The best restaurants in Cathall Waltham Forest London

I loved the food here, me and my friends are extremely saddened that the place closed down recently, they had the best and most affordable chinese food which had great flavour and quick service. I hope the owners see this as I'm sure many people have wondered what happened to this palace.

Relaxed atmosphere with a mature crowd. Sheesha is great and very good value. Have tried several items from the menu and all have been excellent.

Very delicious food! The traditional Albanian beans with dry meat was the best! The staff was very friendly!

(I have just corrected a typo, so my review is not brand new.) Noticed this place a while ago, next door to our famous Leytonestone gas station with Alfred Hitchcock's blue plaque. Saw it going from a mix-and-match basic setup to what is now a very nice looking restaurant, especially considering the local standard. Today we dropped by with my partner, realizing they had a lunch buffet, and it was very much worth it. The people were friendly and the food excellent. Never had Ugandan food before, but it ticked all the boxes for me. Yummy. The place has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with the right kind of background music. We will certainly return.

Great food and charming staff, we had a really enjoyable evening, For some reason we had not tried this restaurant before but glad we finally did. As well as the normal menu there were also very interesting specials. We had fish stew from the menu and a risotto from the specials and would order them again! Reasonably priced for the standard of food and good atmosphere. We are really looking forward to a return visit.

The beef burger was not nice - too hard, over cooked. Had to be thrown away. It was inedible.

Does anyone know what happened to this place? It was open and then one day it just shut and hasn’t open since!

Great place not to busy during afternoon. Got 0% alcohol beer in tab what was a plus. Out side garden with seats cover from rain and wind.

I ordered some traditional Romanian food from them via just-eats and I received a completely different food. I called them over to solve the problem for me and they assured me they going to send the right order, but it never happen. After waiting an hour from the time I spoke with them over the phone I tried to call them back but no one picked up the phone of course! I’m so pissed of as this wasn’t the first time I ordered from them. Very bad service.
