Great staff, great beer and great atmosphere. What's not to like. Will definitely be revisiting.

Something very different for a change. Great setting, welcoming staff and an extensive choice of beers and largers. Staff know their stock inside out, everything looked well looked after. Confident there is something for everyone. Including cherry to chocolate.

We went for quiz night, got there earlier so we could order food. Food was great, staff were great, the quiz isnt just a list of questions having a crafty round and having a go on the arcade machines which was a welcome change from other places which just rattle off a list of questions. Also the place is dog friendly which is an automatic plus for me :D

Had a few beers & some tacos whilst spending a night in Oswaldtwistle whilst traveling to the Lakes. Good selection of beers on tap & fridges looked well stocked. Clean & modern place, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting something a bit different from a traditional pub set up.

Popped in for Oktoberfest. What a lucky place Ossy is to have Tap Select. A really welcoming and friendly pub with excellent beer selection and delicious food. A must visit!

Amazing craft beer and food! My family from oswaldtwistle took us here and it did not disappoint! Wicked selection of craft beers of all styles, friendly staff and owner happy to chat about all things beer and the food was outstanding! On par with any craft beer place you’d find in Bristol / Manchester / London or anywhere else. We will be back next time in Ossy!!

Decided to visit tap select for a Thursday night eat out treat n boy what a treat a staggering selection of fine beers. I opted for the IPA which was excellent then ordered the tapas ..there was a two for one burger deal on but we went for the full menu n it was delicious chicken wings loaded fries chicken skewers. What an asset to oswaldwistle this establishment is absolutely bang on. Well done to all n will absolutely recommend all day every day

Genuinely one of the best bars I've ever been to. The bar staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The atmosphere is always great and the food is absolutely delicious! They also have a great selection of beers and ciders that you can't find anywhere else locally. The chef is fantastic too & she works really hard making sure all of the food is served in a well-presented and timely manner. Would recommend to anyone!

I would reccomend this to anyone. Easily one of the best places for a drink and food in Oswaldtwistle, perhaps the whole of Hyndburn. The food is incredible, and on a Thursday it's two for one burgers between 5 and 7, you can't find food of this quality for cheaper anywhere else. There has also recently been a change in the menu, as well as a selection of specials that change every week or so. There's plenty on other nights of the week also, including a pub quiz, home brew night and Magic the gathering nights! The staff are absolutely lovely and the atmosphere is incredibly lovely and friendly. You can find a massive selection of lovely but unusual beers, for example a pineapple beer or lemon radler that you cannot find pretty much anywhere else! It's also dog friendly which is an added bonus! I really cannot reccomend this place enough. You're doing a great job.

Always a great range of interesting beers

The food is always above your average pub grub, more on par with the northern quarter in Manchester, great portion sizes,packed with flavour and comparable with the area on a price point. The nachos are lush! We come here tho for the beer & ciders, outstanding choices and Star of the show! Staff are always friendly and helpful, it always has great access for the disabled.

Very good selection of ales, good value & tasty food. Child friendly , friendly staff, good vibe .

Fantastic small business serving a great selection of craft and specialist beer to the local community. A delivery service is run weekly for online orders as well as burgers and small tapas plates available for takeaway. Highly recommend the chimichurri steak!

Stumbled over this place and enjoyed the most tasty beers being talked through the flavours by an enthusiastic owner. You don't need to travel to be big city's, I recommend you take time to visit this great bar.

Went today for the first time ,great food ,large portions and very tasty and well cooked. Staff are great and knowledgeable a very pleasant experience overall.

Called in tonight, waited a whole 12 seconds to be served. Quality variety of beers and even took a spin on tap roulette. Great service.

We go here a few times a week,staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is lovely wish they would open more!!! Outside space available and well behaved dogs are welcome. Can get very busy at certain times, so hard to get a seat, but staff always try their best to accommodate you. Good wheelchair access as well.

Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. However, the food is really salty! Such a shame as it's clearly a well thought out menu and has been made with care and attention. This is the only downside; it's otherwise a great place to visit.

We've recently moved to the area and were delighted to find a place within walking distance of our new home that served my favourite lager, Augustiner. This stuff is not easy to get hold of, hardly any pubs stock it outside of a few expensive high end bars in Manchester or London. But, it's not only Lagers that are on offer. There are some excellent IPA's and Wheat Beers available too. We have also eaten here a few times and the Nachos are as good as I have tasted anywhere. This place is a little gem and I can well see myself becoming a regular.

