The best restaurants in Gunton and Corton Waveney East of England

Booked a table here for 16 people and they certainly made sure we had a lovely meal and afternoon. Although there was so many of us the food came out all together and was hot and tasty. The quality of the roast I had was very high and the sides of Cauliflower cheese was amazing. I followed that with a sticky toffee pudding sundae which was lush too. Also had two cocktails while I was there and they were sooooo nice. Staff all lovely and friendly and remembered us from a previous visit which is always lovely. Excellent Chef who as I mentioned worked hard to accommodate us all. Thank you to all concerned for a lovely meal and afternoon 🥰

We had a lovely meal at The potters Kiln Harvester (Lowestoft) food was amazing but more importantly the customer service incredible. Hayley Ann was friendly and helpful, We will be back again

After 2 other pubs knocked us back, The White Horse happily accommodated our party of 7 at short notice on Easter Sunday. In all honesty, I'm glad those other pubs couldn't help. The White Horse is a proper hidden gem as far as I'm concerned. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere in the pub was great and the Sunday roast was out of this world. An all round fantastic pub that I wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Went with organised coach party, chalets were nice and clean, well maintained. Food in fantastic restaurant was five star. Nightly entertainment let it down a bit. Resident band lacked umph. Singer was ok but every song sounded the same due to one level vocals, band were the Muppets but lacked any personality. Guest singer was good and comedian was brilliant. Overall a good week but people like a great week.

Popped in for light bite, opted for the sharing small plates. Food was quick and delicious . Robert who served us, was welcoming and friendly.

I went there today and became upset. The girl behind counter was amazing. Dark hair in pony tail. Northern accent maybe. She is an absolute credit and deserves recognition
