Traditional ol' school, try there dog, people friendly. . Exceptional catering for all tastes. . That's my opinion and it's central for a bevvy or 💚 good toons after shopping. . Great staff immaculately clean and children are well catered for, there's pool, board games Janice does art work so I consider it an educational added bonus . . Great clientele thanks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was a very busy night, that did affect serving times, the host's Julie & Kenny were affable and attentive, food was excellent, the band were terrific, lots of friendly customers that enhanced a wonderful atmosphere and great music.

A simple Irish themed pub with a 70s feel to it. No cask ales but a good few keg beers available. Certainly a local's local but could be great fun at times.

This was a funeral, so the food was done by friends, the people at the bar was polite and friendly.

This place is in a decent location and can make a good local pub but I feel it really needs an injection of atmosphere to bring it up to speed.

Great space and venue for a party. We had around 50 guests, and there was still plenty of room. The land lady was excellent, she let us get on with the party decorations and the rearranging of the furniture. She pretty much left us alone but was always there when you needed her. Nice Size stage for the classic DJ with all the gear. There were lights, and they weren't too bad, but a good DJ should bring their own set of lights. The price of the venue was, I think £300 for the evening from around 6 pm, and we needed to be out by 1am, which we were, just! If you want a "no frills - is what it is space", then this would be ideal. It did need a lick of paint here and there, but once everyone gets into the swing of things, who cares? lol

A lovely venue at a reasonable price. Very friendly and accomodating staff that catered for every need during the event that I held at the venue. Would definitely book again. Thankyou for making the night a special one.

This is a traditional EastEnd pub. Service with a smile and the prices are very reasonable. Been several times for salsa classes in the Sinbin I find the staff really nice and the venue clean.

The Barstaff are always very welcoming and friendly.

Very reasonably priced, very friendly pub with Irish roots. Always has some sport on the telly, be it footy, darts or golf. Cracking Jukebox too. And the Guinness is very well cared for!

Enjoyed Star of India's excellent buffet with the luxury of a regular pub.

This, my second visit, was made more pleasurable due to also being able to dine on excellent food provided by the newly installed Star restaurant.

Was very quiet when we went in. We had looked at the website which said it served food but it didn't which was disappointing but the staff there were very friendly and welcoming.

Brilliant function room and friendly staff

Avoid like plague. This place has a feel of a desolated storage area, with a vibe of suicidal depression and urban angst. Dead quite on Saturday evening. We were there by mistake. Nothing going on, and felt like leaving as soon as we entered. Will not recommend to anyone.

Yeah it was quite pleasant and a change from doing my DIY & AA & bingo yeah enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere ..but I don't think I'll be stopping there every day for a lemonade and a dash of black currant as £3 pounds is a bit over the top.

Went to this Venue for a 30th. Well equipped for all manor of functions and reasonably priced bar too.

It's a decent, friendly, old-fashioned, local community boozer. No frills. No airs or graces. No pretention to be anything other than what it is. It also has a great function room next-door where, depending on your taste in music, they often have some rocking nights 🎸🎶🎤🎸

Excellent pub on Sinbin band nights

Despite the nice exterior, the inside seems very bare and empty with only a few tables and chairs around the edges. As a pub, I prefer places with a bit more character and feature, but this place may be more suited for private functions where the open centre could work as a dance floor. There is a pool table and darts available as well though for those who are keen for those games.

Nice pub, good selection of beers

Good pub, not expensive. Great for live music. Decent size dance floor and ample seating. Clean toilets and the bar staff are very efficient. Only ever visited in the evening. Transport good with bus stops outside and only a short walk to the overground or tube.

Los precios estándar wetherspoons, el lugar es grande, pero estaba muy ocupado en un viernes por la noche y tiene una buena cantidad de personas consumidoras de una mesa de comedor solo todo. El personal era encantador y el servicio era rápido. Encontrará algunos interesantes folk en aquí también. . Visita bastante agradable cuando no quiere gastar mucho en la comida.

Es caliente todo lo básico de todos Wetherspoons, buenas cervezas a buenos precios, menú de comida de valor y personal amable pero le falta ambiente, tal vez dándose cuenta de que hay otra cuchara justo en la calle que coincide aquí pero en un edificio más bonito y típico de cucharas, no hay nada malo aquí pero, hay mejor cerca.

I came for an event in the adjacent Sinbin, and was banished to the main bar because I was too early. I'd already ordered food, but it managed to find its way to me there. The decor reminded me of Irish pubs of my childhood - quite sparse, most activity around the bar counter, tables around the edges, a pool table in the corner. I was sitting beside a well-stocked bookcase, and there were tvs - so, plenty to keep customers occupied. My food took a little while to arrive, but the chicken burger I'd ordered was delicious, coming on a plate piled high with onion rings, chips and salad. And all at a very reasonable price! With friendly service, I'd happily eat here again.

Good food, very basic decorations

Very beautifully looking cozy old pub in the middle of High Street, only 5-10 minutes by bus from Stratford stations, Leytonstone stations and Westfield Shopping Centre (buses 257, 308) or short walk from Leyton station. It located next to a small but pretty local park too. It offers cooked meals, party hiring venue, food and drinks... and recently started to offer Salsa lessons! There is also a heated garden. I have seen wheelchair access outside too.