Fab little bar in Ossy; I don't even like beer but drank my way through 6 of the 8 on offer! Really nice light flavours and 1/3 pints available so not over facing. We stayed for a bit of food; chicken wings, beef strips and prawns - delicious! Dog friendly too so ticks all the right boxes for us. Very friendly and knowledgeable landlord who talked through each of our beer selection. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely little bar, great atmosphere and selection of drinks. The bar staff are only too happy to help you choose from the large menu and will let you sample. Also ordered some for delivery during lockdown and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Would recommend.

Having no clue about beer myself, I reached out to Tap Select for a fathers day gift (I knew they were offering delivery whilst the hospitality sector is closed). They put together a customised beer selection based on what what I knew my dad liked, and delivered it on a day of my choosing. Excellent service.

Its a little piece of Manchesters Norhern Quarter in Oswaldtwistle. At the moment food isn't being served but if its a great selection of craft beers on tap and a wide selection of bottled and canned brews from around the UK and world you want then this is the place for you. The beers on tap are constantly changing and for those of us who have had a lifetime of generic global brewers fare its a revelation in our little town. Landlord Domenico Sanna knows his onions and will gladly take you on a taste tour of different styles and let you have a sample before making your choice. If you haven't tasted the new wave of craft beers then make Tap Select your go to destination next time you are in the area and give your taste buds a treat. Props to you Mr Sanna.

Next level beers at prices which are unbeatable. Manchester grade selection with the convenience of being local. If your looking to brighten up your Friday night with wonderfully strange and exciting IPA's then Tap Select is perfect. They also offer a take out option which is handy.

It's not bad...it's nice that in Oswaldtwistle there's a bar that has started sell beers that are moving away from your standard lagers and bitters however the selection of craft beers isn't that exciting considering the market out there atm. I think this place could be so much more including a bottle shop similar to Beer Dock. The owner clearly enjoys a stout as there seems to be more of these than any other beer... I like it but I don't love it.

I visited here with my wife on Friday night and I have to say it was excellent. We had a couple of beers each and they were all really good. My wife went mad for the stay puft marshmallow beer. We enjoyed the free arcade games too and we thought it was a really nice touch. This bar is exactly what ossy needs and I wish Dom and his team all the best in their new venture

A large selection of excellent beers, but don't let the long list put you off as the friendly staff know their stuff and will talk you through them. There was no food when we visited but we were told that it will be back within the next week. Definitely worth a visit.

I called at (the new / December 2018) Tap Select during a business trip to Blackburn. This was a welcome evening diversion! The place is so new, I had to have it added to Trip Advisor. There is s great choice of draft, bottle and can craft ales. The food is tapas / small dishes - choose three for £13. I did, and they were each AMAZING (read my lips!). The barman was the owner and I wish his new enterprise every success. I’d be delighted to call here again. For users of UnTappd, the venue and its beer menu was present and up to date. I’ve never felt the need (ever, EVER) to hug a chef, but last night I had to. I’ve been all over the shop...Australia, America, Asia, numerous European trips but I have never tasted Tapas (or in fact any food) that’s made me feel that I never want to eat again. The Asian Style Pork Belly melted in the mouth, the Tempura Broccoli makes me as Scottish angry that we don’t deep fry stuff as good as this....and we deep fry Pizza. Cauliflower bites were....I’m not actually telling you...you have to go in and get some and eat them for yourself. The chips....well they’re just chips....we’ve all eaten chips, they can’t be bettered cos they’re just chips....NO THEY ARE NOT....they are bites of Unicorn breath. The Cheeseboard, Mushrooms, Chicken Wings, Patatas Bravas were amazing too ( this is a culmination of 10 of us eating all this stuff, I never just rocked up and ordered the menu). Cannot wait to go back!

What a fab eating/drinking place this is! The food is absolutely amazing. It truly is the tastiest, vegetarian food that I’ve ever had! My husband enjoyed the meat dishes too,. He especially enjoyed the black pudding dish. The beers were plentiful. We chose the Floris raspberry beer, which was a nice refreshing change from our usual choice of beer. I 100% recommend this new tapas bar, and It won’t be long before we visit again!
