The best restaurants in Hornsey Haringey London

The food was lovely, the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. However, the waitress working didn’t have the best of customer service; she didn’t make us feel like welcomed. Everyone else at the restaurant were lovely, but we just wanted to leave as quick as possible. I don’t know if we will ever come back again.

Cakes are custom made to order. Rum sponge is the best for me. Large and welk worth the price. The homemade.sorrel is delish!

Just had an absolutely superb take away! Tandoori chicken was lovely and juicy (no dry chicken)! The lamb chops were amazing. My son had the kids chicken burger and loved it. Would highly recommend, high quality food and a very welcoming staff when ordering.

We had a lovely meal here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive or over attentive. The food was lovely, portion size was perfect. The decor was authentic in a Cuban/Bolivian traditional style clean and atmospheric ... they have live music but we ate very early in the evening before this began. Highly reccommend.

Nous sommes françaises et le personnel a été très accueillant et compréhensif vis à vis de notre anglais très moyen. Le repas était copieux et vraiment délicieux ! Absolutely top service from the staff who helped me with my order even though Uber Eats didn't deliver after I paid. They went above and beyond to help me and even replaced my order for free. I cannot thank them enough. The food has always been great. The service is even better. I have been going for years and will continue to go! It's what great food and great service should be! What a great chippy! No upfront payment. Ordered, cooked fresh, served and the fish and chips were amazing! I had curry sauce as well which was as good. I ate in. Chilled and friendy chippy.

What a treat. A warm and welcoming pizzaria that can't do enough to make your dining experience a wonderful one. Enjoyed Eva spiralised courgette dish in a lush, flavourful tomato sauce with asparagus tips and other treasures. The pizza is also amazing. Did not miss fake cheese with beautiful tomato sauce and flavourful Friarielli (rapini) greens. Delicious and highly recommended.

Called the restaurant before ordering on just eat to clarify if lentil soup is thick and made properly I was assured it was proper but then I received more watery than thick soup which lacked flavor and definitely wasn’t made properly like I was told. That was the reason I called the restaurant not to receive watery soup like tasteless liquid but I was kind of deceived

disappointing- having had recommendation long wanted to visit but.. while some dishes were tasty the food was not of consistent quality, portions were on small side for price, food did not arrive together for a party of six so done finished before others began, service was very patchy and overall the place felt a little chilly and tired. Stroud Green alternatives offer much more attentive service, cozier brighter atmosphere and better value.

It was not an enjoyable dining experience. The menu is quite overpriced for the low-quality food. It needs a lot of improvement. The food was greasy and overly sweet. Staff is attentive.
