Zizzi - Wigmore Street in City of London, Westminster

Hit and miss. I came after ages as I was shopping nearby. Pizza, pasta, salads and more. Good choice for those who follow a vegan diet. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Orange Juice. Food was nice, plain and simple. A classic. Comforting and tasty. Service was pleasant and attentive but could be friendlier. As I said, this branch is very hit and miss. Good today!

Lovely meal, my son has a lot of allergies. Kishan was our waiter and was very helpful and accommodating. The manager there, I forget his name, remembered us from a few months back and came to say hi which was great.

It was pouring rain and we were looking for a place to lunch. We found Zizzi quite by chance and we're glad we did. Amazing home made pork meatballs, and sauce to die for. Glad we literally ran into this place.

These reviews always make one come across like a Karen. But I am compelled to review as the service was so good. I have never really had a great Zizzi experience but we got given a gift voucher that was about to expire. So went to the Wigmore St branch. It was a totally different experience from the awful experiences at Tower Hill & Stratford Westfield branches. The staff were amazing! Particularly Akhil. So friendly and attentive and made sure we had a great time. The food was amazing too. Zizzi Wigmore St has restored my opinion of this company.

I tried their new wagyu pizza with burrata which was really delicious, the tomatoes add so much flavour to it. It is a very pretty looking outlet and the service is super fast !

Didn’t finish my lunch, and asked staff to arrange takeaway. For some reason waiter Ali believes the customers need to help themselves. He simply brought packaging for myself to arrange take away.

This restaurant was nicely laid out and not too busy being not too far from Oxford Street. We booked here for a meal as a group of four. The restaurant was nicely set out and clean. The toilets are located down a flight of stairs. We were served really quickly with the food arriving fast. The food was all tasty with no complaints. We were well looked after. My only moan was the cost of a bottle of white wine. I appreciate you pay a premium when in London, but the cost was alittle excessive .

Had a pizza that was cold within 5 minutes of eating it, we never got asked if we would like another drink, finishing the pizzas we waited an hour and half for them to be cleared and then eventually be acknowledged and asked if we would like dessert or a drink. We paid and left, wasn’t even busy to warrant the lack of attention our table got which was 0!! Won’t be returning!

Food was a bit overcooked (pizza was burnt in some places). Apart from that though, the service was great, staff was very friendly so no issues there.

Fabulous food served, nice atmosphere, only downside was the state of the toilets downstairs. 4 small individual toilets, middle 2 had "out of order" stuck on door. Other 2 were in a terrible state. I spoke to staff member, who said they were too busy to deal with it. Great meal, poor conditions..

TLDR: Not worth the money. They forgot to make us cocktails until they served our starter, and even then they only gave us one cocktail and we had to wait for the other. The Strawberry Daiquiri was ok, the black forest cocktail was basically white chocolate curls with a bit of alcohol and sauce in it. The favourites sharing board starter was pretty boring and tasted pretty bland. The calzone was ok, the garlic pork meatballs lacked alot of flavour and didn't taste of pork or garlic. The chocolate melt was basically a larger, but flatter, melt in the middle pudding you can buy from most shops and the vanilla gelato was just soft scoop ice cream. The black forest fondant was slightly warm on the outside and cold in the middle and gelato tasted like watery ice cream. The bill came to just shy of £100, including the optional 10% staff tip, but luckily we had a gift voucher for £49. The meal and experience wasn't worth £100 and I'd probably argue that it's not even worth the £50 we paid either.

Nice little zizzi good food pizza was light and freshly made .staff polite .my only reason for not 5 star review reason is speed of service did take quite a while to get drinks then a wait for food other than that very nice .I had the rustic half n half sticky pig pizza 🍕

I ordered food for pickup and there was a notable oversight in our recent order – the absence of utensils. It's not fun to have your food and no spoon or fork to eat it.

Disappointing, seems like a place for large groups. Very average quality but served quickly.

Arrive at the restaurant at around 6pm. Spoke to 3 staff members before speak to a manager about to get a table for 6 people without reservation. Manager approach me saying that no table were available. I show to him few tables can be available if he put together. His reply was he can't. So instead accomodate 6 guest with half restaurant empty he turn away 6 guests loosing revenue. Myself has Operation Manager of 4 restaurant and 2 Rooftop in London, I did believe of his answer. That manager should not work in hospitality and be in charge of a venue. We always ho to Zizzi has no many places have gluten free base for my wife and my daughter like Zizzi pizza. No doubt that will be the last time.

This is the worst restaurant I’ve been to in years! Staff all very slow & lethargic, got my order completely wrong & then too 30mins to bring another, manager rude when I dare ask why it was taking so long! Drinks brought so slowly then half the drinks order missing. Toilets no loo roll & filthy wet, avoid this place it’s truly awful!!

