The best restaurants in Ponteland West Northumberland North East

Restaurant Pine is quite remarkable in all departments; conviviality, hospitality, service, drinks, and food. The restaurant is unstuffy, and casually smart. The food is at the highest level, created from a hyper local process. Between the own grown and foraged ingredients, one would be hard pressed (as a diner) to have a meal of this calibre anywhere else in the UK. Their food balances artistry, culinary prowess, and a deep understanding of their fabulous ingredients. What they do with it all to creat such splendid dishes, is little short of utter genius to me and my palate

I was there with family on the weekend of the 16th May to celebrate 3 birthdays. One had very complex dietary requirements due to severe allergies. This was mentioned at the confirmation call with the hotel. At every meal and snacks they assured us every precaution had taken place to ensure no cross contamination. The staff were amazing on everything. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I could not fault our special weekend. We were also gifted a bottle of champagne to celebrate our 3 birthdays this was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. We had spa treatments, felt amazing after that. We will be returning and would recommend Maften hall

Cracking little country local with good beer and friendly staff. Good little place to drop into if you’re cycling in Northumberland and want a nice pint in the sun.

Encontramos este excelente lugar de brunch en el último año y ahora comer allí regularmente, cada semana si podemos, a pesar de que está a una media hora de distancia. ¡Es una pena que no vivamos más cerca! El personal es encantador y la comida es excelente! Es un brillante punto a medio camino para que las chicas y chicos de lycra en sus dos ruedas coman, se calienten y para una parada social. El jefe, el perro del trabajo y yo podemos recomendar encarecidamente que se deleite con un pequeño desayuno y salir con una deliciosa rebanada de pastel.

A big thank to you Emma for the wonderful experience this morning as she single-handedly managed breakfast this morning. She was extremely courteous and helpful. 🙂 Food was awesome too!

The food and service was absolutely perfect. We parked just outside and got a table without a reservation. We couldn’t fault it. We will be back. Thank you 🤩

We have had afternoon tea and artisan bread box delivered everything was fabulous from the sandwiches savouries scones and fresh cream cakes it was all delicious The bread box was full of delicious bread, muffins croissants, brownies and scones and a chocolate fudge cake.Forget about Paul Hollywood and Bake Off and get yourself off to Davidson’s at Darras Hall
