We all sat down at the table and everything seemed all good when we were greeted and our drinks order was taken, things went down hill from there… it took 20 minutes to get the drinks to the table😕My boyfriend ordered a pizza off the set menu called “sticky pig” which is meant to be one of the restaurants specials… it wasn’t very special. It was a very large pizza split in half, one half has a very spicy crispy, burnt panchetta slice with some spicy chilli’s on, the other side was even worse. It was a very thin base with a huge pile of melted mozzarella, this was thicker than the pizza itself. The mozzarella was mixed in with some stuffing which was dumped on the top of the pizza. My boyfriend, who usually eats anything, couldn’t even eat this.😫 We arrived to the restaurant at 6:00, we didn’t get out food until 7:15 so the wait was very long. The kitchen forgot about a pudding we ordered so the manager had to go and shout at the kitchen staff to get out pudding. We were so unhappy, we paid the bill and left. On a good note our waiter was very nice and the manager was lovely but the rest of the staff were vile.

We have eaten at the Solihull Zizzis on many occasions and have always been happy with the restaurant. Sadly, however , our experience last week was well below par. I had booked a table and were seated quickly . We weren't asked if we wanted any drinks , which we found strange . The waitress came to take our order including drinks and our starters arrived. We waited a little while for our main course which was fine. I heard the chef say " Service please" and could see our pizza on the counter. The waitress was talking to another table , which is Ok if there's no one to serve , except there was. After a few minutes I asked her to deliver our pizza , which was done with no apology at all. There were two waitresses on that evening and at it's maximum only six occupied tables . Neither waitress circulated to see if any one wanted any thing, so when we wanted another drink I had to go to the bar and ask . Once again no apology was forthcoming. We certainly will not be going there any time soon. It was a birthday meal for my husband and really wasn't the experience I wanted at all.

Don't bother The worst restaurant I have ever been in. No customer service at all, Dirty bar piled with Glasses, Tables not cleared. Cold food and a long wait People were complaining all around us and two lots of people walked out while we were there.

The behavior we experienced from the manager was absolutely appalling. The lady was extremely rude (Dorota) Despite multiple available tables, when one of us inquired about walk-in options, she responded with a bark that could be heard from 15 meters away. Even before she approached us, while standing in the doorway, I checked Zizi's website and found multiple booking slots available. However, when she finally came to us, let's call her the "Dorota the unpleasant lady," she claimed there was no availability. We informed her that we had indeed booked a table and expected to be accommodated. Additionally, a little courtesy and a smile from the staff wouldn't hurt. The waitresses were lovely, but the issue seemed to lie with the manager(Dorota the unpleasant lady), who seemed to think she was on holiday in the Bahamas. I suggest reviewing the attire and providing some training on people management for the managers. Please bear In mind this review is not based on the quality of food, food lovely I give it a 10, but the Dorotas behavior is wrong on every level . Until she’s there : I suggest- avoid.

Started off with drinks at the bar whilst waiting for our friends to turn up. These were good but it went downhill from there. We had already been advised the fryer wasn't working, so there were a few dishes we couldn't order but this was fine. Firstly they had run out of Sea Bass and also Tomatoes which I think is needed for quite a lot of italian dishes!!! Starters were OK and then the problems started. The main courses came out one plate at a time. So our food didn't go cold we said to each other to start rather than wait for all the dishes to arrive. The Vegatarian Lasagna never came out, to which when asked by a waitress of the Chef he simply shrugged his shoulders as if to say I don't know where it is. This was all some 2 hours after we had sat down for our meal. There were only a couple of tables left in the restaurant by the time our food came so it wasn't anyone elses!!! Lasagna arrived eventually when most of us had finished our food. We ordered some more wine and the White and Rose Pinot Grigio both came out at room temperature rather than chiled. We didn't get chance to put them in the chiller to cool was the response!!! We did get 25% off and our friend that had the lasagna had it taken from the bill but we won't be rushing to eat there in the future. There where lots of staff on duty and the restaurant was quiet by time we got our mains so not sure why there was such a problem.

