The guy serving us seemed quite hesitant, as though he didnt know what he was doing. After ordering 3 heineken, then seeing someone nip next door to the coop for them, ill admit we were apprehensive. However, the food arrived and it was fantastic. The half chicken was given a marinade that didn't overpower the taste of the meat, and the bbq ribs had just enough of a kick that me (a none spicy food guy) ate the lot without complaint. We were even treated to a sample of plantain (something none of us had eaten as a savoury) and it was great. Will definately visit again when we are in the area

Went here not really knowing what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the service was second to none. Food was tasty with good sized portions and cooked perfectly. Will go again when in this area.

This was my first introduction to Nigerian food. It was delicious, my friend who also came loved it too said it was her new favourite ! The staff were extremely friendly and the service was great. I'm new to the area and I will definitely be returning and bringing more friends! Highly recommend; they are also doing Eat Out to Help Out at the moment so we got our whole (huge) meal for 7 quid.

Went to Big Town restaurant in February with my husband and 2 kids. The kids loved it, the staff provided them with some colouring whilist they waited for their food. When the food arrived the presentation was lovely and the food was so delicious. We ordered the jollof rice with beef which the kids loved, it was an added bonus that the beef was pre cut into small pieces so it was perfect for them to eat. We also ordered the seafood platter and grilled tiger prawns with Jollof. The service was top class, friendly staff and very helpful and attentive. The ambience was great. l wish we were local, we live in East London but was worth the travel - will be visiting again soon!

Last time I went to Big Town was just before lockdown. Bought beef Suya and Tiger Prawns on a bed of Noodles. Finished off with cold Palm Wine. Fantastic. Coming back with friends after further ease of the lockdown for this diverse taste of Naija meets the rest of the world and enjoy the ambience of the place.

I ordered a whole chicken, the Tilapia Meal, two portions of jollof rice with diced beef and a portion of plaintain for delivery. The portions were of a good size, value for money. I loved the branding on the bag and the presentation when the food arrives. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The chicken was succulent and full of flavour. I could not believe the size of the fish,it was extremely meaty and well seasoned. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and cannot wait for the restrictions of lock down to lift so I can visit the restaurant as I hear the ambience and service is 110%.

I visited Big Town Restaurants in the first few weeks of it opening and ordered my favourite lamb suya, jollof rice and plantain. It was absolutely delicious and I have been going back regularly ever since. The place is lovely with nice warm decor and the staff are very polite. If you like African food, in particular Nigerian then go along or rather order online and experience the delicious African cuisine.

This place is great! Really great food for a great price. We always get one meat, one vegetable (the only menu choices) and they're always made to perfection.

Now I do not claime to know anything about Ethiopian food, so thought the best way was to try some. What I had was a good mixture of flavours on one plate. Hot, a little spicy, and different textures.
