Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar in Hyndburn

Me and my wife have drove past this place so many times and tonight we decided to come here for a little date night. The staff was so friendly the place was nice and cosy recently refurbished and the food was to die for! If I could lick my plate I would have… very reasonably priced, a hidden gem if you ask me and a must try!

Well this restaurant is amazing, the staff and chefs work extremely hard to make your visit worthwhile, absolutely loved it all 8 off us everything was on point the cocktails and beers and then the food, Fillet Steaks was amazing and the passion fruit cheesecake was so light and delicious my 4 year old grandaughter demolised it, well done guys we have booked again see you in January 2023.

I have visited the restaurant three times since it reopened in November under the direction of Mark Taylor. The tapas and Sunday lunch menu were both excellent. The food is well cooked and superbly presented. There are a great range of dishes including for vegetarian and vegan palates. The front of house team make you welcome and there is a cosy fire with a range of wines and cocktails. I would highly recommend.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Visited tonight with my beautiful family who travelled from norden Rochdale. We dined here 5 days ago and the food is outstanding was such excellent food served with high standards resulting to 5*** michelin food everything is cooked fresh ,nothing frozen like normal pub grub !!! Definitely worth a visit massive hands to the owner mark who's the main chef you deserve masterchef degree looking forward to another visit from helmshore Bb4 4ny xxxx

Delicious food. Lovely decor and surroundings, with open fire. Friendly service. You can see that the chef is passionate about what he does.

Reopened with good food. I had the seafood Tien, chestnut risotto and pistachio lava desert. Good service, spacious tables.

We visited Friday 9th December - party of 4. We all loved the ambience and deco and service. The food was amazing, quality ingredients and beautifully presented. Well on the way to Michelin stars! Will be back!

Thought we would try this newly opened restaurant after reading about the chef patron in the local paper. No tapas on the menu just a short 'festive' menu but still with good options for vegetarians on both starters and mains. Very pleased to say that everything was delicious, tasty, flavoursome and well presented. Staff were very sweet and attentive. The kitchen is open to the restaurant which is nice so you can see and hear what's going on, and afterwards the chef came out to see if we had enjoyed our dinner. It's obvious that a great deal of care and attention has been given to the menu and to the cooking. 10/10!!! Thank you for a lovely evening.

When all aspects come together to form the perfect restaurant! Amazing food, ambience, wine, service and cocktails. 5 small plates was the perfect amount for two people. Highly recommend the halloumi, chorizo, scallops, patatas bravas and gambas pil pil. Booked already for a return visit. Do it, you won’t regret it!
