Expensive for some rice. Sushi is not raw fish as some think. Raw fish has to be very fresh and only exists near fishing parts. Sushi just means sticky rice and you pay a lot of money for something that's very cheap.

Ordered ramen from here the past 2 Fridays and it’s just amazing so delicious. My new favourite takeaway worth every penny and comes to your door quickly and still warm. Takeaways in Runcorn can’t accomplish that and they’re closer

Went here because there were no free tables at Zumuku Liverpool and called a bit earlier to reserve a table. We waited for the food for about an hour after arriving, although delivery drivers would come and go every 3 minutes. The restaurant was extremely EXTREMELY cold and turns out there isn’t even a bathroom, which is not noted anywhere. The food was alright, though a bit underwhelming in comparison to Zumuku Liverpool.

Just had tea here for date night. Not what I remember Zumuku being. Never been to this one but not up to the same standard as others I have been to in the past. For starters if you dine in please wear extra layers, it is uncomfortably cold in there and felt like I was sat in the front window of a high street takeaway…. Secondly the food was meh. We love Japanese and sushi food but it just felt like warmed up in a microwave none fresh food. Finally the service was just not great. Long wait no times and then food being delivered to the wrong tables over and over again (there’s only like 4 tables in there to begin with). For the price I am actually disappointed! Will be looking elsewhere for my Japanese food fix.

Delicious, fresh food! Popped in for lunch with a friend and we were both absolutely made up. The katsu, sushi and ramen were beautiful. We finished with some mochi ice cream for dessert, which was super tasty and nicely presented. The service was quick and friendly too. The new management has definitely made a difference, it’s a big improvement to what the food was like there previously. I’d be stopping by again for sure!

Clean, modern place with excellent, colourful, on theme artwork across the counter. Friendly, efficient staff happy to help with ordering. Zumu Seafood Special with Udon: Big portion size, lots of seafood, lots of vegetables all liberally coated in sauce. Very flavourful with good depth and texture variety. Beef Teriyaki Ramen with Shoyu Broth: Broth was quite oily, but tasty and umami. The beef was tough, but the noodles had a good al dente texture, the vegetables had a nice crunch , the fish cake was very good and the egg was perfect. However, the packaging was abysmal! Why put broth in a paper cup with a paper lid in paper bags? Obviously it leaked and soaked through its paper bag and the larger paper bag it shared with the ramen bowl,  so the main bag dropped my ramen onto the floor (upside-down and lid-less) with the broth bag, thankfully, barely hanging on. Fortunately the ramen was salvageable and I only lost about a third of the broth. Probably not a common occurrence , but I don’t think liquids should be packaged in paper.

The size is much smaller than regular sushi, and the quality has deteriorated. I won't be visiting again.

Ordered a sushi platter for my partners birthday and asked them to put happy birthday on it; the team went above and beyond leaving a little message on there too! Every time we order it’s always amazing!!!

As you can see in the photo, Some sushi, like the cucumber one, had been refrigerated, and the rice had hardened, which was unacceptable for a Japanese restaurant.

I got the beef teriyaki and the beef was so chewy I didn’t eat it just had the rice and took the beef home for the dog probably won’t be going back

AVOID!!AVOID!!AVOID!!AVOID!! This one is absolutely a joke. Everyone should avoid!! Regardless discount. This review basically is a follow up on the World Sushi Day with the 50%off. We pre order it online and fully paid, but when we arrived to pick up the food, they then told us, they could not provided any food as way too many people on the same time. And promised will keep the same deal on the other day and also another 50% off on the next visit. That’s fine we understand they may not aware on the volume could bring in with the discount even though this is showing a very poor management and marketing. We let it go and ask for rescheduled our order till four days later. And what we got is an off Sashimi, even the colour is changed. We called up and the staff agreed and refund back to us. We still haven’t posted anything or do any review, as not sure if we will coming back or do we actually care. But today is another shocking moment from this store. They emailed us a 50% voucher without any date on it. We came in to the store and the staff refused to honour the voucher they give out even though there no expiry date or what ever in the email. The staff said it have to be use in one month time and even the manager won’t accept this. I asked so that’s mean you refused to honour this apology discount without any expiry date on it? And staff said yes. Wow what a joke. First you put up a discount and you failed to fulfil the order, rescheduled the order give you a second chance, you failed again with the off products. Ok let go and not putting any negative feedback for you guys. And now third chance you guys still failed!! Wondering what is the management doing? If you not able to honour what you have offered simply don’t offer! If you didn’t offered us anything we won’t feel any disappointment, but you offered something 3 times and all failed! Sorry I have to say this is one of the worst business. I won’t order any food form you again and will definitely spread my words to everyone.