What a disappointing meal. They are so understaffed the 2 waitresses were running around like headless chickens. Not their fault at all but we waited half hour for our drinks and an hour for our starters. Lots of the popular dishes they had ran out of also which I don’t understand for early on a Saturday night. Had meatballs and mushrooms to start which were okay. Mains had beef ragu pasta and the ravioli. Both were horrible and we go to a lot Italian restaurants but these were very poor. Had to ask 3 members of staff for parmesan for my main which I had eaten most of it when it finally came. Had to wait ages for the bill also so ended up going up to the bar to pay. Will not be coming back.

Service A* Food average Firstly great service by Dan. Very attentive and friendly. Food brought out at the correct intervals. Food was plentiful & hot. Just found it sadly lacking in taste and bland. I had the Mushroom Crostini for starters. Bread was soggy & lacked flavour. I then had beef ragu. Just lacked taste. My husband had the Calamari which he said was lovely. He followed it with Salmon Carborona. He said it was delicious to start with but then became sickly. The decor of the restaurant was tired & unimaginative. I expected more for Solihull . Toilets need a good lick of paint but were clean though. Probably wouldn’t return. But again a big shoutout to Dan. Thank you !

Very poor value for what you get. Had lasagne 3inch/5inch slice for £16 - no salad/side or anything. Wife had Salmon salad also costing £16. Actual ingredients for the meals definately under £5 each and quality no better than ready meal from supermarket. Whole experience left us cold. Even with the benefit of Tesco vouchers, the meal was not worth what we paid. Will not be returning.

Came for Sunday dinner. Don't want to be too critical as the one girl pretty much doing everything seems rushed off her feet and seemed to be having to do it all, greeting and seating, taking orders, serving good, making and serving drinks, sorting out the stream of online delivery orders. Meant the service was incredibly slow though and took 2.5 hours to have 2 courses. My main was nice but no sign of the green beans it was supposed to come with, which they probably didn't have, but didn't mention it. They had run out of kids drinks, no sprite, no appletizer, no Lemonade, didn't tell us this until we had ordered but still charged the £4.00 for the appletizer. Destert portion for my sundae seemed very small for the £8 cost and they were all brought out individually over the space of half an hour. Couldn't blame the staff as they were polite and friendly and doing the best they could under the circumstances, but the place was mostly empty so would hate to see it busy.

I like this place as it has a good atmosphere, the tables are nicely spaced etc. Last night we had booked and the restaurant was fairly busy. It took a while for our drinks to arrive and our order to be taken. Starters were delivered after about 35 minutes, mains about 20 minutes after we had finished our starters. The food was ok although I was the second person while we were there to be served the wrong main course. There were two waitress who had to do greeting, showing to tables, serving drinks from behind the bar, taking orders, delivering food, dealing with the inevitable Deliveroo people and sending out the takeaways. It was crazy. They were rushed off their feet and also had to take customers’ payments. From what I could see there were just two people in the kitchen. So FOUR staff. Oh, there was a young man who a couple of time strolled through to stand behind the bar and have a look around. Apparently he was the General Manager. Did nothing to help - or indeed to “manage.” I felt sorry for the two waitresses who were doing their best and working really well as a team. No shortage of places to eat in Solihull and I’d hate to see this nice restaurant go under.

Popped into Zizzi in Solihull for a birthday pizza, myself and hubby. Didn’t need to book as being a Wednesday it was fairly quiet. Ordered a pizza campagne to share as waitress did say they were extremely big. Well, it came fairly quickly, looked completely flat and uninspiring. There was ham, minimal pepperoni, no jalapeños, and minimal cheese. It was warm but even hot as was expected. All in all it was without doubt the worst pizza I’ve ever had, and therefore won’t be returning again in the future.

