I absolutely loved the experience, great food and an amazing service. I highly recommend this restaurant to spend some good family time. I didn't have to wait too long for my food, everything was just about right and the atmosphere was very nice and cozy. I also wanted to highlight the incredible service by Waitress Nelia who did an amazing job ensuring everything was ok and made us feel comfortable and at ease, so thank you very much. Good job! Highly recommend Pizza Express Millbank.

Quick and tasty takeaway when staying in a nearby hotel.

It started raining and I found shelter here on a Monday evening. I asked if I could work here with my laptop and order some food, they happily said yes and found me a table near a power point. And that's the place where I ended up eating the most delicious bruschetta I've ever had, the bread was amazing, the pesto as well ! Thank you

Myself and my daughter stopped by here last evening for tea.... Service was excellent as was the food.... We will definitely be back when I am next down visiting. Thank u all....xx

Good location, value for money. Plenty of space

We went as group of 4 for lunch and had to wait for 20 mins before actually going upto to stop someone to take our order. The food came after 40 mins and some of it was rushed and a little undercooked. The person did apologise and said the reason was because apparently they understaffed.

Very lovely quiet restaurant. Also the staff were very attentive without being pushy. Was able to stay and chat after the food was done without any worry l.

Great food, pleasant atmosphere and good service. If it looks empty from the outside, don't let yourself be deterred - there was practically no one there when we came, but everything turned out great. The Pizza was good, but I especially enjoyed my dessert.

Pizza express is standard as far as the menu goes, but the service was good, speed of order to receiving food was good, staff overall were really pleasant. The new Romana range is worth trying :-))

One of my favorite pizzerias in London, delicious pizza with a thin and crispy crust, good atmosphere and great service, we were served by Ruslan, very polite and attentive, great service.

I really enjoyed the experience & the service was great and I would really like to highlight the waitresses that served me, Nélia & Ramony, who did an amazing job. The atmosphere was very calm and nurturing, and the food was absolutely delicious, I’d recommend it to anyone!

As I'm not a pizza person , this place is my local now, although travelling a distance. Such a warm welcoming, with a fabulous service and delicious food!

The Bosco salad was swimming in balsamic vinegar and was really unpleasant as a result. To serve it with extra vinegar dressing shows an absence of palate. It also took ages to be served in an empty restaurant but I don't blame the poor member of staff, who was exhausted and clearly overworked.

Pizza, pizza rolls and spaghetti were very tasty and the 3-course children's menu is a great thing for the little ones. The ambience is functional and the service is very good. In combination with the good price-performance ratio, these are beautiful destinations for the whole family.

Reliably poor. After not coming here for over a year since our last bad visit, my wife and I made the mistake of trying it for lunch. Big mistake. No Sicilian lemonade and a wait forever for a pizza and a starter. The pizza when it eventually arrived was cold and limp. Upon leaving we heard the greeter say to incoming patrons that there was a 35 minute wait for food as they had only 2 cooks instead of normally 4. We were not so advised and suffered accordingly. We advised the manager as we departed and he offered empty apologies. Poor quality, poor service, high prices = one star rating.

Call it Pizza Tardy and Depressed because that was his slow our pizza came and how I felt in leaving. Food cold and delayed for over 25 minutes. And when manager was told he said sorry - nothing else. No offer of a discount nothing. Totally shoddy - poor food, poor treatment, bad experience.

We arrived in London tired and jetlagged and wanted some good food close to the hotel and this place did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Food was really good - pizza has a nice, tasty crust (not too thin, not too thick) and the toppings were plentiful. For dessert, the gelato was delicious and just what was needed before crashing for the night. Only reason for the 4 rating on atmosphere was that while the restaurant is nice and very clean, it's rather echo-ey, so when it's busy it's kind of hard to hear conversation. Other than that, the experience was excellent.

Vastly improved since I last went many years ago when it was out of date and tired. Love the new thin bases. That's how pizza should be. Service quick. It needed to be as we were time sensitive.

