What a pretty looking bistro, on the bustling high street! As soon as we entered, we were given a very warm welcome. Our table was ready for us. It was a pleasant atmosphere. Our orders were taken quite promptly as well. The cafe wasn’t very busy. There were some tables for maybe breakfast or snacks. However, our order took about 45 minutes to arrive at the table. It was quite a long wait, especially for the kids. However, the kids' pesto pasta was delicious and so was the fried chicken escalope. We could taste the pasta freshly made, which is what we would expect at an Italian place. We also had the Sea bream special with vegetables, which was quite delicious. But in terms of roasted vegetables, there were only potatoes. However, apart from the wait - what really let us down was the mains that my husband and I ordered. I ordered Spaghetti Marinara with King Prawns and my husband ordered their special Seafood Spaghetti. As you can see from the photos, the king prawns were so small that I would not call them king prawns. Also, for both our dishes - the spaghetti seemed like it was out of a packet, not freshly made. I would at least expect that from an Italian establishment. Also, both the dishes were quite watery and bland. But the staff were quite friendly and attentive, and in spite of the food not upto the mark - we left with a smile on our face.

Nice dishes with a very good price/quality ratio. Service was not the best because they had a missing waiter. However the only waiter was very friendly and did his best. Excellent effort. Another nice thing is that they are dog friendly.

Visited with wife & two children. I do not often write reviews but felt compelled to write one on this occasion. The food and service was EXCELLENT. Impeccable service from all of the staff. Tasty fresh food. Great value. 10 out of 10 in all areas. Thank you.

We passed this interesting looking cafe which we hadn't noticed before. They had a main menu and a brunch menu and as we wanted a light meal we went for the latter. I tried the tomato omelette and added cheese and my wife had poached eggs with avocado, tomatoes, toast and smoke salmon. The quality of the food was excellent and it was beautifully cooked and presented. The proprietor was very friendly and chatty. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location.

Very busy on a Friday night with a mixed audience from families with children to couples on dates. We were unfortunately squeezed in between 2 families and got noisy from 4 sets of handheld devices used for games or videos. I never stop to wonder why the parents don’t give their little ones headphones so the rest of the place can have a nice evening. Starters were really nice, grilled octopus and burrata. Can recommend both of them. Carbonara for main was not good at all. It looked like the dish had been sitting around for a while before it was brought out with the sauce starting to dry. Not a lot of flavour, lacking both salt and pepper. The guanciale on my dish was all fat. I know that cut is supposed to be fatty but lightly fried 0,5 inch lumps of fat was just disgusting! I told 2 members of staff who apologised and promised to deduct something from the bill. That didn’t happen… Not the normal experience but unfortunately the one I’m now left with and I’ll give it some time before coming back.