Today was my first time at Zizzis we had a family meal pre booked and was looking forward to it until we arrived when we was informed they didn’t have half the meals or desserts we had pre ordered following this the service was terrible had to ask multiple times for cutlery and sauces and I even waited an hour for my daughters Apple just which never turned up I have to say I’m disappointed and will never return completely ruined a family birthday meal who ever was in charge of staffing knew we had a big table and ignored it leaving 2 members of staff complete lack of organisation will never go back and I’d advise anyone reading this to not even waste your time as I didn’t see one table smile or having a good time

Visited with a friend and the restaurant was quite quiet. Went to order a glass of rose to be told they had run out of that wine. No problem, this happens so ordered a pineapple spritz. Waited and waited and waited for about 15 minutes while seeing other people get their drinks order. Meanwhile our starters came (the crispy chicken which was just OK - think it was frozen and heated up). Asked the waitress what had happened to my pineapple spritz to be told that they'd run out of the pineapple essence needed to make the drink. Couldn't they have told me that? Ordered a white wine instead - third time lucky - they had this in stock!! Ordered main course of pasta to be told they didn't have the right shaped pasta for the dish so would I accept another shaped pasta. Yes of course. Dish arrived and it was bang average. Friend really enjoyed her chicken calabrese though. Dessert menu - there was more that they didn't have in stock than they had so we didn't bother. To be fair, they took the price of my drink off the meal because I had waited so long. It's a shame as it could be good and the staff were all very friendly, but they'd run out of so many things and the food was average at best.

Service great to start with. Waited 1hr 20mins for mains. Looked across to the open kitchen to see 2 very young waitresses catering for a full restaurant throwing food into the ovens . No chef in sight. We left. A year before we booked a table and was refused entry by staff as there was a chef sick. Very disappointing. Will never eat here again . Avoid avoid avoid!

Compared to our previous visits....Pre covid the whole experience was a let down. Half hour wait before we were even asked what drink we wanted. Food took ages to arrive when it did it wasn't to the standard of the price. My partners main King prawn linguine had a lobster sauce 5 years ago this time not included. We wanted dessert and the wait was too long to firstly for the menu then to be asked what we wanted we decided to just ask for the bill. The staff didn't seen to know what they were meant to be doing. One person on bar duty, one was actually bringing out the meals the rest walking about or just stood behind the bar. Overall our evening out was ruined by this experience. Take me back 5 years ago and it would be 10/10 . We won't be going back

Well I have never been to this restaurant before and will certainly not be going again. I visited at 1.30 pm with a friend. There were only 3 other tables occupied so the restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered from the lunch menu which was £23.95 for three courses. We both ordered the Caprese Salad to start. What arrived was a plate full of sliced cherry tomatoes and garlic. There was no Buffalo Mozzarella. We called the waiter who told us they had no Buffalo Mozzarella but he had forgotten to mention it! He offered other cheese that they use on the pizzas but said he would have to put it in the microwave to soften it. He then offered some avocado which we accepted. What arrived was half an avocado between the two of us. The main meal I ordered was a brief ragu. This was surely a misnomer. There was no beef at all just a brown sauce over large pasta shapes. The only good point was the desert. Overall, this was a disgusting meal. We finally accepted one free glass of wine and one free coffee which we had to argue for. If I had not been with my friend I would have refused to pay at all.

Wonderful food spoilt by miserable staff. Unfortunately Zizi still thinks we are in 2020 at the height of a pandemic and are still not accepting cash. It’s 2 years later. You can go to a packed Wembley stadium shoulder to shoulder with someone and pay cash for your food and drinks but at zizi with 20 tables you can’t pay cash. Sort it out.

Met up with good friends. Lovely restaurant with beautiful decor. Staff friendly and menu quite vast. The food was amazing, chicken so tender and great portion size. Cannot fault the food in anyway and would definitely go back. The only negative I have is that as soon as you walk in the door you are told card payments only. There should be a choice of how you pay.