Poor quality food. Staff didn’t have a clue what they were doin. The manager was a complete waste of time and had a massive attitude problem. Not worth the money at all. The manager couldn’t even deal with the complaints as she doesn’t have an authority and thinks her staff are great even tho they are all standing around doing nothing. Avoid this please

Can be preffered if you are around. Many better Italian kitchen in London…

Sat down and looked at menu Went to toilet and they were really bad.. needed a real good clean Lady came and took drinks order (no large beer left so husband had to have a small).. not a major problem Then when we started to order it was like nothing available … no calamari, unable to do calzone without meatball, unable to do carbanara without chorizo.. waitress then started to get a bit impatient and we didn’t feel comfortable at all We decided to just leave … wasn’t a great experience

Did not stay. We went downstairs and it was too cold, so we had to leave.

Very rude staff. Had to leave. The restaurant wasn't busy, but it felt they didn't want customers there.

Food was good, but service wasn’t. Took forever for people to get seated even though there were loads of empty seats everywhere. Feel like they need to sort out the seating order. And once sat down, they took over an hour for them to acknowledge us and take an order, even that was initiated by us, else would have taken longer for us told be looked at. Need to really improve this as lot of people ended up leaving. Due to this, we weren’t looking forward to the food as much and had a bad experience.

We were sat at a table that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Then server puts in for a wrong dish. That is brought to us and waiter is confused why we’re not accepting the dish. I tell him that’s not what I ordered. Original server has disappeared. When the bill comes, the wrong dish is still on the bill. But Kate sorted it out in seconds. She’s amazing.

The food at zizzi is always lovely , the 2-4-1 makes it even better . Cant complain at all , thank you and see you soon.

We went to Zizzi in Wigmore Street for Sunday lunch. We were greeted by the operative who was looking after the upper floor. We chose Salmon Carbonara with fresh cresta di gallo pasta, unusual shape, very tasty and Beef Ragu with cresta di gallo fresh pasta, also very good. We were served with discreet confidence by Ali. As a dessert we had lemon mousse cake which was delicious. Good portions with the pasta dishes. We had a Zillionaires" Club discount, which is well worth while signing up for. A good experience all around in a nice area of London away from the Oxford Street rush and crowd.

I came to Zizzi for dinner with my family and the food was absolutely amazing. We got margarita pizza, spaghetti, bruschetta, garlic bread, salmon salad and chips on the side. Everything was piping hot and delicious. We also asked for hot water with lemon and the presentation of even that was incredible. Ali and Kishan were extremely helpful and their attention to detail was great. Overall a very positive experience, Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Went to this restaurant for lunch on 11th Nov. I ordered meatballs for starters & risotto for mains, to begin with it was ice cold in centre. Waiter was kind enough to take it back and offered me freshmeatballs. However I was served the same meatballs (heated) probably microwaved. Also they brought my mains at the same time which is not acceptable. Meat balls were very dry and risotto was not good quality. Won't go here again!!!!!

What a great to change to come to restaurant and be greeted by a friendly member of the staff. We visited with my friends on 7/11/23, early evening. Food was amazing,.we chose from the Xmas menu, the service was 5*, all staff members were very polite and smiley. Food was amazing too. Def will be back!!! Cherish these lovely people that work in there, people like that are like a gold dust 😊😊

Lovely spot for delicious Italian food. The prawn dish on a vertical skewer is AMAZING! Gluten free, vegan pasta for main was nice also. Helpful and nice staff.

This is a nice spot for lunch, a block north of Oxford St. We started with sharing a small calamari which was a perfect size for two. Delicious. We then shared the Primavera pizza which was more than enough for two. The food was great. Unfortunately they only have bottled beer and I do love the draught beer in England. Would eat here again.

I am a regular customer in zizzi restaurant this branch. Very nice delicious food. However, the lady who is responsible to seat people can make you have a bad experience because of her aggressive language and her unwelcome attitude. Sad to leave good restaurant in such hands.

I’ve noticed shortage of staff which affects the service.

Been to zizzi’s over 50 times I’ve never seen service this bad. Avoid this place Bad service, garlic bread was burnt, there were fruit flies everywhere couldn’t eat in peace. Also did not have balsamic glaze and acted like they’ve never heard of that before.

Staff are not interested and not attending to paying customers. 2 kids pizza and spagbowl taken over 1hr to be ready and they only have 3 table full. Poor service

We have gone to this place after seeing all these great reviews. When we entered we were nicely greeted by staff and we were served in a timely manner. However, the pizza was terrible. It was a bit tasteless and the crust tasted horrible. The tip is included in the bill as well. I did not eat other meals there so I don’t know how they taste. I would definitely not go there for the pizza and I will not again.

Drove all the way to get here by 8:40 PM because they posted they close at 10. Got there and found out the kitchen closes at 9, so no food for me. Wish they'd make that clear online. Total letdown!

I didn’t like being seated near the cleaning station even though I had a booking and the place wasn’t full. We ordered fries and the waiter forgot to bring. They got coloring page for my son but no coloring pens. A table next to us ordered after us and received their meal before us.

