The Crown is a proper pub, the landlord and lady are excellent hosts, the selection of Ales are varied and changed on a regular baises to provide a great selection. They provide function availability and the home cooked prepared food is execellent. The prices are great and its a friendly place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I would recomend it to every one. I'm a regular here and the food here is top notch. The store is clean and well maintained with the Chinese lady there cleaning the counter whenever the business slows down. Moreover, the service here is quick.

Lovely set meal for 1 and they let me change it from what was listed I had Sweet and sour chicken balls Chicken chop suey Egg fried rice Only charged and extra 30p to change it. The price was £6.40 after alterations

Bread must have been out all day, as upon first bite, it crumbled to dust. Veggie patties are bogging and therefore vaguely nauseating. Claimed no discount available, even though it is in every subway. Just a bit pants and I managed half a sandwich before being defeated.