However we were given another menu for £20 for 3 courses on anyway which was a larger menu for the same price?The food was excellent and service was efficient. Absolutely amazing meal. We had a Buyagift voucher for a 3 course meal for two. To start we had the Burrata which was absolutely amazing, never tasted cheese like it, the Bruschetta was also beautiful, just enough pesto on there.The spicy wild boar meatballs are very tasty and very meaty, had a really nice kick to them. Desert I’d recommend the brownie, it was absolutely beautiful.Fully enjoyed our meal, will definitely return

Service ~ Excellent service and attentive waiter without being overbearing. No chicken available and told card payments only on arrival and then asked if anyone had any allergies. Food~ Starter of prawns for me was slightly disappointed would be better served with some bread for dipping in the sauce that came with it (5 prawns nearly £8) husband had calamari and he said it was very good.Mains~ I had rib of beef which should have come with cheese potatoes al forno but it came sat on top of chips we had waited a long time for it so I just got on with it but disappointing that I was t asked if I wanted chips. Rib of beef very fatty would not order it again. Hubby had spag Bol he said it was ok.Dessert~ we asked for salted honey cheesecake only 1 slice left so I had pina colada sundae and it was lovely. Hubby’s cheesecake was very nice as well.With a coke and a spring water it came to £66- would I go again….probably not we only visited as was using up converted Tesco club card vouchers. I certainly don’t think it was worth £66 and would prefer a little independent restaurant if I’d been paying without the vouchers. You can tell it’s a chain and corporate as menu lacks anything that jumps out at you. I gave it 3/5 as it’s pretty average and nothing special. However service was 5/5

Our first visit to Zizzi's in 18 months was such a disappointment. When we arrived at 1.00pm on a weekday there was no one else dining; that should have told us something. The first greeting was 'We only take credit cards, do you have any allergies' - not the sort of initial greeting that wins friends and influences people. The two or three other couples who came in while we were there had exactly the same greeting.The menu is now much more limited (understandable due to difficulties getting staff). One of us had the pan-seared salmon salad; so disappointing as it was so overloaded with potatoes and the salmon was supposed to have been 'brushed with rose harissa.' As they didn't have any rose harissa a bowl of dressing was brought instead - basically chopped fiery red chillies in oil, totally inedible.The dessert of lemon meringue sundae was also poor.After many years of going to Zizzi Solihull, we won't be returning.

The food at all Zizzi's is OK but like their drink prices overpriced. Our server was friendly enough, service was good (there were only 5 other diners on a Tuesday lunchtime). Food was hot and quite good. Probably wouldn't eat at any Zizzi if it wasn't for Tesco vouchers, just too expensive.

Visited Zizzi tonight for dinner after quite a while as previously we were disappointed with the service , well once again they didn’t disappoint with there complete apathy to the paying customer . It’s a real shame because the food was excellent but when you need to go upto the bar to order drinks twice and on the second occasion nothing transpired it’s a bit of dampener on the evening , I don’t think we’ll be rushing back

Monday lunchtime visit. Not very busy and not the friendliest service. Server very keen for us to use the app to order - decided not to as had particular request. Food was nicely presented and tasty. Good value with Tastecard. Wish Zizzi would do a lunch menu - I can't be the only one who thinks standard menu is too expensive for the lunch crowd.

This particular ZiZi's used to be low lit, comfortable, attentitivly staffed.Disappointed to see its modern make over which has lost its relaxing feel and moving it towards the Pizza hut style of dining. I appreciatte thats only a personal opinion, but the world already has the Hut, Zizi's should be aiming to be different not trying to follow.Atmosphere aside, we actually had a pretty awful meal. The pizza's are fine really, but we had massive issues with the vegan version.We have had these before and they used to be good. But last nights was awful. We ordered vegan Rustica Margerita with added veg. The base was fine and tomato sauce was good, But there was far too much vegan cheese, (which is an expensive ingredient) and far too little vegetable toppings, (a cheap ingredient) . Hardly any onion, half a mushroom, and only a couple of olives, if these were chopped they would have gone further! We ordered chips that never came, and the suposedly vegan garlic bread may not have been?We also ordered millionaires chocolate cake that was a dentists delight of chocolate flavoured slab of sugar. Not recommended.Sorry ZiZi's, didn't like your atmosphere, non attentive staff or vegan food. A shame.