Inside was too hot , waiter was so so sleepy and slow , food was delicious and nice .

The staff kept ignoring our table and I was not offered any Parmesan. We were very disappointed.

Eten bij Zizzi is altijd prima, daar ligt het dus zeker niet aan. Personeel hier is niet zo vriendelijk. Ietwat vroeg voor de reservering, praktisch afgesnauwd worden dat de tafel nog gereed gemaakt moet worden. Geen probleem, logisch als je te vroeg bent, maar de manier waarop het gebracht wordt.. :) Eten zeker niets op aan te merken, dit was prima!

Service was excellent but bit slow for us outside. This was because there was a large party inside. We went early at 5.30pm and plenty of tables then. I'd still book a table in the weekday! Excellent food.

Early dinner pre BST at Hyde Park. Waited yo be ackn by staff, but then service and speed of food good. Could have been cooler in the restaurant

Not impressed that service charge is automatically added to bill. I shouldn't have to ask to have it removed. Lasagne had a thick layer of breadcrumbs on the top, not a traditional lasagne. Ok but won't be going back

Delicious, reliable food - as ever! And easy reach of Bond Street, Oxford Street, Selfridges and more! On the day we visited there was a problem with the Aircon, but hopefully that's now fixed. Food intolerances were addressed carefully - good job!

When we arrived at Zizzi's we took a table went but decided to eat outside as it was very hot. Our order was taken by a tall young man, who added that as we were outside we would have to pay. I questioned this and he said it was easy to walk off. After 10 mins a person turned up (female) who told us we needed to order online and that there was no salmon. We informed her that the order was already taken but given her appearance (her teeth and white mouth) we realised they did not really want us at that restaurant and I went in to inform the lady at the bar that we were leaving to dine else where. We was there about 1pm on Saturday 17th June and hope there is footage. I would never go again but my friends son and his mates might but after he hears our his mum and my experience, I would hope he doesn't

Starter never arrived, for main we ordered calzone and a pizza rustica which was cold. I asked to make a new one, which they did but it was paper thin. I like thin crust, but this one was another level.. in the end the waiter took it off the bill. A bit disappointed..

Not a fan of changed menu. Might be a great place for non vegetarians & goat cheese lovers but a disappointment otherwise

We were looking for a place to eat and stopped at this place. It was very quiet for the location of the restaurant (nearby Oxford street) but we were craving Italian so we asked for a seat. He wanted us to sit inside and was not pleased that we asked for a table outside but it was so hot inside that we didn’t want to stay inside. The manager completely ignored us and a couple of other tables. I went to the toilet and wanted to ask on my way back if we could already order or if I could have the table number so we could order via the QR code I couldn’t even finish my sentence when the manager said “you have already ordered” in a snarky way. Sadly he only took our order of the drinks, the coffee was bad and the water was warm and it took them 20 minutes to bring that, after that he didn’t take our order for food and I started to read some reviews online and decided to leave. The manager was rude and I saw multiple tables leave before they could order. I worked in restaurants for six years and go out to eat regularly but this service was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Also the manager SMELLED and had very bad hygiene and if that’s the manager I don’t want to know how the hygiene situation is of the restaurant… couldn’t be good. If someone is reading this while waiting to order, go to Ristorante Olivelli it’s very nearby and the service is perfect and the food is great!!

I have been at this restaurant numerous times in the past, would definitely say that food was really good on my most recent visit. We had Ravioli Di capra, king prawn linguine, seasoned chips, tiramasu dessert. Zizzi has slightly increased the portion size (still not massive) as compared to earlier (smaller portion).

Ordered the fonduta board as a sharing starter, pan fried sea bass for mains which was served with rainbow heritage carrots, garlic spinach and rosemary & sea salt chips, and a seafood butter sauce for pouring. I was underwhelmed and also hungry. 4* for the great customer service, and not for the food - which was ok but not the best.

Really bad experience. Understaffed. A trainee and only one waiter serving 2 floors, and clearly confused. First they gave us a wonky table, then they got the order wrong and brought the second part of the order after 25’, and then at the checkout we had a taste card and the manager applied the discount wrong, as the description of the discount was saying something clearly different. Very disappointed, i wish i could give 0 stars.

Zizzi at Wigmore Street was not quite as scintillating as was made out on their web site. The menu selection was adequate but the quality of food was unimpressive. There was a stale smell on the table which was a bit off-putting. The toilets downstairs were not properly maintained and cash was not accepted for bill payments. Having said that, the food was served on time but had to wait a long time before the bill was presented. We had a family dinner hence we’re not bored but overall the experience was less than impressive and I would not be going back to this restaurant.

Very much enjoyed dining here, was recommended Zizzis by a friend and it did not disappoint. Portions were quite suitable, but drinks menu could have been expanded a little more to add Variety. The only negative aspect was the fact that the service was quite slow, we had to wait a significant amount of time and after several reminders to our server, before we even got handed our drinks.