Great pizzas, friendly service, and convenient location (close to Westminster hotel). Great to have a gluten-free pizza crust option and it tasted good too (pictured). Although we got double-charged on our credit card (not the restaurant’s fault), the managers were very helpful to resolve the situation. Thank you!

Fantastic pizza and great service from Issa! Really friendly team & quick service

I have been to many pizza expresses in the UK and this is by far the worst EVER! And I mean that it was me and my bf we waited 40mins for someone to come over to us and ask if we were ready for drinks or food! And let me add we eventually had to ask for someone to come over who we just in fact asked the manager who was horrible! Food was all wrong don’t go! We tried to even order desert but we couldn’t stand waiting any longer we had been there for almost 3 hours! Not like we were spending money we ordered alcohol but it’s like they didn’t know what to do and the servers were horrible and rude. I felt bad for the host man who was doing everything and couldn’t seat any tables because the servers were so bad and took so long!

Pizza 🍕 was acceptable but not exceptional. Really poor customer service from waiting staff. 20 min to place an order and over 30 min to ask the bill despite calling them more than 1 time. Such a great location managed by indecent staff.

Absolutely Fabulous! I have been staying at the nearby Hilton Hotel and wish I had gone to eat at the Pizza Express every night. Great staff (most impressive), superbly cooked and presented food, and wow how professional the kitchen and waiting staff are. I walked into Pizza Express with no reservation after several nights of poor dining at the Hilton Hotel, hoping for a better dining experience, and I was not disappointed. The lemon chicken wing starter was beautifully cooked and tender, the pizza (on gluten free base:) was amazing, the salad fresh and plentiful. All finished off with a fabulously presented chocolate brownie desert & coffee. It may be a chain of restaurants, but the girls and guys at Pizza Express Westminster are doing what they do, exceedingly well. Popped in for a quick solo lunch. I’m very familiar with Pizza Express branches all over the place but this was my first time here. Staff were friendly and efficient and in no time I received a lovely glass of wine and my favourite pizza, the Fiorentina! Sadly I was called away before I could even eat as my teenage son had got lost during his lunch break from a college trip to Parliament and I had to go and retrieve him! The staff were excellent and arranged for me to box up the uneaten pizza and pay very quickly. Had I been able to stay I am sure I would have thoroughly enjoyed my pizza and wine as I always do! The restaurant is situated in a quiet area by the Thames, just down from Lambeth Bridge, and about ten minutes walk from the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Bridge. It is a far more relaxing place to eat than the hugely busy streets and eateries surrounding that area, and well worth walking a bit further down to get to so as to have a calm meal and a break from the chaos! It’s spacious and attractive inside, and on a December Friday lunchtime had tables available, with prompt service despite a large primary school visit being in there too. I look forward to returning when next in the area, to enjoy a far more relaxed lunch! Yes, I did find my son, then ate my now cold pizza by the river in Victoria Tower Gardens!

I haven't been in a Pizza Express for sometime, needless to say, the menu hasn't changed that much. I went to the one in Millbank London and a great choice too, the service was great. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the staff were well presented.

The pizza was delicious. However, the man with short hair and glasses was very rude. He was throwing bills and the card reader on the table and looking very annoyed. It seemed like it wasn't just us experiencing it. I think service needs to be improved. On the other hand, the woman who took our order and served us was very friendly and lovely.

Foi uma experiência bem legal, pois o local é bem agradável. A pizza por outro lado, deixa um pouco a desejar, mas pode ser por eu estar acostumado com outro tipo de pizza. O atendimento é bom, mas como estávamos por empresa, precisávamos de comprovantes separados e isto foi um pouco complexo.

I got tired of pub food while traveling and discovered this place near my hotel. They had lots of specialty pies, salads, apps and drinks. They even had chile oil to spice it up. The service was excellent too. Strongly recommend this place.