Not been here in a whilst so decided to visit and you can now eat inside. My wife has serious allergy issues however always felt safe at Zizzi and the staff are always great.I do not have a smart phone and do not understand apps so explained this on arrival. Told there is no problem otherwise we would have left and not returned. Surely we can not be the only little old couple who struggle with tech.Food was piping hot and very well presented. I had the lasagna and I loved it Good range of drinks and 10/10 for all the lovely staff. See you in a couple of weeks.

Having made a booking, arrived on time to be met by the manager. He was Covid obsessed and despite it was clear we were not great with the IT required to fulfill his critera he refused to allow us to book in using pen and paper so we left and went elsewhere . Luckily we went to the Beech house just around the corner which was fantastic. Perhaps the manager should visit there to learn a little customer service.

We are delighted that this branch of Zizi's has re-opened following lockdown as we have always enjoyed eating here. Food has always been excellent and staff have been friendly and efficient.Four of us were booked for lunch and we had a very pleasant afternoon with well cooked food and good range of drinks.However,whilst we understand the need for more self-ordering during the Covid problems,we have been disappointed at the way we have been directed to ordering ourselves via the menu code using our phones.Two of our Android phones did not work in this way and the system does not allow for personal preferences and dislikes including my wish to change the pasta option and my dislike of cheese.If we are going out to a restaurant we do not want to spend our time ordering on our phones(when able to do so!) and providing credit card details when someone else may be paying.Frankly,we could have just asked our server much quicker and easier our requirements.This is obviously a scheme which has cost a great amount to introduce and will basically result in cost savings by reducing staff numbers to the detriment of customer service.We will not continue to visit this restaurant if we are forced down a "self service"route and will try the newly opened Cote chain. If Zizi's want us to we can cook our own food,serve ourselves and not bother with service of any kind!

I visited the restaurant with my husband, 3 grown up children and my mother on a Monday night, to celebrate my daughter getting a job. It was our first visit to a restaurant since lockdown so we were not sure what to expect. The whole experience was made really easy, from the friendly staff, the ease of ordering on the app of all food and drinks and paying on the app too. The food was delicious and we were provided with boxes to take the leftovers home in. We felt completely safe the whole time and for a while just relaxed and forgot about the outside world. Well done Zizzi we will definitely be back soon

We had to take a photo of our table number and order over the app, although strangely the waiter took our drinks order. I also ordered a take away for my husband and that was written down. We had the same procedure for ordering sweets and paying bill. I must stress the staff were helpful and patient but it was too much hassle for these two oldies. We can away feeling quite stressed.

We ordered a takeaway from Zizzi and overall, the general quality of the food was highly disappointing. ❌Upon collection, the pizzas were half cold, meaning we had to heat them up after we returned home.The quality of the food was terribly low. The pizza lacked flavour and the quality of the garlic bread meant that it was almost devoid of taste. We also requested extra toppings (which we paid extra for) which, when viewing the pizza, were meagrely applied and highly ungenerous.I would NOT recommend this restaurant due to the overall low quality of the food and the lack of value received for what we paid.

We have just had the best meal and greeted by very welcoming staff in these sad and uncertain times. Josh was our man and very attentive. Definitely recommend this Zizzi. We have always thought this is the best setting anyway. A lovely place and well worth a day or night here.

Appalling service. So slow that we waited 40 minutes from a shared starter for mains. Sat with empty drinks glasses on table for 15 mins without seeing any staff who were all fawning over another employee eating there. Lazy inattentive staff resulted dreadful service. Then they had the nerve to add 10% tip to the bill which we had to ask for twice. Waited ages for staff to come over with a card machine. Then waited to have tip removed. Never been anywhere with such dreadful service. AVOID

Went there 12 August with my two adult children. 1. Waited ages for starter , garlic bread where was the garlic very dry not nice calamari ok. 2. Waited at least 40 minutes for main course ,son had rustic pizza once again dry , my daughter had lasagna she loved that also cheese and garlic bread with caramelised onions which tasted like a Branson pickle on top this was still very dry I had linguini with chorizo in a fabulous sauce . 3. Pricey for the food .Staff very good . This is my account and I always say we all have different experiences and expectations, won’t be going again.

