Alex at the doors was a delight! I came in tonight without a reservation and waited for friends, she offered a table and very shortly moved me before my friends arrived to offer better and more spacious table which we loved! She was incredibly welcoming and kept checking on us throughout the evening, easily cracking jokes with the rest of my party too making us feel very comfortable. Our first time at Brindisa and definitely not last after the experience tonight. Rest of the team who looked after us did a great job too and we can't wait to be back soon. It's a place I like very much, only the employees are very grumpy people. Even though there were many empty tables, they said there was no room, and when I passed by 2 hours later, I saw that the table was still empty. I asked again and they said there was no room again. However, it is a place that I love very much. Their drinks are very nice 👍

We’ve spent an incredible 2 hours sitting outside by the river with amazing spanish food and great service! We’ve had the sharing board, and it was spotless. My husband ate all the padron peppers before i could get to them 😅🙌🏻

Unfortunately you’re mostly paying for the view and location. The food isn’t that amazing for the price it’s sold. Service and atmosphere were nice! We paid £180 for 2, tapas and carafe of the cheapest wine. So… quite expensive in my opinion

our waitress Jada was phenomenal with all the best recommendations, and very attentive. food was unreal, all in all was a wonderful experience. the cheesecake is definitely a 10/10. the special churros were also amazing, i think they should be added to the permanent menu.

We just wanted to enjoy a drink and some snacks outside—surely that’s not too much to ask? Especially with an empty terrace! First, they told us they don’t accept walk-ins, so I had to make a reservation. Fine. Then, they warned us about a long wait for food, which I was happy to accept. But in the end, they refused to serve food outside—despite other tables being served. The service was beyond frustrating; it honestly felt like they were trying to turn customers away. Keep up the good work, your restaurant will be replaced with another set of high end apartments soon at this rate!

We went for a family dinner with my parents. We used to go to the Ivy for family meals, but that’s lost its appeal as the chain has expanded. Brindisa seemed like a nice alternative. We’re big fans of good tapas and Brindisa didn’t disappoint. Service was prompt and attentive, despite the restaurant being full, and each dish was prepared with skill and care. The wine list is great, although a little pricey. Overall it’s great value for such quality and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Would highly recommend.

I love this place due to the location and size. Not as cramped. ..but the fried goat cheese at the Soho branch is much better. The portion size here is much smaller and not made the same way. The truffle arinchini was delicious - we liked it so much we order it twice as well as the tortilla!

Outstanding service and great food.. The team there made our friend’s 60th birthday dinner so special. They went above and beyond and could not have been more professional. The food was extraordinary as always, we have been a number of times and never been disappointed. I would say as foodies, the best Tapas restaurant we have been to.Our friends were blown away with the quality of food and wine… think you have gained a few more regular customers……

Pretty average. The artichoke was too greasy and not tasty, the fish was okay, and the lamb rack was decent. The freshly squeezed apple juice doesn’t seem authentic—too sweet and clear.

Very rarely post a negative review. The staff were friendly, but we had to ask for cutlery on numerous occasions, the portion sizes considering the prices were incredibly small, the flavours were underwhelming and all in all we left with a huge bill and were still hungry

Vinimos a cenar. Teníamos entrantes, un plato fuerte y un postre. Los entrantes y postres eran agradables, pero para el plato principal un amigo y yo tuvimos la remolacha stifado. Estaba muy sabroso pero el problema era la falta de carne. Era principalmente masa y patata. La camarera me preguntó si lo estábamos disfrutando y le hablé de la falta de carne. Ella nos ofreció una alternativa, pero para entonces ya habíamos comido la mitad de ella y no podíamos haber manejado otro plato principal.

Food was excellent but quite pricey. I especially enjoyed the cheese board, mainly to myself 😂 house red was good. A pardon pepper was so hot it nearly felled me but apart from that all was excellent.

Went there on Sunday afternoon with my friends. We ordered cheese and charcuteries boards. The meats were dry like exposed for a long time. Would also have rather had selections of cheese from Waitrose/M&S.

Ordered 7 dishes and 2 cappuccino. Most dishes were disappointing except the croquettes and octopus. Other food was either cold or plain. I’d say it is definitely overpriced. Service was pretty good though, and the atmosphere was nice.

favourite restaurant in Richmond, such beautiful food and a lovely setting by the river. I have been many times. Octopus served with bone marrow is INCREDIBLE (sadly ran out for our final visit here before moving countries, so I tried the broad bean dish with manchengo and truffle, also great)!

