Wonderful brunch. Wonderful friendly staff. Plus, Dottie makes the best hot chocolate in London. We go after swimming most weeks & we're greeted gladly every time.

The food was delicious, homemade and with original, authentic flavours. The owner was really welcoming and friendly too. A brilliant experience overall!

Arrived quite late at a nearby hotel and chose this place for a late evening meal. Very warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped through the door, very helpful advising on the menu and the food was amazing. Really glad we called in and can highly recommend.

I stayed in a hotel next to it and had breakfast. It is called Danny's diner now I think. Food was okay and the waiters were polite.

Always get slices of cakes from here and the staff are always friendly too! Great prices too for a slice!

My friend and I have passed by this restaurant several times, and this Sunday, we decided to try it for an early dinner. My intention with this review is not to complain but to offer constructive feedback, as neither the staff nor the manager grasped the significance of our dining experience. I know the potential consequences of leaving a negative review for a business; however, it was necessary to convey our message this way. We ordered the platter for two, and when it arrived, it appeared less than fresh and somewhat dull. We attempted to taste the meat, but unfortunately, it was inedible and reheated in a microwave. We also ordered the Malaysian Chili Pepper Beef, which puzzled us as we tried to identify the dish. It consisted of small pieces of dried meat covered in a dark, chewy batter and an intensely spicy, sticky sauce. The best word to describe this dish would be "horrible." Additionally, we ordered garlic bread, but I need words to describe it, as it bore little resemblance to what one would expect from garlic bread. The most disappointing part of our experience occurred when we brought our concerns to the attention of the first waiter. Instead of addressing our concerns, he called over a second waiter, who became defensive and intimidated us during our discussion. We then requested to speak with the manager. After explaining our situation, he surprisingly stated that we were the first customers to express dissatisfaction with the food quality. While he offered to remove some items from our bill, it was unfortunate that he did not fully understand our feedback. Interestingly, the table across from us also complained about their food quality. My advice is that running a business involves several vital aspects from the moment you start until you close your doors. The food you serve should accurately reflect what's described on the menu. Trust me, if you cut corners with your food, customers will notice quickly, harming your reputation. Additionally, it’s crucial to have a staff that listens to customer feedback. As a business owner, I find it essential to address these issues.

Absolutely rubbish, went with family thought of great food. The starters are from previous day's. Mains are okay hence 2 star. The service and counter lady is useless asking us to pass the plates. Won't go again. As I too from same place thought of having great food and service. Which is utterly failed. Bad experience with family.

We visited on a Friday night not sure what to expect. We ordered a mixture of food types like bao, thai curry, sushi etc and everything was good. The portions are not gigantic but I would say fair, and the price in line with the other places around. You need your spend approximately 30 pounds for an evening meal but they also have some offers going on at lunch time. Will go back to try the set menu.

There are many good places to eat in Tooting but it's just off the radar. Finally made a trip because of Harringtons pie mash which became a priority over Vermicelli. I'm so glad I tried it and it was certainly memorable especially the menu as liquor is spelt LICKER. The jellied eels were delicious and they were able to give me extra jelly on a half portion. The liquor was also comforting as you could taste eel in it as well.

Be careful of their pizza that can damage your teeth. I ordered a £9.95 Shoe Sole (Margherita - tomato and mozzarella chese) and £3.95 250ml still water, one of the worst experiences I have had eating out.

Hello , I just put one "point" not about the food , because we didn't have a chance to try it . The waiter was really rude, and dirty. We ask for tap water, de glasses was so dirty and inside was swimming some dust , so we ask for replace it , and I think he brought us the same glasses. Tabel was so sticy and dirty so to be honest we was scared to eat something there . I ask him about the menu , there was an offer for wensday (free botel of wine when you order starter and main so we order , 1 main and starter and he said the wine will be for free. When we didn't receive the drink we ask him why and he said "oh yes you need to order to mains " but he didn't inform us about it ant he get realy angry. We still want to stay there but really after what we saw it , the cleanses of the place we was just scared to eat something over there. So he took a food . OK that's fine it's many places to eat. But when we was leveing I went to him and just say that if he took this situation in bad way , rude (we was not) he get even nor angry and we just left. Really highly don't recommend that . Of if you want to get food poison go for it . Thank you and sorry we didn't even manege to take a pictures of food only the tap water because this is only what we received
