This is such a nice spot to dine, whether you’re solo or with a group. Ambiance is beautiful, music is great, food is so delicious and the service is wonderful!
Very busy on a Friday night with a mixed audience from families with children to couples on dates. We were unfortunately squeezed in between 2 families and got noisy from 4 sets of handheld devices used for games or videos. I never stop to wonder why the parents don’t give their little ones headphones so the rest of the place can have a nice evening.
Starters were really nice, grilled octopus and burrata. Can recommend both of them.
Carbonara for main was not good at all. It looked like the dish had been sitting around for a while before it was brought out with the sauce starting to dry. Not a lot of flavour, lacking both salt and pepper. The guanciale on my dish was all fat. I know that cut is supposed to be fatty but lightly fried 0,5 inch lumps of fat was just disgusting! I told 2 members of staff who apologised and promised to deduct something from the bill. That didn’t happen…
Not the normal experience but unfortunately the one I’m now left with and I’ll give it some time before coming back.
Re-visited here again after a good few years. Still one of the best kebab places in Hounslow in my opinion. Friendly service too. Had the mixed doner kebab. Was really tasty.
We ordered Fruit Cake and Mango Cake last week for my husband and daughter's birthday last week. Both cakes were amazing and good value for money. Fruit cake was soft and had plenty of fruits in it. Mango cake was truly lovely to look at and yummy as well. Both were fresh and just the right amount of sweetness to it...not sickeningly sweet. Well done Jacob's Taste Buds!

A lovely local find. Quiet and gentle background music, a very tasty eggs benedict and a very nice pot of tea for lunch. The decor is vintage and quirky, my kind of place.

To say I enjoyed the food from the order I received that a very polite pleasent young man delivered was an understatement
yes this was a bit more expensive then the average Indian take away
personally I think xena spices incredible food was worth every penny the food itself was perfect the tastiest takeaway would be an understatement.
The staff member Soumeet bug shout out really courteous guy really was effortless for service brilliant a credit to the restaurant. Food was OK not sure if chicked was cooked well I. Mixed grill however no stomach ache after so that's good. Soumeet was kind courteous even handed us the TV remote for a movie that's was due to it being empty. However think it must have been restaurant family that arrived had their table and changed TV no issue but not old YouTube bollywood songs pls LOL with just a playlist lol. Kids got bored quick. Soumeet was the star food average not great. Also no parking! That's the biggest problem
Catered for a family dinner for 26 people. Food and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food and loved. Nihari and mixed grill was excellent. Portions were very generous. Best nihari I’ve tasted. Big thank you Ali and his team. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is just to make sure you don't make a journey - possibly the only home cooking place in Chiswick - possibly further afield - if there is news of what they are doing next it will be posted
I’ve been eating from here soon after it opened as I alway like to check out local new places that offer Indian/Punjabi food and it has become a one of favorites. Freshly cooked food in front of you. The food is amazing, especially the lamb curry. I have recommended this place to a lot of people and they agree its brilliant. Really good portions and very reasonably priced.
The biryanis come with complementary raita which is a nice touch. From what I have seen, this place is getting very popular considering it has been opened relatively for a short time. You won’t be disappointed.
I popped in here for breakfast. The lady - called Yells - couldn't do enough for me. She put the heater directly on me (very welcome on a freezing day). The service was great, the food was great with very good portions and reasonable prices. She even gave me a visitor's car permit. Definitely go there again.
Small, but with a lovely selection of cakes which always taste fresh and delicious. The price for tea and coffee is a but cheaper than the big franchises too
What a pretty looking bistro, on the bustling high street! As soon as we entered, we were given a very warm welcome. Our table was ready for us. It was a pleasant atmosphere. Our orders were taken quite promptly as well. The cafe wasn’t very busy. There were some tables for maybe breakfast or snacks.
However, our order took about 45 minutes to arrive at the table. It was quite a long wait, especially for the kids. However, the kids' pesto pasta was delicious and so was the fried chicken escalope. We could taste the pasta freshly made, which is what we would expect at an Italian place.
We also had the Sea bream special with vegetables, which was quite delicious. But in terms of roasted vegetables, there were only potatoes. However, apart from the wait - what really let us down was the mains that my husband and I ordered. I ordered Spaghetti Marinara with King Prawns and my husband ordered their special Seafood Spaghetti. As you can see from the photos, the king prawns were so small that I would not call them king prawns. Also, for both our dishes - the spaghetti seemed like it was out of a packet, not freshly made. I would at least expect that from an Italian establishment. Also, both the dishes were quite watery and bland.
But the staff were quite friendly and attentive, and in spite of the food not upto the mark - we left with a smile on our face.
