this is a gem of a cafe/restaurant very relaxed and friendly and great value for money it's a mixture of caribbean and british food i normally have the jerk chicken and my wife the meatballs it's always great . what i really like is that most jerk places are more take away based where this is a great place to chill out with a nice coffee or a cold beer .

The service was wonderful, the food delicious and the coffee fantastic. What an absolute diamond of a cafe. Finally somewhere with a bit of personality. This is not that close to where I live but I’ll be making the effort to come again as it was so perfect!

I came here for lunch not knowing what to expect. The old lady who served me doesn’t really speak English (only Portuguese) but she was very friendly. I ordered the grilled prawns starter and asked whether I could add on rice to go with it (with the help of google translate) as the other mains seem too filling for me. The portion turned out to be massive (over 10 med-big size prawns) and made a proper lunch. I was a little worried I would be over charged but it only cost £15. For the number of prawns given, I think it’s very value for money. The food was cooked fresh and was very delicious. Although I wouldn’t recommend the latte. Don’t judge this cafe by its looks. I’ll definitely people to try out this cafe.

I have been a customer for over 20years. Last night I was treated very badly by your security staff. My three friends and I had spent a considerable amount at the bar, despite not being, and I am clear about this, in any way too drunk or disorderly. I was accused of being too drunk to stay in the bar and that I get my coat and leave. I am most aggrieved as I was not abusive or too intoxicated by any means to be in what is a night club. I can certainly understand if a customer is falling down or being abusive etc but I was neither of these. Nor was I taking drugs or fooling around in the toilets. It is a great shame that a place like the Two Brewers chooses to treat long term customers in this way. I am a local and a long term customer. This is not the way to treat customers. Perhaps you need to think about whom you employ at your venue. Also just to add the door man insisted I show my ID. I am 51. This is not America. What are you playing at? Perhaps you don’t value loyal customers or are becoming ageist. One star.
