Adwoa's Kitchen Ghanaian Restaurant in Croydon

The place is not well ventilated so we decided to rather opt for take-out and eat in a friend's house nearby. The yam and spinach stew was so nice. But the fish that was added to the waakye and kenkey we bought was rotten and smelly. We all lost appetite after the bad odour that was coming off the fish. I tried to contact them on the number seen on their post to register my displeasure only to find out the number is wrong

I went there for some Jollof December 2024. Very impressed. The food was a lot and it tasted so good. Worth my money and journey

First time and last time. Some drunken idiot shouting so loud we had to wait outside for our food. If you don't care about customer service and atmosphere then this is the place to go

Purchased Waakye, it so not original, the rice was over cooked, very starchy. The stew was not tasty, it was peppery. The rice was fine, wasted £13. The jollof was not tasty at all. Hygiene is not great, cooked fish was left on a tray in the open air. The best thing is the friendly staff

I would definitely go again. Everyone was welcoming and warm. The food was really good as usual. I could feel family atmosphere. The price was alittle high but to be honest it was worth it.

Amazing experience I was greeted by the owner with a smile and positive energy we laughed and spoke about her food. The food is amazing, Ive attached a pic so you guys can see the madness. The good taste like home cooking Eva is lovely and it reflects in her cooking. Relaxing atmosphere. Please guys visit you won’t be disappointed.

Very simple decor but a wide range of delicious Ghanaian dishes. I had Banku and Tilapia, which was yummy! but I could smell the Okro stew...that's what I will have next time...will definitely go again!
