We visited the restaurant mid week. It is a small joint as others say, with tables crammed in. The team are also very slick so our turn around was barely over an hour, which is disappointing when you’re spending £100+.
That said the food was stunning. I never order steak out as most places cannot serve it well but seeing bavette on the menu (which is what I cook at home) I went for it.
It was AMAZING! Great food 🤩
Overall taste - B, the eel rice dish - C. Been there occasionally over 8 years. Better concentrate on the quality to one main dish. Funny. Udon with their name is the weakest dish here.
An absolutely love experience, from the service to the good, it was fantastic. Walked out feeling satisfied and thinking about the next time I want to go. The tofu coconut soup was by far my favourite. So flavourful
This pizza chain is brilliant. Having eaten at the Aldgate branch in Sept 2024, my friend & I ate at the Hoxton branch a couple of days ago (Fri evening).
The concept is fab - a crispy & delicious base with equally delicious toppings to be picked according to their menu - which one can have with a beer & an ice-cream (to lift the palate after) - all for well under £20. And add cheerful service to the mix for a very reasonably priced & most enjoyable supper indeed.
The only thing I missed this visit was the v nice chilli oil on each of the tables (to dip pieces of the crust in). However, there was good olive oil to do do the dipping & devouring, so that was OK. Keep up the excellent quality!
