Pub hopping down Ranelagh Street my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Subway outlet for a quick bite to eat, been here before, its a really good Subway. The interior is neat and tidy, light and airy, usual Subway decor and furnishings and some seating arrangements. We ordered ham, cheese, salad baguette, prepared in front of you with fresh ingredients, we also had a soft drink with our baguettes ,we munched away while planning which pub to visit next. My baguette was delicious, tasty, filling and just what we needed before moving on. This Subway outlet is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 9am till 10pm. Well worth checking out.

Went to Etci Mehmet Steakhouse with the family for supper in Liverpool as we were staying the night nearby. The starters were great - Turkish sausage (sujuk) and chicken wings. My daughter loves Ceasar salad and she chose that for a main meal - also fantastic, the croutons were clearly home made and prepared especially for the meal (we were impressed). What disappointed us was the asado beef which my wife and I shared as a main meal. This is described as a smoked dish, but there was no smoked flavour whatsoever. It was more like something that had spent too long in slow cooker, to be honest. I asked one of the waiters if the meat had been in a smoker, and he said that it hadn't. Now I'm not sure how a restaurant can describe a dish as smoked when it's just slow-roasted (some trades-description issues going on there). It was also served lukewarm on a flatbread (I think the flatbread had quickly absorbed any heat from it). When we saw other people getting their sizzling steaks and lamb chops, we realised that we had made a huge mistake. Don't get me wrong, it was edible and we ate it all (felt we had to as it was a £50 option), but it wasn't great. They also kindly gifted us a very nice baklava dessert due to our comments about the asado. By all means, go to this restaurant, but go for the sizzling steaks - asados (like tango and fernet cocktails) are done best by Argentinians.

Went there with family had some tomahawks and t-bones. Just perfect from the staff to the quality of the meat and they were cooked to perfection (im very fussy with my steaks ) totally recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