Food is standard Brindisa fare, always solid. Although feels very expensive for what you're getting, Richmond branch prices may even be more than Soho!

Not worth it!!! We waited 40 minutes for the waiter to bring us some tap water and to take our food and drinks order. When he eventually took our order, he took a large table’s order immediately afterwards (they had arrived 20 mins after us). Our waiter then lost our order- which another waiter informed us about. We were there nearly an hour before the drinks and food arrived. Food is delicious but expensive for what you get. For example, The arriz negro had 5 small pieces of calamari on. I wouldn’t rush back!

Vinimos aquí el año pasado, esperamos más de una hora y luego admitieron que se olvidaron de hacer nuestro pedido, tomaron el pedido de nuevo y después de otra larga espera dijeron que no tenían lo que pedí. Terminé corriendo a León a comer mientras mi esposo terminaba su pizza. Pensé en intentarlo otra vez esta noche. Gran error. Esperaron siglos para empezar, sabían bien pero muy tacaños con salsas e ingredientes. Pedí una pizza "construye tu propia". La base llegó quemada y dura como una roca. Las coberturas se agregaron tan increíblemente tacaño, y faltaron dos (pero me cobraron por todas). No podía comer la mitad de la pizza porque era muy difícil. El precio de todo esto era absurdo para la cantidad de comida que realmente comimos. El tipo que parecía estar a cargo dijo que el gluten - base libre a veces va duro. ¡En otros restaurantes no! Creo que debería haber hecho un descuento en esa pizza, especialmente porque había olvidado algunos de los ingredientes. Ventajas: Un par del personal joven es muy agradable - amable y atento. Nunca volverá.

Fantástica noche, buena comida y personal fantástico. El italiano no es mi primera opción a diferencia de la señora. La comida era fresca, sabrosa y muy buena, pero fue el personal que lo hizo una experiencia fantástica y volvería mañana debido a lo bienvenido que nos hizo el personal. Equipo brillante. Nuestro camarero estuvo en su día de 1 calle y será un excelente activo para la empresa junto con los demás.

We were a party of 8 celebrating my birthday and we all had a fabulous time - the service was absolutely brilliant and ensured we all had a wonderful evening and the food was so lovely and very tasty! When I visited I found Thea menu to be small but varied ! There were lots of other people dinning making it a nice atmosphere.

Came recently for a birthday meal and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We sat outside on a sunny evening with a lovely view of the riverside. The food was lovely, I particularly enjoyed the sardines and the croquetas, as was the sangria. The service was also very friendly and attentive. We hope to be back soon!

Sin embargo, el servicio era totalmente al azar. Solo un servidor que era educado pero completamente inconsciente del cliente. 4.3 Overall the experience at Brindisa is pretty good. The food is of a decent quality, although no dish was exceptional, but all were ok. We visited on a warm, sunny evening so the restaurant was busy and the service was a little slow. A corked bottle of wine was swiftly exchanged with no quibble. One of our party is a coeliac, and whilst the restaurant does have a good awareness of its allergens and has plenty of gluten free options ordering them is much more complicated than it needs to be. The information is presented as a large document with a list of all the menu items, including many not on the current menu, this list then has to be cross referenced to the actual menu which our guest found quite stressful.

Absolutely shocked by the appalling service I have just received. Maitre d' was totally disinterested & rude. 8 empty tables outside but apparently they were booked but remained empty for more than 20 mins. Offered a table inside, numerous empty by the window but again told that these were reserved. Decided to leave. Zero customer care.

I’ve been to this restaurant near London Bridge and Borough many times, but this visit was really disappointing. We arrived and stood at the entrance, waiting to be seated, as the sign instructed. But no one came to help us. The place wasn’t busy, and two staff members walked right past us without even a smile or a simple greeting. We even tried to get their attention, but they just passed us like we were invisible. When the first person passed by, we thought maybe she had something else to do, so we waited for the second one, assuming she’d help. But she walked right by us too. I’m not sure if they were supposed to be the hosts, but it would have been nice if they at least acknowledged us or let us know when someone would be available. It’s just basic courtesy. I really hope the manager or whoever’s in charge steps in and makes sure the staff understands the importance of good customer service. You might want to check your cameras from around 4:30 PM today to see what I’m talking about.

