Excellent Sunday lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday . Roast mutton , unusual choice but very, very tasty , with all the trimmings. Great service and atmosphere , with a cracking wood fire on a wet afternoon .

George and Sam served us last night, they were brilliant, attentive, professional, friendly and made the whole experience fun. Sadly this restaurant is closing down this weekend to make way for a new development. We wish all the team well.

Reveived a very warm welcome with the mulled wine. Eight of us for a friends birthday had a great night with excellent service and fabulous food. Personal favorite was the vegan coconut milk rice pudding with rum infused sultanas.