Went for Mother's Day meal as family away next week. Service was good up having main meal... after main meal waiter asked us if we would like desserts and left menus. The five of us all chose our dessert and coffees and waited and waited after waving to waiter who looked at us and walked passed. I was really annoyed that 15 minutes later I had to get up from our table and go to the till to say we are annoyed that we've had to come to till after 15 minutes waiting to be served coffee and desserts that we now don't want to wait any longer and would like the bill. Instead of an apology he replied ok turned and walked off and sent a girl over with the bill. Really annoyed.

We visited here because we have had several consecutive bad experiences at another chain located in Solihull and I’m pleased to say we were not disappointed with Zizzi.It was a freezing cold day and it was cosy and welcoming on entry. Staff were really friendly and helpful.Menu is good and reasonably priced. Service was efficient.Food was great and really tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I took a friend for lunch on Friday and had the Fixed Price option. It was absolutely superb. Really delicious - probably the best pizzas we had ever had. Crispy bases with lovely ham and mushrooms, freshly cooked and piping hot.The Bufala Caprese - mozzarella and tomato salad to start with was refreshing and the Tiramisu to finish was a delight...and all 3 courses for £13.95 - a gift , YOU must go. The atmosphere is pleasant too as are the staff who are really helpful and friendly. So thank you Zizzi's Solihull, we shall return!

I had a red letter voucher from my daughter which I used to book a meal at Zizzi, I was welcomed by Iris who took us to our table and then brought our drinks over and then we order our meal it was a four course meal so first we had some Olives, and then we ordered Garlic king size prawns which was so delicious,then we had slow cooked pork belly in chilli sauce again delicious with our glass of red wine and then we had dessert which I just couldn’t resist the chocolate and fudge pudding which was sooo gorgeous with vanilla ice cream, the service was really nice with a smile, just before iris finished her shift she came over to say if everything was ok and yes it was a beautiful evening Thank you so much to everyone there from the chef to the staff for a beautiful evening meal.

Good food although my calzone a little dry around the edges. Wife had the seafood skewers and really enjoyed it. Dessert was lovely. However here you always have to chase the waiting staff if you want to order and the service can be a bit slow but hasn’t put us off coming again.

Four of us came for lunch. The pizzas used to be loaded with topping and very tasty - not any more. Huge pizza, large area of bare crust, thin insipid topping. Why not do a pizza half the size but put the same amount of topping on? Won't be rushing back.

My son bought us a buy a gift voucher which we used today,. So disappointed, took the menu away when we presented the voucher and came back with a basic set menu. Pizza, pasta or £5.00 extra for chicken... there were 4 other people in the restaurant during our visit but I had to go the bar to interrupt their chat to get attention! Apparently I should have waved!! With 4 other people dining I thought they would have it covered without calling for attention. Very poor service. No wonder they were quiet, wouldn’t recommend. So cross, our treat was spoilt by their lack of interest! Oh and we spent £30 on wine and liqueurs on top of the voucher.... so not looking for a completely free lunch!!

We visited as a party of five for my 10 year olds birthday. Now normally one thing zizzi is really good at is their service, we h\ad to keep asking waitresses for drinks order, pepper, cheese, more drinks, the bills etc etc. The service was terribly slow painful actually. We had a different/waiter/waitress each time we grabbed who we could. Note is was nor particularly busy 1pm Saturday afternoon restaurant not even 1/2 full. Staff wouldn't make eye contact one woman shorter tied back dark hair was borderline rude actually like we were a total inconvenience. Glad were were just visiting this wasn't our local.

