The best restaurants in St Oswald's Hyndburn North West

Me and my wife have drove past this place so many times and tonight we decided to come here for a little date night. The staff was so friendly the place was nice and cosy recently refurbished and the food was to die for! If I could lick my plate I would have… very reasonably priced, a hidden gem if you ask me and a must try!

Having been on a local errand, I fancied an ice cream so Googled 'ice cream, Oswaldtwistle' and this place popped up. A proper ice-cream parlour with good ice cream that is open all year round and you can sit inside or out if you wish. A waffle cone with a good portion of ice cream and flake cost me £2.50 - fair by today's standards. It satisfied my craving and can definitely recommend. There's also a chip shop adjoining it next door!

I found this place on Google and seeing the menu I booked for a dinner, a small but really welcoming place! the food was delicious and the prices were accessible to everyone. we will definitely be back!

I always eat here, when I come to the UK. Great home cooked food at reasonable price. . Recommend the chicken with black-pudding and pepper sauce. Or the Sea Bass with chorizo ( when they have it). Good puddings as well.

Went here on Sunday afternoon there were 9 of us we ordered our food it took forever to serve us soggy brochette with garlic and cream mushrooms eventually the main course arrived over cooked chicken some hard roast cold potatoes fish was ok I had to keep asking for the desert after ordering them we waited and waited eventually we got our desserts only to find that 1 person received the wrong one the service was slow When I made a complaint was told sorry after spending £200 pounds never again appalling food appalling service

Booked for Christmas Day. Had to pre order which was fine. Lovely warm welcome. Chatted with staff and chefs. Food was beautifully served and delicious. Not our first visit and won’t be our last. Definitely recommend.

Went for a meal on Tuesday night and could not fault it , the food was excellent, and so was the service .

What a horrid waste of space place, The food was absolutely terrible. There was LUMPS in the soup. And i found, what im pretty was a PUBIC HAIR in my GRAVY!!! Speaking this “gravy” it was more watered than rain. I might as-well gone and put a stock cube into a park puddle. The food was colder than my dads heart, and honestly chewy as heck. Another loss for the STAFF. Tell me why, it took 13 minute's to get me a coke. The wait for the starter was around 1 hour and there wasn’t that many of us. The service, The food, The staff AND the building is horrible.