Pretty disappointed with the size of portion especially paying £40 for small palette of sushi. First and last time visit.

Googled for Ramen and this one popped up wich we was 10 minutes away from. Has seats inside to sit in or takeaway options. Service was Great and the Food was immaculate and so so tasty! 😋 so much to choose from and we can't wait too come back!! Don't Hesitate!

Far from the level of Hong Kong

Last time I was here, there weren't much seating and was more of take away. Now though there is a more comfortable vibe and more seats for meals. They were really busy with takeaways.. Food is good and price is decent enough. Basic seats and there were about maybe around 10 chairs available there. Only thing is that our orders took a long time to arrive, it took awhile but the taste of the food made up for it for me.

Not an amazing atmosphere but it’s a take away so … Best ramen I eat in UK. Very good sushi, had the same quality ordering home a few times. Highly highly recommended

This was the second time to order sushi. The first time was very good!! Taste and quality was good. However, this time the sushi rice was hard. Salmon was so so.

Ordered from here a couple of times and always had great food. Went and sat in for food and it was even better freshly made, the staff were so friendly and polite. Good vegetarian and pescatarian options on the menu also. Everything we ate we really enjoyed and we found it reasonably priced, so will definitely be back again :)

Absolutely amazing, easily the best salmon I've ever had and far cheaper than the second best I've ever had. Food was prepared quick even though they already had a full sushi platter to make for another table. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. Definitely coming back and I'd recommend anyone who sees this to visit if they can, even just a miso soup portion is 100% worth it

Place feels like a Japanese wannabe restaurant. Got food from here twice, once delivery katsu curry, once had ramen in the restaurant. Curry was underwhelming, have no idea you can manage to make tasteless curry, and tonkotsu ramen was just dreadful. It tasted like someone dropped a cube of wood into the pot of broth and left it there. It's just tasted wrong. Gyozas were decent, but the sauce they came with was also weird. As I said it feels like someone wanted to do Japanese food without knowing what it is.

Door locked and staff ignored us waiting at the door. Sign said open and hours on Google said it should have been open too. Food might be good but can't get in to find out 🤣

Went here on the weekend to eat in. Quite a funny place to have a restaurant like this but the food and service was excellent! Another real gem in Warrington! Picture attached was the Salmon Poke Bowl and we also had the chicken Katsu curry, would definitely recommend!

Regular at Sticks and sushi in Oxford, I would highly rate this place as almost as good, service was great the ladies looked after us, nice and quiet, Two of us destroyed a 40 piece sushi platter, then went on and had chips, chicken satay, chilli beans and gyoza. Highly recommend the service and freshly made food! Will be revising again.

Ordered on deliveroo last week, food was delicious and well prepared, today drove out to Warrington walked in and ordered food to take out asked for 2 asahi, 2 katsu curry chicken and 2 chicken gyoza, upon arriving home (12miles roundtrip) discovered that only 1 curry and 1 asahi was there, gyoza was not the same like last time, sauce was completely different, katsu curry barely had any salad with it - overall disappointed and when called wasn't offered a suitable resolution. So now my fiance and I share 1 katsu curry and 1 asahi. Will not be ordering again.

I had a very disappointing takeaway tonight. I am a fan of Zumuku Sushi, although it was my first time at the Warrington branch. The salmon bowl which is my favourite was ok, although the actual salmon was less in quantity compared to what I am used to from other Zumuku branches. However, the chicken in the teriyaki skewers was spoiled. I have no idea how it was sold like that, the spoiled chicken smell completely overpowered the teriyaki smell, there was no way to miss it the moment you opened the box :(

Ordered food for delivery from Zumuku - We didn't get all of our food delivered initially however they were very quick to resolve this, the lady I spoke to on the phone was quick to investigate and was keen to help. We received the rest of our order with some very nice freebies. We loved the sushi, and everything was very very tasty - The sushi tacos we received as a freebie was our favourite! We will definitely order again even if there was a little hiccup with delivery - Thank you for our meal! ☺️

Had takeaway delivered feom here. Ordered through deliveroo, but they use there own drivers. One main didn't arrive. The three sides were inedible, the gyoza was greasy and the pastry not full cooked. The chilli squid was just as greasy, so much so that I wouldn't even try it. My partner said the sushi was OK. Will stick to the excellence that is Wagamama.

