Great lady at front of house serving. Making customers happy. Great salt pepper ribs. We had a variety but all food was of an excellent standard. A must visit!

Quality Chinese chippy this, i go all the time for special fried rice and crispy beef in ok sauce, other dishes tried are salt and pepper chicken and bbq spare ribs. NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL from here, and I've been coming for years.excellent staff and service. May always make you feel welcome

Like the old song says, you can't always get what you want, which even more disappointing when you get home and find your vegi chow mien is 75% pork!

We have had takeaway from here so many times, out of all the Chinese restaurants in Bury, this is definitely the best. We love the special fried rice- great size and really good, the chicken curry, barbecue spare ribs, are our go to, but we have had lots of other good food over the years. The restaurant staff know our family, are always very friendly and always ask about my dad! Good value for money and they always give you a bag of prawn crackers and if we order 3 meals they also add spring rolls.

I've always eaten here and have never been let down. Lovely food and service. It is also well priced in comparison to other places. Was shocked to see the rating so low on here but only because theres very few reviews. one complaining about chippy food they got from here, I agree it isn't the best from here but there's a perfectly good chippy next door..

Excellent staff - they are always friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and their portions are definitely better when comparing to other local places. I would recommend visiting, you won't regret it! :o)

Terrible, simple the worst cripsy chilli beef ever. There was no chilli and the sauce was like a bad gravy. The beef tasted like it had been fried in old burned oil with a fish taste. The fried rice was anything but light and fluffy, it fell onto my plate like a brick.I will never eat from there again and would not recommend you to.

China express is a good Chinese chippy get the ribbs

As its my nearest Chinese takeaway l have used this place hundreds of times and never had a bad meal yet. Don't know about the English food because l go elsewhere for fish and chips but for Chinese dishes this place is as good if not better than most.

Usually use a takeaway in Tottington who do an amazing beef satay, last night I was passing here, so thought I'd try them instead: it was the worst beef satay I've ever had from anywhere, it was horrible and ended up throwing half of it away! Tasted like it'd been warmed up in a microwave, definately didn't taste freshly made for a start. Won't be going there again!

Fantastic food very very tasty. Very friendly staff. My first time at China xpress. But definitely not my last. If your in the area a must try Chinese takeaway 5 stars

Tried this place for first time, friendly staff but the food is absolutely disgusting, I only ordered sausage chips and gravy so can’t imagine what their other stuff is like, got home to find sausage really greasy and fryed oven chips what’s that all about, never going back to this place ever again

We had not been here previously although we regularly have Chinese food. We ordered a set meal for 4 and we added a chicken and sweet corn soup. The cost was a very reasonable ,£47, probably £15 less than we would have expected. We were not fans of the salt and pepper ribs and the duck was a bit well done but the rest of the food was really good. The staff were also very friendly. The food was more than enough for 5 people. We will certainly use them again next Time.

Lovely friendly service. Chinese food always tasty. Good portion sizes. Fish and chips cooked in same oil however so have a distinctive chinese taste which isn't very nice.

Just called into this Chip Shop and ordered 2×Fish & Chips to go. I was served by a most pleasant Chinese Lady, very welcoming. The portions were generous and well cooked at a very readonable price. My constructive criticism is that the Fish were cooked in oil which had been used to cook either Prawns or Prawn Crackers but certainly oil not reserved for Fish to accompany chips. The Fish was heavily tainted with this taste and as White Fish rendered inedible, sadly. Hope the pleasant Lady accepts this Helpful Criticism and corrects this process to her ultimate advantage.☺

They short changed me; I realized straight away but I didn't challenge the girl there. Fish was weird and I binned the chips. I'm filling myself up with lager instead. Not so lol.
