up the great work Becca and Craig, you’ve got a unique place here with a lovely ambience.
Great cafe with friendly Turkish staff- great customer service and the gentleman serving was really friendly and had a good chat about his country. I'm just giving it a minus point as it's succumbed to the 'dog friendly' epidemic of Lark Lane- I don't want dogs sniffing their private parts while I'm eating as it really puts me off my food and they're also a trip hazard. I wish more places would forbid dogs. I'd definitely go back though as the toilets were nice, coffee strong and fab staff
Pub and bar hopping down Ranelagh Street my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into The Lost Lounge ,a great bar we always look forward to visiting on any trip to Liverpool City Centre we take.
I love the look of this bar ,interior is superb, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, eclectic decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport, nice wall art and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street.
We were here on a Thursday night, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a beer each, we chose Madri beer ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great bar we were in.
I enjoy Madri beer ,a new European style lager that is becoming more prevalent throughout the pubs and bars of Liverpool ,a beer brewed between Molson Coors Brewery and La Sagra Brewery, at 4.6% ABV ,its a light, hoppy and very drinkable beer especially when served iced cold as in this bar, so tasty, a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of.
We really enjoyed our beers in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.

I am very pleased to say that I am able to easily order these very luxurious and beautifully handcrafted cookies online. The process of ordering was easy, and the cookies were delivered within the timeframe that they said it would be. Imagine my excitement when the post arrived!
Each cookie was wrapped individually, I guess, to keep them fresh.
I ordered "Delicious Delights" which included a variety of flavours, and each of them has its own character. They are indeed very delicious, a perfect partner for my cup of coffee. Of course, I have a few favourites, but I shall not create bias (I like the Kinder Bueno Cookies and the Lotus Biscoff Caramelised Cookie one, but shhhhh)..
I will definitely be ordering again, especially after discovering the hassle-free ordering process from the website. There are soooo many flavours to choose from, and I wish to try them all (one day, watch this space)! I will try the coconut and pistachio combination next amongst others :D
As it says on the title, a box of these goodies is worth every single, hard-earned penny!
I have one chippy meal a month ,never over indulge in this treat but when I go a chippy in Kirkby Town Centre its always Luke's Chippy.
A chippy that's spotlessly clean, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and staff here are just super, so friendly.
My twin brother and I ordered bags of chips ,these were totally huge ,steaming hot and so tasty and filling, just what we needed to set us up for a good few hours ,its a chippy easy to locate on St Chads Parade an well worth checking out if you're in the area.
El horario de apertura es;