We visited Zumuku in Warrington today, and we're still buzzing with excitement from our extraordinary experience. The flavours and the service exceeded all our expectations. We ordered the Salmon Poke bowl, Salmon/Avocado uramaki, and the Zumu Seafood Special — each dish was a delightful symphony of taste and presentation. The staff at Zumuku were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and polite, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. If someone says you can't buy happiness, don't believe them because you can - at Zumuku! The culinary journey we embarked on was nothing short of gorgeous ☺️

I bought total of 20 pieces of sushi rolls for £27. The quality does not reflect the price , the sushi are not delicious. For £27 I can have sushi with much higher quality. Very not authentic .

Ordered for delivery, but it was over an hour late. Stone cold by the time it arrived. Took 7 phone calls to the shop, who were very nice. However when it arrived It was obviously a new driver, and his story for being late didn't match what I was told on the phone.

Having eaten here before and loved it tonight’s meal was very disappointing the chilli squid 🦑 was not crispy at all and the portion size has changed (smaller) the kamikaze wings the sauce is not the same.The beef teriyaki was dry lack of sauce and tough 🥩 The yellow tail sushi rolls the worst I’ve had very untidy see picture no wasabi or soy sauce and for £55 very underwhelmed with the standard of food 🥘

Don’t get me wrong service was amazing so polite and quick with orders but I was so excited for my miso ramen because the broth looked so thick and creamy on there Facebook page but mine was so watery almost translucent there was no flavour to the broth at all I tried my mums she got the other flavour and that was also very very weak tasting, it wasn’t straight from a pan either because they poured it in with a jug, none of the flavour coated any of the noodles we came for my daughters birthday meal and left disappointed by the ramen 😔

I've been at Zumuku today with my husband. We were both very happy with all the food, finally a place where we can eat proper sushi. I've been disappointed at other places so many times, but I think I finally found my favourite sushi place. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back soon. 😊

Used this place for a takeaway for the first time and I was very impressed. Collected the food which was ready when promised and served by a couple of very friendly staff. Ordered duck gyoza, chicken Katsu curry and salmon teriyaki, all of which were hot, tasty with good portion sizes. Would recommend and will use again.

It is the best sushi restaurant I have eaten in Warrington in my opinion. The service attitude of the clerk is good, and it is very efficient whether it is take-out or delivery.

I travel ALOT for work and love food… This place is a hidden gem! Tops many of the mainstream places! Great flavoursome food, lovely staff and decently priced. Couldn’t count how many times I’ve eaten from here 10/10 every time.

Ordered takeout for dinner, variety of dishes including sashimi, I ate one piece and it was nice, the second was oddly mushy so I avoided eating anymore. Woke at 3am with the worst food poisoning of my life. Spent the next 24 hours being violently sick, unable to even keep a sip of water down. Vomiting at least every hour, in the end throwing up foam as there was nothing left in me and I was severely dehydrated. This meal landed me in hospital, on 2 lots of antisickness medicines, as I threw up the first oral set, and needed intravenous antisickness meds, a drip, and an overnight stay in hospital. It took me a week to feel normal again. Avoid!!!!

Friendly service and very good food and a bit too expensive for me ;) The service was nice, the food was very good. I can't say much about the atmosphere of the place - after all, it's a Takeway, not a restaurant. I went there after eating, so I got it ahead of time without any problems. A bit too expensive for me, but that's just my opinion because I earn the minimum wage.

