Zumu Sushi in Manchester

Zumuku 🍱 Didsbury 📍 After first experiencing zumuku on Mother’s Day We’d Already planned a return and use the complimentary £10 voucher 💵 after browsing different locations went to didsbury for a cute afternoon out in the week We were greeted with a Warm welcome from the chilly Manchester wind , inside was quiet and beautifully decorated with chilled vibes so had options for seating Our Server Ben was incredible and faultless he couldn’t of been more attentive Highly appreciated on the house chicken wings 🍗 for my mum and vegan roll 🌱which was a nice surprise and perfect dipped in soy My mum got the lunch menu available during the week which was 2 courses for £12.95 Consisting of chicken teriyaki skewers 🍢and salmon teryaki 🍚 While I got the plant powered sushi tacos 🌮 packed with avocado 🥑 mango 🥭 salsa , kaiso salad 🥗 tiradito sauce topped with sesame and edamame Nothing like I’ve had before and highly recommend A well enjoyed meal before browsing the cute shops around the area

To celebrate my son's birthday, we chose to dine-in Zumuku sushi in Worsley. My son's favorite was ramen while the chilli squid was tasty and flavorful that like eating at Hong Kong's Tai Pai Dong. Comparably, the sushi boat impressed me when it comes with the variety, freshness and its styling. Definitely won't be the last and recommend to reserve table in advance so as to enjoy the best of moment.

This was my first ever adventure into the world of sushi and based purely on the food, I'd be more than happy to give it another go - Zumu's presentation is immaculate and the portion sizes are large with a good range of fish on offer. The overall experience was however let down by the staff member who took exception to our asking why the four chicken skewers on the menu had been delivered as three. Apparently this was now the way the skewers were cooked and it was the same amount of meat... no problem, but in such a case, one wouldn't expect it to be a problem to put that said amount of meat onto four and I certainly wouldn't expect a sarcastic comment about the accuracy of the rest of the menu. Perhaps we were unlucky but generally the staff did seem a bit lacking. Would be more than happy to go again and take a chance on the staff although prices were on the high side, even for the area.

We ordered takeaway for valentine's evening as it was advertising a valentine's vegetarian platter. Our order arrived from deliveroo & the receipt said plant powered platter, but it was all fish. We called deliveroo as there's no number for Zumu Sushi Salford, & they ordered another platter for us. However yet again, despite the receipt saying plant powered platter & the order stating vegetarian, another fish platter was sent. So hours down the line, I still don't have food. It's too late to order food now and valentines treat is ruined.

First visit to Zumu and it won’t be the last. The restaurant is bright and inviting. The staff for attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, lots of choice and very fresh tasting. What I loved is the staff preparing the food appeared to be loving what they were doing, taking great care in presentation and with a smile on their faces.

We had a fab time at Zumu with friends. We ordered a chef's platter which was a lovely mix of sushi pieces and accurately served the number of people indicated on the menu. We also grabbed some sushi tacos at the suggestion of the waiter (we were all pretty sceptical) and it was delish! We will definitely order them every time we go back. The waiting staff were such fun and very chatty! Loved our dinner. We will be back.

Visited here after lockdown was lifted and we were allowed to sit outside at restaurants. Paragraph I was really hoping for a fantastic first meal out and they didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best sushi I have had and I’ve had a lot. Also really enjoyed the chilli squid, gyozas and fries. Exceptional food and really good service. Highly recommend a visit

We found these guys on deliveroo during lockdown so it was our first stop when restaurants reopened. Incredible sushi and sides (beef bao buns were great). The staff were really nice and even made something that wasn't on the menu anymore as we loved it so much when we had it from deliveroo. Highly recommend, fresh, tasty and so many options.

Literally one of the best take aways we have ever got, the food was incredible. So tasty, full of amazing flavours, excellent portion size, I just can't recommend it enough! We had Katsu, Bao, Sushi and Gyozas and my gosh I want it all again!

Tried Zulu Sushi for the first time last night. We weren’t sure what to expect and didn’t actually have sushi at all. It is so much more than just fish which is what some may expect. Yes it’s a bit more expensive than your usual takeaway BUT you really can tell that everything you are eating is not only freshly prepared but fresh. The chilli squid was delicious, chicken skewers like nothing we have had before and the mains of bar buns, Teriyaki chicken and Katsu chicken were perfect. It was ready when they said it would be - we collected. Nothing bad to say. Give it a try.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. The tacos were memorable - very clever combination of flavours. Beautiful food.