The garlic bread was nice and hot and tasty. The pizza was stone cold. Almost as if it had been lying on the side for an hour prior to order. Not happy at all!

Absoluter Wahnsinn. Der Essen war einfach nur ein Traum. So lecker habe ich selten gegessen. Die Qualität und das Personal waren ebenfalls absolut Anstandslos. Insgesamt aber eher die Atmosphäre eines Dinners obwohl der Rest ganz klar einem Sternerestaurant gerecht wird.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ambiente und Service waren toll. Zum Essen hatten wir Pizza bestellt, welche auch schnell serviert wurde. Sah lecker aus und hat auch so geschmeckt. Preislich voll und ganz okay für Londoner Verhältnisse.

Pizza passed my standards. I always have an American taste for pizza and rarely orders sour so it definitely made me satisfied. It just took them a long time to give our orders and we were famished.

Very very unpleasant experiences. Waited 45 minutes and even not had a chance to eat what we ordered. Went in today for lunch at 12pm when no one was there yet, literally the first ones to visit and sit down. Ordered 2 pizzas with my colleagues and waited till 12.30pm with almost full house and people already eating pizzas who arrived later than us. Reminded the waiters twice but 2nd gets told our pizzas have not been made yet and they promised to get it ready in 5 mins. Left at 12.45pm which apparently way over 5 minutes. Got couple of eye contacts with the servers and they just avoided to assure us. Used to have good dining experience but now not anymore.

Food is expensive for the price. Service and atmosphere was perfect!

Went here because I had vouchers that were expiring and I also had never been to Pizza Express so wanted to try it. From the food perspective, it was not worth it at all. The pizza wasn’t bad, but it was tiny and - especially for its size - very overpriced (still paid £14 each for a pizza and a drink after using about £18 in vouchers). Definitely not worth it. What made it a good experience, however, was the lovely waitress, who was very attentive, helpful, nice and welcoming. Was very enjoyable. Because of that it was not bad overall!

It was the worst service I have ever received. The waitress was rude and had a very bad day. The food took very long so this place should not be called express,cause it takes ages to get your food. The food itself is nothing special. Choose other place.

Despite changing both the time of our booking by arriving an hour early, and the number of people in our party, we were greeted politely, and served promptly, by the helpful and pleasant staff. Went in expecting just a good meal, but totally surpassed that! The booths were really lovely to sit in, with a private feeling but still leaving the bank and everything visible. Then we were greeted by the most wonderful person, Ramony, who was just so kind and smiley and made it such a pleasant experience. The food (vegan menu too!) was great and she made the atmosphere really lovely too- thank you, Ramony!!

Ate here in February. It's a Pizza Express so the menu and food are predictable. That is, reliable and good -- not outstanding. The difference at this location is that the space is unexpectedly attractive and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Our group of 12 visited the restaurant on a Sunday, and unfortunately, we were not impressed with the service. The staff was slow and inattentive, and to make matters worse, they added an extra table to our bill in the hopes that we wouldn't notice the £80 extra charge. When we brought the mistake to our server's attention, she didn't even apologize and dismissed it as a common occurrence. To make matters worse, the food was only average, and my burger was cold and undercooked. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Khaldoun was our waiter and he gave us the best customer service I have seen in a long time. He was the friendliest person ever and was able to give us recommendations on what to eat. The food was also so delicious. Would definitely come back

What an amazing time in this restaurant, i'd like to highlight waitress Nélia who did an amazing job, the service was very consistent and there were no problems!

Was starting to fill up as I was waiting for take out. Great tasting pizza. Flavourful. Dough balls were very good. I would suggest sauce to do in along with the garlic butter.

My experience in PizzaExpress was absolutely amazing, the service of the food was outstanding, the service of the waitresses were exceptional, especially Nélia, who was very polite and helped us with everything we needed. The atmosphere was absolutely calming and relaxing, I would recommend this restaurant and the service to anyone.
