ZappZaa Thai Cafe in Haringey

Unfortunately, this lovely neighbourhood gem has closed down permanently. The wonderfully tasty food and warm family atmosphere are much missed.

I went with friends who had been before and enjoyed it, in particular the warm welcome from the lady who owns it. Unfortunately this lady was on holiday in Malaysia last night and I hope would have been appalled by our experience. The service was brisk but unfriendly, and the food - well, the vegetarian nasi goreng was plain boiled rice with a few barely-defrosted frozen mixed vegetables. It had not been anywhere near any spices and had not been fried. My main dish was similarly uninspired. And we ate this travesty of a meal in a cold restaurant with, unaccountably, a Mozart string trio being relayed at ear splitting volume. Definitely not impressed.

Somosa tasted really nice, just wished they were crisper. Lamb rogan josh flavoured nicely, loved the mango lassi too. Overall really good

Had a delicious dinner here! We loved Tootoomoo so much we went to two different locations while in London. The cocktails were all great and the food hit the spot. It’s not the cheapest dinner out but you’ll get a quality meal and experience. We had to wait about 30 minutes here on a Friday night for a table

One of my two favourite Indian restaurants, the other being Yatri in King's Cross. The food at Bengal Bertie's is simply amazing AND for London reasonably priced! Love this restaurant!
