Wow, from start to finish, this meal was delicious. For such an amazing fine dining restaurant, it still felt casual and welcoming. Staff were friendly and down to earth, easy to talk to and there to answer any questions. Simply outstanding

We have had a super weekend with our dog at this very impressive looking hotel. We got past the debacle of room 45 above the spa, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that room was hotter than the sauna. When we were taken to the room it had a portable fan running, so if you know there is an issue why put guests in there? Consequently on the first night we got very little sleep. They did move us to another room for the remaining 2 nights which was much better. We ate in the Cloisters restaurant twice and it was superb. The pool area is lovely as is the steam room, but the jacuzzi is dated and not warm enough. Think they will be improving this soon? Staff are friendly, big shout out to Nick who was great. Can recommend this hotel but ask not to be put above the spa?

Took mum for high tea today and was not dissapointed. As good as any we have visited including running fox JD House etc. Best mni steak pie and quiche by far and beautiful fruit and cheese stones. Definitely be back and can highly recommend. 5 stars from us

I have no issues with this Bakery the staff are super friendly and food is as expected. What I am about to say is my own fault for not having my reading glasses on. I am leaving this review as a warning to others as I don’t think the small print of a sandwich should be responsible for the main ingredients of a label of which it sells as let me explain . Lots of ingredients people are intolerant to are in the fine print. So they read labels to ensure safety . I am not one of those people , I just hate mayonnaise the texture makes me feel sick. So if a sandwich is made and as an example it’s a salad & ham or salad and cheese . If the maker added mayo as they have the cheese and salad why is it not in the big print salad cheese & mayo . I would avoid it like the plague. I don’t think a big blob of mayo added should go in with the e number fine print when it’s a preference of texture not intolerance ! I have vomited my guts out I will never buy a sandwich again from a take away ! I mean if you can fit Freshly baked white bread you can make the mayonnaise bigger as you added it manually!!

As one of a group of cyclists from Newcastle Great Park, it’s always a good stop off before the final stretch back home. Butties and a drink 👍, along with friendly service. Courtyard round the back is great when the weather allows.

This restaurant we've been several times before. Tonight was so special for our anniversary and unbeknown to us they sprung a surprise desert on us. So grateful for the celebration but the night with these people was more than that. Food exceptional, staff so pleasant and eager to please their guests. Can't thank them enough for such a memorable meal. Don't hesitate to go, you will love it as much as we do.
