The best restaurants in Hardwick Stockton-on-Tees North East

Lunch time Tuesday, called in for a takeaway coffee. Four staff on and no queue but still had to wait over 5 mins to be served. Probably the worst flat white I’ve had anywhere - weak and insipid. And £3.95 for a flat white - come on Starbucks that’s ridiculous.l!!

Food completely wrong that what I put on the kiosk

Food was absolutely disgusting, donner kebab was dry and stiff, the parmo and pizza was tasteless, and also not to mention has given me food poisoning off the uncooked parmo.

The best part was the great customer service from Romes

Went here for Sunday lunch food was lovely and the staff were brilliant so attentive and friendly will definitely go back thank you The Mitre

Called in for a bowl of soup, order taken at 12.30. A couple of requests that were politely nodded. I ally arrived 35 minutes later . Didn’t have time to eat it all and to top it off they snook a stale piece of bread under a fresh piece ! The tea , which had arrived earlier was cold by now. I asked a couple of times why I had to wait so long and the answers ranged from problems in the kitchen to oh, we just take the order but have nothing to do with the food ?? . Crikey, what an experience . No offer of a refund at all and just got blanked on my way out. Very poor customer service and quite annoyed at the reaction of staff. Won’t be back
