Brilliant pub. I don't like the Cricketers I love it! Friendly staff behind the well stocked bar, being a Yorkshireman I was pleased to see the Timmy Tailors Landlord. Both the evening meal and breakfast where delicious.

Tried to refuse to serve tap water.

Food wasn’t bad but was pretty cold by the time it got to us.

Great for a meal with friends and family. Dog friendly and an extensive menu with everything made from scratch. Blends old favourites with adventurous dishes. A real find

Best roast dinner i’ve had in years! Went with family who live near by and we absolutley loved it! We will be back for sure! I had the Lamb Rump Roast and it was incredible!

I come here often with friends & family and is without a doubt my favourite spot in Saffron Walden! The setting is gorgeous - even better since the recent terrace extension. And the food is always exceptional - great selection of cakes & Pastries and delicious lunch / brunch! We always get such a warm welcome and the owners & staff are super accommodating to our two young children! Looking forward to lots of weekends spent drinking coffee & eating cake on the terrace here this summer!
