A really good find in W12. Modern and airy with excellent coffee and a really nice menu of simple food done well. Alex, the general manager was really cheerful and clearly cares about her establishment. I will be going back when I am in the area. Wifi was good too so I could work as well.

I came here with my friend and was very surprised how lovely it was the decor was very nice the staff were lovely and very friendly so happy I came here love what they did with the menu it was superb, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new. I had one cocktail it was so nice, would like to try more. The food was so filling I couldn't even eat a desert, I will definitely be coming back though keep up the good work

I have to say I really didnât want to have to write this review as Iâve loved the cafe for a while now, so much so that it was my absolute first choice to have my birthday brunch! I booked months in advance and was very organised with pre orders/ sending spreadsheets ahead of time however when we arrived with my cake we were told there was a ÂŁ20 fee for this (I was quite frustrated this hadnât been mentioned in all of the planning) but I said that weâd pay, just suggested it should be listed somewhere before. My friend saw I was upset from this and raised the query to the team that legally this policy should be written somewhere and it put us in an awkward position, (but we were still going to pay). Us and the staff team were all fine, and Lisa the amazing manager double checked if we still wanted the cake and we agreed again with smiles- all was well until⌠The owners came to the table asking to speak with me. They took me outside (the other side of a glass wall my entire party were watching through) and were very hostile in stating that we were ârefusing to pay and threatening lawyers!â I assured that was not the case and calmly re explained the situation and that we were happy to pay (which Lisa confirmed) but they were very argumentative and patronising. I suggested that it be mentioned or listed somewhere that this was a policy and they do cakes (which they said was on their website but myself and my friends still canât find this) and I was scoffed at. I had been pulled away from my party on my birthday to be belittled and made to feel silly in front of all of my friends. It was such a shame as I was so excited to take all of my friends to my favourite spot, and in every fairness every other part of the experience was lovely but I felt I really couldnât defend this treatment. My hesitation to go back is just the treatment I would get again. Iâd also like to add that Lisa the manager offered to take on the fee which was over and above from her and felt a welcome ray of kindness in this situation- so thank you for that!! A very mixed review but I thought (as they donât deem it necessary) I should make a public PSA of these rules.

Poor quality of food. Lack of staff to actually provide good service. Very inconvenient when you are trying to have a quick bite before work or during your lunch. Never again. I would rather spend my money on Gail's. To add to this, since the change in ownership, the quality of the food has noticeably declined. The baked goods no longer have the same level of care and craftsmanship that made them stand out under the previous owner. The croissants, in particular, lack the rich, buttery taste they once had and now have an artificial flavour. When I raised my concerns in person, the explanation I received felt dismissive rather than reassuring. While technical details like layering matter, the most important thing is the overall taste and quality. That being said, the two staff members working there are absolutely lovely and provide great service, but they seem to be understaffed. I truly hope the new owner takes customer feedback seriously and makes improvements, as this bakery has the potential to regain its former excellence.
