Briciole Ristorante in London is a gem of an Italian restaurant, and my recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The restaurant’s rustic yet elegant decor, combined with its cozy ambiance, made us feel like we were dining in the heart of Italy. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Briciole offers a delicious variety of authentic Italian dishes, each bursting with flavor and made from the freshest ingredients. We started with the antipasto platter, which was a delightful mix of cured meats, cheeses, and marinated vegetables. For the main course, I had the handmade pappardelle with wild boar ragu—it was rich, hearty, and absolutely divine. My companions enjoyed the seafood linguine and the veal Milanese, both of which were equally outstanding. The tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service. The staff members were professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a wonderful time. We were fortunate to meet the managers, Mr. Angelo and Mr. Alex, who were incredibly welcoming and took the time to chat with us about the restaurant’s philosophy and menu. A special mention goes to Mr. Atar who hosted us with utmost professionalism and warmth. His proactive approach and attention to detail made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. Briciole Ristorante is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving authentic Italian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. amazing food, attentive service and really cosy intimate interior! had the prawn linguine which was incredible, loved the burrata, boyfriend really enjoyed his lasagna (which came in generous portions) and tiramisu is an absolute must order - the food made me feel like i was in italy, will definitely be going back

A cozy little restaurant. From the outside it looks job smaller than it actually is. When you enter there is someone waiting for you and you can buy some more products like good wine or other Italian products. It's a fairly standard menu with dishes you can get at many Italian restaurants that doesn't say it's not a good restaurant ;). The food was great. I had a beet ravioli with sage butter which tasted really good and for dessert a tiramisu. The service was nice, it was a young team though so you do notice in conversation that they don't yet have the hospitality tigers and talk like you know. But it was just good service. The design is somewhat chaotic. A cozy place, though. However, there is still a good hit here if you ask me. The music was mostly old hits. Summary, definitely go for the food is really super good.

Been here a couple of times and the service and good is outstanding! This is my girlfriends favourite place because of the relaxed environment and lovely staff, she says it feels like home. Really cannot say enough good things about the food. Even as a vegetarian i usually have a good range of options. Have had both the butternut squash ravioli and the mushroom gnocchi and they were fabulous.

Me and my now Wife had our wedding meal here in the private room downstairs last July and everything about it was perfect. Food is AMAZING and staff and very attentive and knowledgeable. They were extremely helpful with any menu changes we wanted and help with table decorating. Replied to emails very quickly and we’re just all round perfect. Pure Italian. Very welcoming, lovely ambiance. Excellent menu choice. Delicious food, well prepared and unfussy yet great flavours and fresh artisan produce. Baked fish and cured ox cheek, just a couple of stand out dishes. Great, attentive staff and service with no delays. Overall an excellent casual Italian dining experience we’ll be back to.

Itd not cheap but its very good

We had an excellent dining experience! The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and every dish was full of flavor. The service was highly professional, with the staff guiding us to the perfect choices and offering great recommendations. We ordered the Rib Eye Steak, which was incredibly juicy and rich in flavor. The Ricotta and Spinach Lasagne was delicious, perfectly balanced, and full of taste. The Paccheri alla Genovese had a truly unique flavor profile that I absolutely loved. For dessert, the Tiramisu was fantastic, and the coffee was the perfect finishing touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Lovely solo meal tonight. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, food and wine fantastic - melanzane to start followed by wild boar ragu. My standard order and they did it so well. And it was a nice, cosy atmosphere. Would definitely come again.

Very nice place I usually visited alone on my way from grocery Waitrose shopping and took a break there been visiting since 2019 and alone I eat drink and also have dessert, recently I brought my sister, their service is outstanding. I love how they greet and farewell serve in Italian. The experience atmosphere is always buzzing. It's always full when I have been even in the cold freezing winter ! You forget that your in London and instead feel your in Italy when you step into this place. I always ask for vege options of any pasta or sauce and they cater for me as I'm a lacto vegetarian which means I will eat dairy, products including egg, but not animals and not fish. They made my pastas so yummy everything so yum recently I got obsessed with Friarielli bitter turnip tops, which I ordered again for home delivery and ate it again with my sister every ingredient they give is top notch and from Italy, all their wines are Italian tastes so gorgeous. The head managers are bright cheerful and energetic gentlemen talking to everybody and looking after everybody topping up their wines for them. Amazing. I have seen engagement parties here, mothers and grandmothers meetings, fathers, grandfather meetings, couples romantic dinner, people have chatted and laughed as I have observed. There is a Roma room which has the skyline roof you have to walk in till the end and turn right that's my favourite spot to sit and look up the skyline natural daylight. Wonderful primitivo, verdicchio and sangioviese wines

