The best restaurants in Priory King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

We love cycling here for tea and cake as always a great selection and a warm welcome. Today, although a bit nippy, the sun was shining so we still sat outside and enjoyed a yummy cheese scone and a moist piece of carrot cake. Shame it closes in 2 weeks for the winter. 🙁

Lamb chops for diner. Great mint gravy, veg and mash. Very tasty and plenty of food.

The service was good and the food was nice enough but way overpriced, even before the ‘optional’ 12.5% service charge had been added. £41.00 for two coffees, two sandwiches and a takeaway flapjack !! Steep !!

Good fish and chips are not easy to get right but this place manages that. The fish was good and without too much batter and the chips were some of the best we have eaten for a while.

We called in here for Sunday lunch on the way past. We didn’t think we would get a table but they got us in straight away without fuss even though they were busy. We were sat at a nice table in the corner, served immediately with drinks and left to peruse the menu. We had the full three courses which included Sunday lunch. Food was very good. Wholesome traditional pub food. Hot, tasty and plenty of it. Portions are very generous. Sunday roast was so good. It included cauliflower cheese which is usually an extra. I had Turkey and my wife had Pork. Meat was fantastic. Lean and cooked well. My wife had wine and it was chilled wonderfully. All in all it was a wonderful experience we would heartily recommend this pub.

Lovely, friendly welcome for us & our three dogs. Very decent coffee & delicious baguette with freshly cooked chips & generous fresh salad. I would happily return
