I was looking for somewhere local to eat and came across this place.
I set out confidently heading to Peckham, an area I thought I knew well.
I actually got lost in Peckham looking for this site and had to call the owner many times who was extremely accommodating for directions.
The food
I ordered the extra large platter
Presentation was on point and the food was excellent
Steak cooked to perfection, the ribs melted in my mouth chicken delicious, lamb cutlets, chorizo, fries and salad all very good.
Actually the fries were the best I have had for a while.
This was a very good experience and I will definitely return very soon
Went to this place with a work friend and we both loved it and agreed that this was an excellent new find. See he beat me to a review!
Food was excellent and the flavors were too good.
Try the tropical naga if you like hot or the BBQ.
I popped in when I missed a train from Anerly station and it was lovely! I look forward to going back for an evening as you could tell this will be a memorable place to spend the evening, thank you for creating it!
Whicker touring the Yorkshire Dales, we visited Richmond. This was a lovely busy little town with lots of shops and an indoor market. Everywhere seemed dog friendly.
Absolutely amazing little coffee shop. I had a piece of the apple cake and an oat milk latte, and I can say I was not disappointed. It was well priced and tasted fresh! Please go if you’re in the local area! Absolutely amazing :)
This is a real gem. We have visited there three times this year and never been disappointed. The food is always hot, fresh and a good portion size. Everything is perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff are very friendly and take- always seem to be their main customer base. They only have a few tables, but we have always managed to get a spot. Looking forward to our next visit.
We three gluttoneers invaded this brilliant eatery on Sunday just gone. We were greeted and shown to our table. The decor remains unchanged: light colours and tiles with romantic lighting. However, they had the Christmas decs up, and it gave a sparkle and a sense of the festive spirit. Great. The background music was at the right decibel level and set the mood. Armed with a couple of Aperol Spritz and the hum of other diners already there, we made our selection from quite a varied menu, especially when you include their specials' board. Our starters comprised of Shetland Mussels in a cream Pernod sauce; Mango al Granchio; and Gamberoni Nino's: all were perfectly prepared and full of flavour. For our mains, two of us went for the Halibut off their specials' board, and one went for the Spaghetti Marinara; the taste was sublime. This was baptised with an Orvieto: an Italian white with a hint of sweetnes - fantastico. We were too full for dessert and concluded this culinary perfection with a lemon tea, black Americano, a Cappuccino, two black Sambucas, and a Tia Maria - plus complimentary ones! Grazie mille. Not only that, we were given a bottle gift. Our thanks to all at Nino's for the friendship, chat, laughter that always elevates our dining experience to the stratosphere. Our compliments to their talented chefs for the gastronomic extravaganza. If we don't see you before Christmas, Buon Natale and keep happy. Ciao.
The Galettes are absolutely fantastic, as are the wines and coffee. A great place to relax and have a chat with the owner. Absolutely spot on in every way!
