Visited Saturday night and had another excellent meal. This is our go to favourite for a curry. The food is fresh and the service friendly. Highly recommend

First time in the area and had a delicious Sunday Roast at a very reasonable price. It was beautifully presented and service excellent. There is a wide selection of good pub food on offer . The building itself needs a bit of tlc but the landlords are doing what village pubs should do . Great atmosphere too .

New to the area, I decided to call in & grab a coffee & bite to eat. All the cakes looked amazing. I said, “good morning” to the lady as I entered & she completely ignored me, I wasn’t sure if she’d heard me or not! I asked for a coffee & she asked if I wanted to “take it away” I confirmed that I did & that was the total dialogue I received. No smile or acknowledgement. I paid for my drink, thanked her & left. Rude & hostile service, I won’t be going back!

Cracking place, cracking atmosphere, but the battered Haggis and the Battered Hallomi was FANTASTIC! It tasted so nice.....

Stomach ripped apart after a week of visiting here.