Really lovely restaurant, great food great service

My Wife and I stopped for an early dinner on a weeknight. Service was prompt and helpful. Food was excellent. This is a casual but authentic Italian. The polenta was perfect. The tomato sauce was flavored correctly. The meatballs were as well. The fish special was ,well, special. The drinks were good. When food is this good, it is always good value for money but the prices were reasonable for central London. Briciole is one of our favorites and my wife is very demanding as she is of Italian descent and we travel there for several weeks every year. This is not fancy dining, but the food makes one think it is.

This was my second visit to Briciole. Absolutely fantastic place. The food is simply delicious, absolutely incredible. Staff are great, helpful and friendly. Love the ambience. First rate food in a relaxed atmosphere. Can not recommend highly enough.

The location is top notch, a local place feeling but also very international. I stopped by on a beautiful July evening after my conference. I didn't have a reservation and I was alone, but I figured I'd ask if he had a table for me. He sat me down a nice table outside. The odd thing about eating alone in these types of restaurants is the table is a four person table with a small divider between the other half of the table. So there is a couple sitting there talking, while I'm by myself with nothing else to do but listen to them. Fortunately, they were speaking French and I had my AirPods, so I didn't understand much of what they were saying. Anyway, the dinner was delicious, service was quick and wine is good. I recommend.

I’ve been here on a date and with a large family group and both times had a great experience. Food is authentic (recommended by my Italian friend), delicious and reasonably priced and staff are lovely. They don’t have a kids menu but basically just asked my toddler what his favourite pasta is and were SO accommodating, they even washed the kids cutlery for us which was a first!

El espacio era tan estrecho, que las sillas en las dos pequeñas - mesa de personas no podían enfrentarse entre sí - en la pequeña mesa cuadrada, las sillas estaban una al lado de la otra. Esto dificultó la colocación de los platos sobre la mesa. Esto fue desafortunado ya que la mayoría de las mesas estaban vacías y el anfitrión podría haber ofrecido fácilmente una mesa mejor. La comida estaba bien, pero no volveré ya que fue una experiencia desagradable.

Great food, great service and cozy atmosphere

Nice neighborhood Italian, great atmosphere and service. Food is very good but not great, not artistic or inspired. But as a place to get together for a moderately priced meal with friends, this place excels. Also acts as a deli. Good selection of meats and cheeses.

It's been a few years since I've been to Bricole, I used to go alot before Covid. I am so pleased to see it's still thriving! Always so friendly, helpful, excellent food and all within 9 minutes easy walk of Marylebone train station. Highly recommend.

A true corner of Italianity, where you can truly feel in Italy, the staff, the menu and the hospitality are made in Italy. The dishes are good, they cover all of Italy and are like those of a real trattoria, as are the prices: lower than the London average. Recommended and I hope to be able to return.

