Un pequeño gran lugar de comida callejera china en Peckham, dirigido por un fantástico equipo de esposa y esposo. Son tan felices, encantadores y divertidos. Estoy muy feliz de darles mi dinero para mis golosinas a la hora del almuerzo. Pero este 'chino' viene con una diferencia y eso es algo muy interesante en el menú. En primer lugar, soy adicto a la increíble sopa Chong Qing Hot Sour Spicy Noodle. Intenso no es la palabra. También se toman muy en serio la comida. Un día no tenía fideos de frijol mungo ("más duro") y tuve que discutir mucho para que me lo hiciera con fideos de arroz. Muy gracioso ("¡no será bueno, no será bueno!" ... lo fue) Para ser sincero, no he probado mucho más pero tuve el calamar frito que estaba delicioso. La gente viene aquí por la oferta de bollos al vapor, pero también me gusta hablar con ellos. La 'Reina' tiene un gran sentido del humor. Te darán 10 p de descuento si también traes tu propio contenedor. Recomiendo este lugar muy altamente.

Yo "descubrí" Steamer hace aproximadamente un año, pero no fue hasta ayer (cuando tuve algunos fideos allí) que pensé "Estos chicos deberían estar en Trip Advisor, su comida es increíble y ¡son encantadores! ’ En primer lugar, recomiendo profundamente sus fideos, ya sea con gambas, pollo o pato asado, no importa, todos están deliciosos. En segundo lugar están los bollos. ¡Oh Dios mío los bollos! Tuve los de cerdo y eran simplemente perfectos. Si estás cerca de Peckham, te falta dinero y quieres una comida sabrosa, visita Steamer, que está justo afuera de la estación de Peckham Rye. Pero si tienes mucho dinero, visítalos y prueba todo lo que puedas.

My family and I were looking for a good Chinese food place and this was rated 4.5 but we weren’t impressed at all. The noodles tasted burnt probably due to the pans being burnt. Nice people but food wasn’t that great.

5 Clayton RoadWanted a Chinese for our last night in UK, before returning to the USA. Based on reviews we took an Uber from our airport hotel, having called ahead to reserve a table (something you should do). This place gets busy ! The speed of our service suffered due to this, but we didn’t have time constraints. BIG DIFFERENCE !!! The entree dishes are small, but are priced fairly. You could easily order 3 or 4 for 2 people. Our duck with pancakes was very good, as was my special chop suey (not a lot of protein content), but my wifes chow mein, while tasty, was very dry. When questioned the server said this was their normal style and sauce could be added by ordering a ‘special’ chow mein. A few tweaks here and there and this could be an excellent Chinese.

32 Curlew StHot & Sour Soup: weird taste. Fried Soft Noodle with Prawn: Big Portion but tasteless and dry. Crispy Fried Prawns with Spicy salt and chili: tasteless and not spicy. Crispy fried shredded beef with chili: it was the most disappointing dish. No hint of spiciness but very sweet. Despite asking the waiter (not friendly at all) to prepare everything spicy.

31 St. Thomas StreetFood was great, I come here regularly but as we had a private dining suite the waiter was dedicated to our booth but was not around most of the time. I understand there is other tasks to do but management have to ensure this is met at all times. The waiter was great, smiley and polite but the management of Hutongs structure needed to be tweaked but overall 5 stars. Fresh food and cocktails ⭐️