I've ordered from Zumu three times now. The first time, I ordered sushi on Deliveroo. It said 90min wait, fair enough, at least I knew how long it would take. It arrived maybe 10min later than I expected, which is no drama - the food was beautiful. The second time, I ordered sushi on their app. It said an hour's wait but I was still expecting it to take longer. 2 hours later, I called - apparently the driver's car had broken down but they were on their way now. Hmm, alright... 30mins later it showed up and, again, it was delicious so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But the third time... Blooming heck. Ordered sushi and a katsu curry on the app - a £53 order for me and my husband as a treat. App said an hour. An hour later and they hadn't confirmed the order. I rang - no answer. Messaged on Facebook - no answer. 4 hours after ordering, I get a text - apparently, there was an issue with the app and they weren't supposed to be taking orders that night so we could either have a refund or get the order at any point in the week. We thought, oh well, it's paid for, we'll get it delivered. Tomorrow? No. Okay the day after at 6pm... Fine. It finally arrived at 7pm. No apology, no acknowledgement that the order was now 49 hours late... actually so ridiculous it's funny. I won't be ordering here again. It's a shame, because the food is genuinely very nice but if you're paying that kind of money you kind of expect it to arrive on the day you order it as a bare minimum...

Ordered a take away at 5:30 to be told it would be 1.5hr wait (which although it was long we accepted it as a friend recommended the food was good). Still hadn’t arrived by 7:30, so called to find out when it would be sent out and was told it would be leaving in 10 mins with our driver. Half an hour later, still no update / dispatch from the restaurant to I phoned again.. told was very busy and they were waiting for the Deliveroo driver (which was a lie as we could see on the app he had been there waiting for ages and told us he had been waiting at the restaurant for over an hour!) Long story short the food arrived just before 9, the hot food items were cold. Sushi was nice but would not be ordering again as poor customer service and unacceptable wait times. If you’re hungry I suggest somewhere else!!

I've ordered from Zumu for over a year as a regular. I've really enjoyed the food and the salmon teriyaki is great. However, I ordered food tonight, got told it was an hour wait for delivery. An hour and a half later, my other half went to the takeaway, to find that the shutters were shut, the lights were on, people were inside, noone was answering our calls but happy to take our money. Really disappointed in Zumu.

A refreshing change from the usual fast food on Warrington Road. Fancied something with a bit of a kick on the way home and opted for chilli chicken noodles. Was not disappointed

Zumu Sushi went out of their way to deliver to us at a local hotel after I called and explained where we were. The food was amazing, and they were really helpful. I'd very much recommend visiting if you're in the area, 100% worth it.

Me and my boyfriend tried the sushi here and it was one of the best sushi we ever had, Healthy food and Tasty too and excellent service by Staff. They are amazing The chilli chicken noodles were amazing. Rock on. Roll on.

This sushi restaurant is a hidden gem. They got great quality with great sized portions with great price for someone to be eating food like this. The staff were really friendly and they gave us extra food to try out which was lovely. Recommended. Keep making sushi guys🤣

Excellent service, Excellent Quality of food if anyone is sushi lover you should definitely try this place out. The bao buns were lovely and received complementary milkshakes from AB. I wish you guys had place to sit in. That would be fabulous in warrington. 🤗

Absolutely amazing! The spicy tuna temaki was magical- they combined it with little pieces of mango that balanced with the spicy Japanese mayonnaise perfectly. Really recommend the sushi tacos and gyoza.

10 x 10 food orders can be late but takes nothing away from the beautifully fresh cooked food!

Save your money and get sushi from M&S or Tesco. Ridiculously over-priced, tiny sushi portions and average taste. Really nothing special, no creativity. Couldn’t believe the size of the portions when they arrived. Will not be returning.

Amazing customer service. Really friendly staff, gave my little girl a fruit shoot to stop her crying whilst we waited for our order. Food arrived 45 minutes late, could have been later if I hadn't rang after it was 25 mins late. I ordered veggie gyozas, which I was really looking forward to, however they stated in the menu only vegetables in the gyoza. When I ate it, it had pink meat looking and tasting pieces inside, I was distraught. I asked for a refund. They asked if they could send me an order of chicken and veggie gyozas as an apology. I'm sorry the last thing you want to do is throw more dead animals at me. They said they would simply refund me. And they haven't. Super disappointed. I adore sushi and was so looking forward to ordering from this place. Maybe it was a bad night, but never ever again for me. Stick to making it myself.

Ordered at 6 for a 7:30 delivery arrived at 9! Squid looked like it was the scraps left over, the chicken wings must’ve been from chicks judging by the size of them and the chilli chicken noodles should be called gristle chilli noodles. Offered a 30% discount off my next order which I won’t be using.

First experience no staff wearing face masks,no protective screen,server had a bandage on thumb with no protective cover on,fish was very sparing and rolls very thin.Definately not value for money.
