What a find! Don’t be put off with the location or that it looks small. It is a great place.
Staff always friendly, attentive, and the food is amazing!
Skewered beef is beautiful, tender, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. Grilled squid was lovely. Octopus rice was a hit and the seafood spaghetti gave food envy it had so much seafood in it.
Great prices too.
Visit every time we are at LHR for work and always remembered when we book.
A must for anyone who wants great Portuguese food home cooked and fresh.
I really like this Indian restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. We tried two special Thalis: Seafood Thali and Non-Vegetarian Thali.
The Seafood Thali was amazing. The Fish Recheado, grilled sea bass with Goan spices, was flavorful and juicy, absorbing the rich spices during grilling. The Fish Curry was delicious and paired well with Saag Paneer, Dal Tadka, steamed rice, Raita, and Paratha. Each bite was a burst of flavors. For dessert, we had Anjeer Kheer, a sweet and smooth fig rice pudding.
The Non-Vegetarian Thali was also delightful. It came with chicken served with fresh Kachumber salad and mint chutney, adding a refreshing taste. The Chicken Tikka Masala had tender chicken chunks in a spicy tomato sauce, pairing nicely with Saag Paneer, spiced lentils, steamed rice, Raita, and Paratha. Dessert was again Anjeer Kheer.
The drinks were excellent too. I recommend the Mango and Date Lassi, a sweet treat that was especially enjoyable after my recent trip to Egypt, where these fruits are common. Each lunch Thali costs just over £20, which is quite reasonable for Mayfair. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience tasty Indian cuisine.

Lived around Clapham Junction for a couple years but R Place is hands down the place to come for fun cocktails. Staff are super friendly and accommodating and the drinks menu is as good as it gets!!
Very quiet at Friday lunchtime, we were the only ones until a loud vegan arrived, and unfortunately continued to yell about her veganism religion throughout the remainder of our meal.
We had our usual at Persian restaurants: koobideh (minced lamb grilled on skewers) with their moreish garlic naan and the chicken (with bones) and rice. Our first visit but not our last.
Perhaps it depends on who is on shift that day. Customer service was very poor, she seemed more interested in chatting to her friends already having their coffee rather than serving a new customer. No sense of meet and greet or building up a good customer base. From the outside it's difficult to work out what the place is exacly - a wine bar? coffee bar? cafe? I tried it because I had an appointment nearby and thought I might be pleasantly surprised. Apart from a cake under a plastic lid, there were no signs of sandwiches or rolls etc. (to go with the coffee). Wasn't sure if I should ask but did, to be told rather bluntly "There's a menu". Silly me, yes there was one paper menu somewhere near the counter, so I ordered a sandwich. I'm not surprised there was only one other customer in there the whole time I was there.

Quite disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I must report that my family and I had a very negative experience.
Firstly, we ordered a fast food meal that was supposed to include sausages, but unfortunately these were missing from our order. Secondly, and perhaps more concerning, my children became quite ill after eating the food that was served to us.
Not recommend

Going here was a big mistake,
Blaze N Hades Burger:
The burger meat was horrible and smelly , I really dislike wasting food but I was not able to push it down so had to leave it. Very poor Quality,
Strawberry shake:
No real strawberries,
It seemed was drinking oil,
The cream one is definitely not fresh and smelly.
They probably used some cheap ice cream.
On the menu, it says that the sake is made with fresh strawberries and strawberry gelato, but this is probably the biggest scam in the history of shakes, I could not drink it.
I paid £16.74 for this meal, not worth a penny