I came here for lunch with my brother. We shared the mozzarella and garlic bomb with hot honey to begin and it was really delicious and we both loved it. As a main, my brother chose the chicken milanese and I ordered the salmon and avocado salad - substituting the fish for prawns. Our mains were fine but I would say that the food is quite average in general. We both agreed we enjoyed the starter the most.

The Good: what food there was, was cooked very well and the flavors were on point and delicious. The Bad: The prices were insane for the amount of food you get. As someone very used to fine dining, I am used to quality over quantity, but when you order a 250g steak and you get maybe 40g of bone and grissled meat, it's quite disappointing. And then ordering a lamb cheese with 1/3rd of the portion as the rind, is utterly inexcusable. The staff was inattentive and hard to chase down, and if you are operating a fine dining experience, it isn't appropriate to stack dirty dishes and cutlery on the table in front of guests. Overall, I feel that Brindisa needs to pick a lane. They don't have the presentation to be upper tier, so they shouldn't charge as if they were. Sadly I could not recommend, despite the lovely and convenient location.

Food was nice. Sat on terrace had to try get someone’s attention to order nobody was bothered lots of staff but nobody serving. Food came nobody smiled nobody checked how food was had to ask twice fr bill 13.5% service charge for basically no service in a fairly expensive restaurant serving “nice” food not sure would go back which is a shame as not been before and wanted to go for ages

My partner and I cycled by on Wednesday eve to enjoy a drink by the river. Alex accommodated us with a table outside even though we hadn't made a reservation and it was clear that they were busy. She was delightful. The beer was perfect and we had a dish of olives that were divine. We didn't eat but observed plates of fabulous food being delivered to other guests. While we were there we observed an angry customer giving Alex a hard time because he had been waiting some distance from the entrance and hadn't been attended to. His behaviour was totally unjustified, unfortunately a case of a wealthy elderly gentlemen with a sense of entitlement. When I mentioned it was partner's 70th birthday she sweetly offered him a cake with a candle and when he declined, brought us 2 small glasses of prosecco to celebrate his birthday. Alex made us feel very welcome. I am going back in a couple of weeks' time with some girlfriends to sample the cocktails and the gorgeous looking dishes they were serving!

Amazing food experience with real italian cuisine. Lovely Staff, and all together a 5 star experience without a doubt. The 4 kids in the age of 7 to 16 loved it. Definetly going back before leaving Richmond. Big thanks to Daniel Who took such good care of us.

Great choice near the river. Good Spanish tapas on a nice terrace in a very relax atmosphere. Monica the supervisor kindly accommodated my wife with her food restrictions and was great with us making us feel at home. Great service, great spot, very good food at a good price. Speedy service. We had an amazing dining experience here! They were super accommodating, arranging us to drink at the bar whilst they sorted a table outside. Our server was Jada was brilliant and lovely! She really added to the great experience. And finally food was 10/10! Really recommend the chicken thighs, prawns and chorizo! We had 8 plates between 4 of us and it was a really good portion!

Should be four stars, but every time we come here the taps are empty? The only draught available is the Alhambra Reserva. I have gone up to the bar to ask for one of the more interesting looking beers on three occasions now to be told, 'that is not on - we only have the one'. Please cover your taps to indictate that they are out of service or if you are concerned about appearance then place a note over the pumpclip for every beer that is not available. It becomes misleading when you are advertising something that is consistently unavailable.

The food is ok, nothing remarkable. The prices are very high compared to the portion size and quality of food. The location is great and I guess the prime riverfront location is priced in. But nevertheless, I left slightly hungry and much poorer.

The service at Tapas Brindisa Richmond left us totally disappointed and disrespected. Whilst the younger waiting staff were delightful and helpful, the senior management fell short. The lady in charge hesitated to seat us where we preferred, despite an empty section. Our attempts at friendliness were met with indifference. Now, let's talk about the food. Visually, the dishes were appealing, but unfortunately, they didn't capture the true essence of Spanish flavors. It left us wanting more authenticity. Back to the service, the man in charge was rude and dismissive when we needed assistance or wanted to place an order. He even tossed our receipt onto the table without a word. We couldn't help but wonder how these individuals work in hospitality. Despite our politeness, we felt mistreated. It's worth noting that we observed a discrepancy in their treatment of different customers, which left us questioning their professionalism. In summary, if you're seeking excellent service or truly authentic Spanish cuisine, Tapas Brindisa might not be the best choice. However, for a drink and a view of Richmond Riverside, it's worth a visit.

