The best part was the great customer service from Romes

No my usual place, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Enjoyed a coffee and something to eat with my sister. Disappointed that I wasn't able to use my Costa gift card to make my purchase.

Was told they do not accept gift cards only after I had ordered and went to pay. Absolutely disgraceful attitude by staff.

Lovely little coffee shop at North Tees Hospital. Clean and tidy. I love the decor. There's plenty of seating. Very good and fast service. Guaranteed a great hot chocolate. Delicious cherry tart and a cookie. Would recommend.

Service is always great, and wife loves the coffee! Food, notably the cakes always feel heavy but muffins are perfect. Bit pricy but worth a visit for a break.

Always come here for coffee nice little place if u can get a seat

Opening times need to be adjusted as they shut everything down at 5pm leaving nothing available... Which means in reality they're closed

Pricey for a standard hot chocolate nearly £3 although that maybe because it was in a hospital so not sure if this is normal pricing.

Who doesn't love Costa? Staff go out of their way to accommodate your needs, especially when I couldn't carry my tray due to my disability they assisted me in finding a seat and being extremely helpful when accommodating my order with small children with me.thank you costa

Iv give it a 4 star because staff friendly but always messy tables you have to ask for tables to be wiped down and trays ect to be moved

Server sloshed my coffee into the saucer, handled the spoon by its bowl. Not very hygienic

Not the best Costa I've been in. Staff were too busy talking amongst themselves or to their family sat nearby; weren't overly attentive to customers. Food and drink were fine though.

Diabolical customer service. Baristas are common as muck and have no class or customer service attitude.

Great coffee though a bit pricy

Its a costa, good coffee, clean, with plenty of seating. However it doesnt allow you to use your loyalty card which is a bit strange? Staff say its because its within the hospital, however Costas within Tescos accept them. Its a funny howdedo.🤷‍♀️ especially when there are other ways to purchase coffee (cheaper) around the main areas of the hospital?

Staff are very abrupt and rude. Not helpful at all and we might as well have been on a conveyer belt. Second time I've visited the Costa, the first visit I thought it might have been a bad day but after visit today I realised that this is the attitude of the staff.

The prices are shocking, if the other places sold tea/coffee/ hot choc in real cups then we would rather go there.. nearly £3 for a small hot chocolate, no cream no marshmallows etc...shocking

Coffee could have been hotter, if we wanted a cold drink we would of asked for one.. dissatisfied..

It's just in the perfect place in the hospital to have a brew before you go and see your relatives in hospital.

Lovely coffee and great service

Shocked by the lack of empathy of the staff. A lady with crutches asked for her coffee to be taken to a table, when the girl serving asked another colleague to take the coffee over she said "why, she can walk". Yes she could walk but using crutches and carrying a coffee, could she? Really bad attitude.

I often use this store and have complained on a number of occasions that there is no RED handled group handle for decaf coffee . As in all other stores I’ve been in . When I have brought this up they tell me they can’t get hold of one nd that they rince the one they have . But that’s not good enough as my husband has a heart condition and always has decade coffee for that reason . I am not happy with this situation they could use a handle from the second machine but the never do this could be a fatal mistake and I would like this looked into asap

Very friendly and quick service, located just inside main entrance on the left. Plenty of seating and all the usual fair that Costa normally provides.
