Had fish and chips last night 12/03/24 it was delicious, fish cooked to perfection and lovely crispy batter👍👍👍11/10 from me!!! Xxx

This is such a great chinese takeaway. The food is deliciously good and staff are amazing. Great for any situation e.g friends over,family meal.

I ordered salt and pepper chicken with rice. The chicken is deliciously cooked in fresh vedge which gives the chicken so much flavour! I’ve never had better S & P chicken :) the rice is always good and go with the chicken really well. The timing is fine, we get there at the time they tell us it will be ready at over the phone and usually have to wait 5-10 minutes but I honestly don’t see a problem with waiting a bit longer :) lovely takeout, lovely staff, will always continue to come back!

Food is good but just be prepared to wait ages for it. On the last three occasions I have used them, I ordered over the phone and was given a time to collect. However, on each of the last three occasions I have had to wait between 15 and 25 minutes after the original time given. This time (third time) I deliberately turned up 5 minutes later than they said, but still waited another 20 minutes. Such a shame because the food is good. I won't be using them again. Will be finding someone who has food ready on time.

Been getting takeaways here for a while the service is the worst they will have you waiting over an hour from a telephone order, my last order I had the salt and pepper chicken pieces when I arrived home and opened them they were a dirty dark colour not at all appetising to look at or taste, I rang them straight away the lady said she would get her husband to call me back(I just wanted an apology and to replace them) no phone call so I rang them back and said I will return them, the lady took the food back and showed them to the people in the kitchen as there is a window I could see there suprised faces, the I guess owner came out and asked if I had done something to them WHAT, why would anybody buy food go and pick it up then drive back to show them the state of the food they had given me, the rude little man shove you're takeaway crap food where the sun don't shine I won't be back.

The food here is excellent but the service has deteriorated to a diabolical level. You can ring through your order, even the day before, specify a time required but your order doesn’t seem to get to the kitchen en you actually arrive at your collection time…….and they will only tell you of any delay once you have handed over your cash. We are going to have to look about for an alternative outlet now as can’t be waiting over an hour, past agreed collection time, every time we order. Again, great food but truly awful service.

Tastiest food , I've tried a number of dishes and they were all delicious, i travel from brandlesholme to ainsworth its so good, very clean and the owners are lovely people.

We had another excellent meal delivered last night which was a Saturday. We have never ever been disappointed with any of the food ordered, it has always been of restaurant quality and the food has always been hot although it was delivered to us in Harwood. The salt and pepper combo was delicious as is all the meals and the prawn crackers delicious. Looking forward to our next Chinese supper.

The food at Zugafun is fantastic the range of meal choices amazing my favourite is the Mongolian beef or chicken the delivery service is good highly recommend

We ordered our food at 18:58 & were advised 1hr for delivery. When it hadn't arrived at 20:24, we rang back to chase the order to which we were told 15minutes. Being hungry we said okay. At 21.01 we rang again to say that we were still waiting & that this was ridiculous!!! To be then told that our order was just leaving. We live about 5minutes drive away maximum & it eventually arrived at 21:15. That's an incredible 2hours 17minutes after our 1st phone call !!!!!! After reading previous delivery / timescale issues about being busy at peak hours, then please don't lie to us :-( You have clearly NOT learnt anything about good customer service!!! If it's going to be 2 hours, then just say so & then I can make the choice to either wait or go elsewhere. A bag of free prawn crackers really doesn't cut it as some sort of a half baked apology. To ask for the full money + delivery charge is just down right rude & shows that you don't appreciate your loyal customers. Congratulations, you've just lost another loyal customer :-( PLEASE JUST BE HONEST WITH YOUR DELIVERY TIMES BTW couldn't fault the quality of the food.

Vile customer service !! Shouting at myself (woman) infront of my 5 year old son telling me to sit down and be patient ! I am a paying customer he told me he was rushed off his feet and busy to wait ! I don’t appreciate being treated in this manner ! I only asked how much my food was ? I’m so confused never felt so belittled in my life. as an apology I should of got my money back as he belittled me infront of everyone waving his hands everywhere. If he cannot cope with a busy Saturday night maybe he shouldn’t have a business or work with the public for that matter !! His attitude towards a new customer was rude !!

My last review of Zugafun was not a good one, but since then I have had two takeaways delivered and both have been very good, I always post honest reviews and in particular when I think previous negative comments have perhaps been considered by the owner. In this case I think that is correct. All the dishes I ordered on Saturday night where exceptional, particularly the prawn crackers which are the best I've had anywhere and the prawn toast also superior quality. My King Prawn Cashew nut was also packed with King Prawns and Cashew nuts with less use of onion than previously. Credit where credit is due. Keep up the good work. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review is I had to wait around an hour and 40 minutes. I appreciate it was a busy Saturday night, and everything is made fresh, but this was just a bit too long.

