Tomo Pizzeria in Haringey

What a treat. A warm and welcoming pizzaria that can't do enough to make your dining experience a wonderful one. Enjoyed Eva spiralised courgette dish in a lush, flavourful tomato sauce with asparagus tips and other treasures. The pizza is also amazing. Did not miss fake cheese with beautiful tomato sauce and flavourful Friarielli (rapini) greens. Delicious and highly recommended.

Early dinner on a Saturday - in time for the fixed price menu. Great selection and delicious food. Friendly welcome and attentive service. Good to be back!

Great food, friendly service and really good value for money!

We have been a regular here and always enjoy the food but the service has become disappointing with very long wait times to receive food regardless of whether the restaurant is full or not.

We have a lovely evening and enjoyed some fresh Italian cuisine

Tomo is an excellent local gem. I love taking friends there. The service is good, and quick. They made three (yes, three) changes to my booking without complaint! The food is very tasty. Portion sizes a little odd. Sea Bass and veggies, not much fish. Chicken escalope and spaghetti, absolutely huge portion of pasta! Enough for two. Delicious, though. And great cocktails. The restaurant has a buzz, without being too noisy. Unfortunately, it is quite cold. If you go in the winter, wear layers! Still recommended for good service and reliably tasty food.

We are always coming to Tomo to celebrate birthdays and yesterday we did exactly that. Everything was brilliant as usual and only pointed out that the lamb we ordered was a bit undercooked but still fine to eat. They promptly offered to do it again but we said not to bother as it was still fine and the rest of the food was brilliant as usual and plenty. They removed it from the bill with was a really nice gesture and didn’t charge for a Prosecco glass for the birthday girl. We are really happy always with Tomo, good food, excellent service and always nice gestures with their customers. Keep the hard work!

I've eaten at Tomo several times and it's always a good experience. The sea bass is my favourite dish. My friend had chicken escalope with spaghetti pomodoro - delicious but the portion of pasta was HUGE (even for someone who was hungry). She had to leave most of it. The cocktails were delicious. Staff were nice in the main, except for one woman who (when my friend bumped into her accidentally and apologised) was unnecessarily rude (didn't smile, just gave her a dirty look and walked off). The same woman wordless pointed to the toilet door when I asked where it was. A smile is surely the bare minimum for service staff. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was having a bad night, and will still be back at Tomo's.

We keep coming back, because the food is always good.

My partner and I live locally to this restaurant and go very frequently. The food is great, the prices so reasonable, the staff are very friendly and it just has a really nice atmosphere. Also the cheesecake is absolutely delicious, you have to try it! Would recommend for sure, one of the best restaurants in Hornsey/Crouch End.

Tomo has some of the best Italian food in London from pasta to incredible Pizzas you cannot do better. Great staff always a smile and happy to help with recommendations. By the way a great wine list as well that represents value for money

We stumbled across Tomo after a google search for somewhere to eat after a show at the Ally Pally, and what a find!! Fabulous food, very reasonably priced, great portion sizes and amazing staff, I would happily return if ever in the area again.

Love this place. Made a last minute reservation, my family were stuck in traffic so very late, but no trouble for the staff. Delicious food, lovely wine. Great for kids and never feel rushed.

We have been coming to Tomo for the last 5-6 years, not once we have been left disappointed or thinking we should go to another Italian place ( plenty of them in the area). Tomo staff it’s always friendly, helpful, they know your seating preferences, they acknowledge you as a regular guest, basically make you feel welcome always!. The food is just fantastic, simple but tasty, good portions and fresh ingredients, honestly, if your are looking for a family friendly, good home made Italian food, that’s it, you won’t be disappointed. Forgot to mention, it’s affordable too!

Finally I found real Italian pizza exactly as I remember it when I was at uni in Italy . The risotto was very tasty and al dente as it should be . The only part I didn’t like was the triglia fillets . Understandably we are in London and getting fresh Mediterranean triglia is not an easy task . Tagliatelle with Tartufo really generous portion and genuine taste although saltier for my palate. Overall it was 9/10 Italian night . Will come back for sure

A great little find. We were delayed because of traffic issues so telephoned with our apologies which were graciously received. When we did arrive we were nicely greeted, attended to swiftly. Food was very tasty and at great value. It was a busy little venue which us always reassuring. Overall, very pleased.

16/11/2023: I can’t begin to explain, how amazing the food was. We ordered a variety of dishes of the menu and we had no complaints. The garlic bread starter was delicious and the Olives, just wow! The team catered for the kids and they were so happy to see their bunny shaped pizzas. The mains were nothing but spectacular, I had the pasta dish with the black olives with a small side plate of mozzarella and it was impeccable. I don’t think we could’ve have had a better night with great food. Thank you to the team, we are so happy!

Brilliant as usual. Can not fault this place, the hidden gem of North London

Adam and Ewa are wonderful and I think Tomo is rightly lauded for its delicious food, which is consistently excellent. But it falls apart in terms of service. The service is slow, mistakes are made quite frequently, glasses are not cleared away when drinks are finished, long waits between courses sometimes and the list goes on. And this has been my experience every time, sadly. If you are happy to deal with the service levels, I still recommend a meal here for the food. Sadly, I won't be rushing back as I can't cope with long waits and inconsistent service due to current health issues.

Lovely food with a really good selection of starters and mains. The early evening set menu is particularly good value. Recommend the Calamari and courgette starter and the main of pollo Milanese - both delicious. Portions are huge also ! Very good attentive service too.

This place is our hidden little gem. The food is phenomenal, service is impeccable and the prices are amazing. One of the best places in the area, well in fact in london. Love everything about this restaurant. I almost want to keep this place to ourselves but it feels like a sin not sharing it with others!

This is out favourite local Italian restaurant. Service always with a smile. Food quality and portions are good. Early bird special is really good value I could eat Melanzana parmigiana and pollo Milanese- every day if the week. Book a table so as not to be disappointed!!

We have seen this restaurant for year but never used it until yesterday. Why ? No idea we were very impressed with the food. It was delicious and generous. We will be there again!

That’s where we go if we fancy some good Italian food for a reasonable price! The prawns starter with homemade bisque was extraordinary! As well as the octopus salad and the mussels. Their cucumber water is a really nice touch and keeps you hydrated between your aperol spritzes. And the service is great too!

Busy Friday night. Lovely kind & attentive servers. Great food cooked perfectly in good time. The only downside is the noise makes it difficult to chat & the constant delivery drivers knocking on the window. I guess this is what you have to put up with for food this good!

My wife and I ate at TOMO several times during our stay in the UK and it was our favourite restaurant in the Hornsey and Muswell Hill area. All our meals were delicious from their special 'PIZZA LUCIA' to the very tasty Seafood Soup 'ZUPPA di PESCE' and their superb Ribeye Steak 'BISTECCA DIANA'. Even their Jugs of water are something different with the addition of refreshing strips of cucumber. Their desserts were also to die for. I guarantee that as the line goes in the Godfather you wont 'Leave the Canoli' (CANOLO SICILIANO).