Not a great experience! After we arrived we were essentially ignored for some time. We eventually managed to order drinks, which included a bottle of white wine. We had expected a ice bucket to keep it chilled, since other customers had one....but did not get one until we asked. Even then the waiter was quite rude in his demeanour and response...like he was doing us some huge favour (customer service?). We then ordered food. My sons both ordered the same. When the orders arrived one of my sons pizzas had pepperoni on it, the other did not. When we asked for this to be rectified, again the waiter looked as if he was put out and muttered an inaudible apology under his breath...although it was rectified. It then came to dessert, again the waiter got the order wrong but rather than immediately putting it right he hesitated in the hope that I would accept the incorrect dessert to avoid the kitchen having to make the dessert I DID actually order. It was very embarrassing and uncomfortable. I did eventually received my dessert. The final nail in the coffin was when we got overcharged. By this point I had given up all hope and decided that since it was only a few pounds it was not worth the trouble of bringing it to the waiters attention. Overall not a great experience, everything was delayed, food was nothing to write home about, service was appalling and I would not recommend this restaurant.

It was really busy for a Midweek evening which is always encouraging. The food was lovely and not too expensive. The staff were friendly and attentive. The only drawback was the wait for food. We waited over 30 mins for staters and well over 30 mins for mains. The staff did explain that the kitchen was short staffed but that was after we asked what was taking so long. To be fair she waived the second round of drinks from the bill as we had waited so long and I don’t like to give negative feedback so please don’t let this put you off. Note to staff if there are delays, let customers know! Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

My husband and I had a money off voucher so decided to give it a try. We were REALLY pleased that we did as we had an excellent meal. We decided we would forego a starter and went straight on to the main course. The service was lovely and quick and the meals hot, well presented, really tasty and sufficient in quantity. There was quite a large party in but that did not mean that we had to wait for anything. The waiting staff were attentive and there when needed. We I’ll definately go back again.

Although the staff were helpful and the food that we were able to order was fairly tasty, we were told that the lamb shank and the lasagne were unavailable, "it's Sunday" was the explanation. So after a very acceptable cheese fondue and garlic bread, we continued with a rather bland "Spag Bol" which had much too much sauce in it. I hate to damn you with faint praise, but the potential is there to make me want to come back, though compared to some of your other restaurants yours is a bit of a disappointment.

Dined here yesterday with a friend. Only 6 people in the restaurant plus us two and we still waited nearly 30 mins for dessert and had to ask for the bottle of water we’d ordered as that had been forgotten. Two waitresses for 8 people! Don’t know how they would cope if there was a rush! My friends calzone dessert was dry and lacked filling. Not the best experience for an early Monday lunchtime.

Visited the Solihull branch on an early Friday evening, walked in the restaurant wasn’t very busy, was seated ordered drinks and then waitress took our order, we ordered the antipasto grande board to start followed by our mains. Then we waited and waited and waited by this time the quiet restaurant began to get a little busy but we still hadn’t received our starters, we then watched tables which came in after us receiving their meals, 40mins went by and still no starters! We and my partner were looking back at the kitchen to see if it was being repaired and looking back at each other confused to then having the waitress that took our order come over and say “oh sorry I forgot to put your order through!” Me and my partner were very annoyed and all the waitress could offer us was our drinks for free which is disgusting considering we’ve waited 40mins and only had one round of drinks which only totalled to only £6! I would at least expect the starter to be taken off the bill than 2 soft drinks for waiting so long! Me and my partner got up put our coats on and left. Never again, plenty of better service from other restaurants in Solihull

Visited recently to try Zizzi's new Festive Menu, and oh what a treat! I usually can't resist a Pizza Rustica, in my opinion the best outside of Italy, but on this occasion decided to opt for the Pork Belly Arrosto and Brownettone. Melt city!! Love this branch of the Zizzi chain as we have never been disappointed with food quality or service which have always been very good.It is only a short distance away from Touchwood and Solihull main square but it is definitely worth visiting.My favourite dish is pollo prosciutto(my friends prefer the meatballs) and the ruby chocolate cheesecake is wonderful.There is a wide choice of typical Italian meals and good peroni beers available.The branch offers various meal deals and discounts.