Beautiful Riverside restaurant, but extremely poor customer service and terrible food. Unbelievably expensive too. We paid £100 for 5 small tapas plate and a jug of drink. We didn't mind it, if we had enjoyed the food. The waiters do not make you feel welcomed. Such a shame.

Really nice food once you get familiar with the tapas menu and figure out what and how much to order. Some dishes are better value than others, but they're all good and seem (to me) to be authentically Spanish.

Vegetarian and vegan options are limited. Portions are small for steep prices. Service was great however, the people are lovely, it's rather the food that let us down.

Upon arrival, my husband and I joined a short line behind another couple. Several staff members walked by without acknowledging us, despite there being numerous empty tables, both reserved and unreserved. I believe it was empty because it was only 5:30 PM on a Sunday. A blonde employee, who seemed to be in charge, approached the couple in front of us and seated them promptly. When she turned to us, she asked if we had a reservation. After learning we didn't, she flatly stated there were no available tables for the next 30 minutes. When I agreed to wait, she added, "I can't guarantee anything," in a dismissive tone. Suspecting something was amiss, I checked the restaurant's website and saw multiple available slots. We decided to have my husband try alone, and surprisingly, she offered him a table right away. When I joined him, she pointed to a high table and said, "But there's only this one," with a tone implying it was undesirable. I questioned her about other available tables, which were clearly not reserved. Despite this rocky start, the other staff members were friendly and attentive, especially to our dog. We ordered eight tapas, two drinks, and a dessert, staying for about an hour. Throughout our meal, many tables remained empty, contradicting the initial unavailability claim. I took photos upon arrival and departure to show the numerous empty tables. As someone experienced in customer service, I know how crucial first impressions are. The initial interaction with the blonde employee was disappointing and set a negative tone. Friendliness and a welcoming attitude are essential in customer service. While the rest of the staff provided excellent service, this experience underscores the need for consistent hospitality from all team members. I am sharing my experience because I don’t think this can be left aside; businesses can only improve if we share our experiences. It's unfortunate that one person's poor attitude overshadowed what could have been a delightful dining experience.

Really great little Zizzi ! We went for my boyfriend’s family meal. The service was fantastic, all the waiters were so kind, helpful and patient. The food we had was really good. Gluten-free and vegan options. Probably the best Zizzi I’ve been to. Lovely food and staff who care.

Attended the Andalucia Supper Club last night not really knowing what to expect and was more than pleasantly surprised.... Juan our Andalucian food and wine expert, talked us through the wines and cuisine of this beautiful part of Spain. I am not sure why Brindisa stands out from the numerous chains of restaurants in London, but they do. The food, well I have never been disappointed on the contrary the food has always been exceptional. I have taken many friends, over the years to Brindisa and they simply get it right. Their staff are welcoming, warm and basically it is like returning home. Juan was a super host, mingling with the guests giving more insights into the cuisine, the wine, topping all of us up with the varying wines we tried. I loved the mixture of people, we spent time talking, laughing and exchanging phone numbers. I would greatly recommend not only Brindisa but if your looking for something slightly different for a night out then go to one of the supper clubs, I definitely will be going to more.. So thank you Brindisa for an amazing, unforgettable night. Thank you for always getting it right and Juan this one is for you, you rocked!! Keep it up. I visited this place for the second time, trying to have a good time and feel like home but unfortunately, I found the front of house to be rude and unprofessional. The way she speaks to clients is unpleasant, coming across as arrogant and disrespectful. I really feel this needs to be looked out as looking after client should be primordial, and rude staff will make them not want to come back.

Very disappointing visit - average food, aloof inattentive service and a surly, disinterested lady as the front of house. We used to love Brandisa chain and its restaurants across London. The Richmond restaurant was a welcome addition and we visited a few times in the past. Will be avoiding in the future.

Had dinner here on a Thursday night, was a lively atmosphere. They were busy but service and food were excellent. We had 6/7 plates and no mains. Not cheap but as whole I think worth it.