A Pre-Christmas celebration was as good as ever. A few new dishes on the menu such as linguine with prawn and zucchini, but the old fdavoutites are still outstanding. Bean soup lovely, pumpkin ravioli excellent. Aug 2024: Lunch last week was divine. Great food, very good friendly service. Pasta perfectly cooked. Many favourites on the menu and recommend, wild boar ragu, linguine with prawns and cherry tomatoes, or the gnocci with green peas, asparagus and pancetta. Simple dishes like Italian sausages or meat balls are delicious. Suggest a selection of anti pasti, or select your own cheese and meast dishes. Daily specials, a very good wine list. Sit outside on good days. Booking recommended. It's a keeper. Aug 2023: Still one of Marylebone's best Italian restaurants. Excellent food, great service, extensive wine list, cozy atmosphere, and convenient location. Outside tables in good weather but when its very hot inside recommended for the air conditioning. Daily specials recommended, the sausage ragu yesterday was excellent, my wife always has the Timballo de Melanzane, and our daughter loved the pumpkin ravioli. The main menu also recommended. My previous reviews below... you won't be disappointed, and you'll want to go back. Aug 22: Oh wow, just enjoyed a delicious new dish last week; Tonnarelli with mussels and pecorino cheese - its to die for. The core favourites are always delicious - try the pork cheek, but honestly you will just want to come back and try all the dishes over andd over. Good and varied wine list. On warm days outside tables are in demand. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. March 2022: Another fabulous evening in Briciole. Some new daily specials, the traditional menu still excellent, plenty of atmosphere, great service. Try the Arancino alla Norma or the especially sourced burrata. New was the fusilloni with courgette and provolone. My wife's meat balls were perfect. Desserts looked great at the next table, alas no room in my already satisfied belly. Thanks to the Bricole Team, well done as usual. Good wine list. Feb 2022: CONGRATULATIONS! Well done Briciole on celebrating 10 years of excellent food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. Noticed some new specials on the board, can't wait to try them! Dec 2021: Glad we went back. This is a really great Italian, excellent food, menu changes regularly, great wine list, friendly service. The pumpkin ravioli is excellent, as is their traditional wild boar ragu, also the meat balls. Daily specials always worth trying, today's rigatoni with aubergine, cherry tomatoes and spicy sausage was delicious. Hard to beat. Oct 2022: Note to self: Why don't I come here more often? It's been four months since dining at Briciole, and I must be crazy not to come more regularly. Freshly made pasta, delicious ravioli, great selection of various cheese and meats, and antipasti for starters. We shared the specials of rigatoni with sausage and broccoli, and ravioli with veal and Parma ham, with a celeriac puree. Honestly the taste was just marvellous. Nice wine list too. Worth a visit. Still my favourite Italian and really friendly people. July 2021: Briciole is now fully open inside, but on good days/ evenings go for an outside table. Food remains the same high quality, with a few new dishes. Recommend the daily specials- especially the burrata with smoked bassiano ham, and on this occasion the lightly grilled prawns with rocket. We had three mains between us; from the menu, gnocchi with asparagus, broad beans, green peas, the ravioli with lemon, tomato and basil sauce, and the fusilloni with yellow cherry tomatoes, anchovies, capers and burrata. All three lived up to our high expectations. Briciole sources delicious prosciutto, bresola, mozzarella, burrata from Italy, and all their cheese and meats are first class. The wild boar ragu is always very good, and my wife believes their melenzane is the best she has ever had. Probably the best Italian in Marylebone, if not London. Extensive regional wine list across the price range. Very friendly team.

We just had a wonderful lunch, Rosa our waitress was perfect, the food timing was great and she kept an eye on our drinks but was in the background to give us recommendations when needed. The food is very authentic, we love Italy and this took us back to the summer. Thank you once again for a great experience.

14 of us had the Private dining room downstairs last night the food and service were both excellent! A great variety of mixed starters, We all chose a main course from three choices, same as deserts. Great value in a very well presented area , decorated beautifully for Christmas. I will definitely use again!

I was rather disappointed. My lasagne was dry and tasteless. I think this is a place to come for the Italian atmosphere and wine rather than the quality of the cooking. Manager greets you in Italian and if you’re Italian you will certainly feel at home. But don’t expect high-class Italian fare, though to be fair that’s not what they are aiming at. Charcuterie from the deli made an adequate starter but it’s not cooking. If you are close to Edgware Road tube and want Italian fare, then give it a try. But don’t expect a wow factor.

I have been going to this restaurant for a few years. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. I just feel it’s a little over priced. £8 for one arancini is a little steep for me, especially as the are so good you need to have at least two. The wild boar ragu is superb

I ordered food for one person for lunch expecting rather marvellous food given the price. However, for the price, giving 6 pieces of ravioli in an ENORMOUS box, which was swimming in oil, clearly reheated in a microwave given that only the edges were PIPING hot and then charging £20 is daylight robbery, even for London. Had the price more accurately reflected the quality I would not have been as disappointed or harsh with my review. My service score reflects the courier who was quick and polite.

I always come to Briciole when I visit my daughter in London. It's one of our favourite restaurants. The food and service are excellent. My daughter has serious food allergies and we feel safe here, the staff are brilliant. It's also really convenient for Marylebone station . I've never had anything other than a good experience. Clearly I'm not alone in thinking this, I always book because on any given night it's full .The perfect neighborhood restaurant!

The location is good , however I prefer the family owned Italian restaurants in my area , in south east London