This is a really clean takeway, th efood is very good, the only issue is it can take over an hour to deliver, and I live locally, but would recommend

This is our first takeout of choice despite there being several Chinese and other ethnic options more local to where we live. We've never once had issues with the waiting time and the service is always very friendly. My wife particularly loves the purple cabbage and blueberry sauce dish which we've not seen elsewhere whilst I tend to go for the Chinese or Green Thai curries, both of which they spice up nicely for me as per my request.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery on a Monday night. I had hears some good things about this place so I thought I'd give it a try. The order took around 45 minutes to arrive which did not bother me as I had been told that when ordering. No free prawn crackers with the order which is unusual. The prawn toast where actually quiet nice. The Duck Spring Rolls where just weird, and we did not like those. The main dishes where nothing special either and had loads of onion in both of them. Egg fried rice was a bit stodgy and not enough egg. The soft noodles where OK though. Another disappointing Chinese takeaway considering that Chinese food is so expensive compared to Indian for example. Cost £25 for both of us and was a total disappointment. Will not use them again and in fact I'm done with trying to find a good Chinese in my area.

Had takeaways since the early days - problems a few weeks ago - tried again - past its best - rubbish tonight - Asta La Vista - we won’t be back - same as any cheaper rubbish takeaway - thick sauce - freshness out the window - shame

We have had food from Zugafun on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The menu is wide ranging with some more unusual dishes as well as old favourites. Clearly other people agree as it is always busy which means that there can sometimes be a wait for food. But it is definitely worth it, you just sometimes have to think ahead and order before you are desperately hungry!

Honestly, this place knows how to do Chinese food! It was so busy that all the time I was waiting for our tea to be cooked the phone never stopped. It was so fresh, tasty and well priced. 100% recommended, you won’t be disappointed

Following on from my previous review we decided to give Zugafun another chance. So glad we did! We have had some lovely meals from here recently, even had a dish prepared for us that wasnt on the menu at our request!

The best food for miles around I don't miss living in Ainsworth but I miss their food. Good for vegetarians too.

This was, by far, the best Chinese takeaway we have had in the Manchester area...the staff were friendly and helpful and the price was very competitive. They also have an extensive menu. We look forward to trying some different dishes!

If this take away opens up a seating area or restaurant I will be first to try it.

Have been here several times and it's been ok, not the best Chinese-away I've ever had, but this time is was not great.

Amazing choice for vegetarian meals the most choice I've seen at a chinese take away. Food was really tasty and huge portions, great value for money and the service was fast and friendly! Would recommend!

Been going here for about 4 months and I can honestly say this is the best chinese I've ever been to,plenty to choose from,fresh and big portions,the staff are really friendly and talkative,food is always on time and you can see the chiefs cooking it,very clean and hygienic and it has a great VIBE!

This has to be simply the best takeaway around. The food is always fantastic, delivered piping hot, the staff are very helpful and friendly and I would recommend ZugaFun to anyone and everyone. Try it - you wont be disappointed.

Visit here at least once a month the food is top compared to any other Chinese take aways I've had never get belly ache either as there's no msg in the cooking everything is completely fresh!

I am not quite sure where to start this review. I have never had quite an experience. We ordered salt and pepper squid starter, king prawn in oyster sauce with cashew nuts and chinese mushrooms, roast duck cantonese and a boiled rice. The starter was great as always, the prawn dish as usual.

Have been here a few times, to be honest I wasn't sure about it... yesterday I ordered a takeaway for 2 to collect. Excellent quality freshness and flavours throughout, very enjoyable and would recommend this place. Possibly one of the best Chinese takeaway meals I have ever had.

Love this place. Foods really nice. Staff are really nice and remember customers and build a great customer relationship . Very nice food. Can't fault it whatsoever. It does get really busy however and some people may moan about waiting a little longer when it's extremely busy but it's worth the wait and the owner and staff couldn't be doing a better job. It's fantastic !

Staff are always friendly, food is delicious and there is plenty of it to go around. The chicken used for the meals is always good quality. A lot better than some takeaways where the chicken is rubbery or chewy.

When ZugaFun opened the food was lovely and the service was spot on, we thought we had a good takeaway in the village at last! Sadly both food and service have both gone downhill. We are now back to traveling out of the village for a takeaway.

Great food, quick delivery, appropriately priced and never have they made a mistake! Salt and pepper chips are the best around! I wish more chinese takeaways did things like ZugaFun! 5*

Moved to area a couple of months ago and have been looking for a decent chinese - had tried the one in Walshaw (just OK, much better for fish and chips) but ordered from ZugaFun tonight and have to say it's superb.

We have fast become a regular at this place. The food is always fresh and amazing. Great food and service. You will love it.

It's so hard these days to find a Chinese takeaway that stands out from the crowd. You seem to get the same tinfoil trays of disappointment wherever you go. ZugaFun is a refreshing change from the norm.

A change from the usual Chinese takeaway. Immaculate premise with a good choice of noodles plus the regular Chinese menu. Highly recommended.

We had a last minute supper of vermicelli noodles and they were fantastic as recommended by friends in the area. We will definitely be back 😀
