Dining in experience was absolute quality but what really made the night was the service of that tall Moroccan looking fella. Exceptional!

Great experience! We had the American pizza with pepperoni and it was absolutely delicious – thin crust, tasty ingredients, and perfectly cooked. I can’t eat gluten, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, adapting the whole menu for me. I had a starter, pizza, and dessert, all gluten-free and all amazing. Highly recommended, especially for coeliacs or anyone with dietary needs. Will definitely be back!

Any visit to Pizza Express, Richmond is enhanced for me by their best member of staff, Iza, whose exemplary, friendly service is embodied in an extremely personable young lady for whom nothing is too much trouble.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 30 years. The pizzas are excellent and Iza is just a fantastic host. 10/10. Only criticism is the daft decision to remove Peroni Gran Reserve from the menu. What an own goal! The online feedback from sent afterwards had glitches so couldn't complete the Q&A

Came in for a quick bite to eat and at first wasn’t expecting too much from a chain HOWEVER the service was absolutely fantastic. Iza was a perfect server who gave us the exact amount of attention we needed. She checked up on us and made sure the food was ok but did not harass us constantly like other restaurants would. On National Pizza Day, the General Manager, Marcus, refused to honour the offer of a free margarita pizza for those wearing “stripy tops”. Our entire family, including children, were wearing stripy tops - albeit not black and white stripes. He was then astonishingly rude to my wife when she showed him the email to challenge his assertion that it was only for those wearing black and white stripes (not stated anywhere on the offer email). In my life I have never seen such rude treatment of a customer. Writing from Franco Manca while waiting for a tastier and cheaper pizza.

Me and my friend went for dinner today in Richmond but unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food specially after spending £85 for that kind of food very disappointed sorry for my review but did not enjoy the food at all

Really appalling customer service with manager Marcos saying it’s fantastic. Ordered 2 Fiorentina pizzas - asked for the egg to be not very runny/raw but not hard ie Waitress said that is “medium” - i said ie normal. The 2 came with solid yolks. I asked if they could do me an egg still runny but no - apparently it’s not really a kitchen. They had to take the pizza back and make a new one and I had to wait. The manager said: A) there are only 2 options for the egg not 3 as is implied in medium and I got the medium egg. I suggested the waitress perhaps should mention the limited option given that it was clearly an issue. No - Marcos said there is really only one option anyway. B) They could not do an egg on its own for a couple of minutes in the oven in one of their little pans. C) Because I am diabetic and have to take insulin, my glucose goes too low while I am waiting for another pizza to arrive. Not so says Marcos. I should have eaten the pizza and then just the egg later! Leaving aside that it forms part of the pizza you are supposed to eating, he forgets that they insist on taking the pizza away before doing another! D) Marcos was, of course, unable to give me any owner details for this particular franchise, the regional manager etc.

Siempre tuvimos un miembro del personal cuidando de nuestro grupo, no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para la comida y disfrutamos. We went there for a Christmas dinner party and it was great. Everyone was very friendly and the food was amazing. They were also very careful with people's dietary restrictions and allergies.

The food was less than average, nothing testy. What really disappointed me was the handling of a special occasion. We were celebrating a birthday and asked if they had anything for guests to mark the event. They brought out a cake, which we thought was a kind gesture—only to later find it added to our bill without prior mention. It felt misleading and left a sour note on what should have been a celebratory experience.

Came for a meal with my whole family, sat on a nice large table, plenty of space on a Sunday late afternoon. Friendly service, nice team. Only thing, we were a bit thirsty so would’ve liked drinks/water first, but thank you for all our swift meals! Food and plates hot and tasty of course, fresh and wide options on the menu and good value - don’t forget to make use of the app to secure deals, integral part of a PizEx visit. Cheers

This Pizza Express deserves 5 stars in every box! We were warmly welcomed by Marcos, who was the highlight of our evening- Iza our waitress was also supremely friendly. The food was amazing too and I would recommend the brownie for dessert!

Everything you would hope to expect

I visited pizza Express this Sunday to celebrate my daughter's 12th birthday. I requested a quiet corner as my mum needs aids to hear . Instead they placed us 2 tables away from an unbelievable noisy children's party. This ruined my daughter's celebration meal as we couldn't hear to talk. Staff had asked the table to turn the noise down, but were unsuccessful. During our main staff said we could move. A bit late half way through your pizza. At this point we had enough and decided to leave without finishing our mains, no desserts or cake that I had brought in especially for her. Dad paid the full bill! The bit I can't forgive pizza express for is that they had plenty of seats far away from the party. We will never return!

We asked the waiter if we could apply one coupon in addition to applying a large pizza upgrade. The waiter agreed this is applicable. When the bill arrived the discount had not been applied. The abrupt and rude manager then stormed over to explain the waiter made a mistake and the offer bundle is not applicable. She spoke in an unapologetic and defensive manor and when I told her I will write a review about her she replied she did not care and this will not affect her position. I am a loyal pizza express customer and eat in many braches. Richmond branch really was a let down in terms of customer service only from the female manager. Disappointed.

Always a delight. We ordered the large sloppy guisepe to share along with two starters: garlic bread and bruschetta (this is our regular order and we’re never disappointed).

We had a lovely family meal here served by the polite and friendly Nat. She was a perfect host to our meal and got everything spot on - despite our dietary requirements and requests for extra items after ordering. Also plenty of other helpful staff on hand for any requests. Thank you.

Nice starters and pizza but really hard to get waiter attention, pass several times our table and no eye contact. Tried to order their signature drink Tequila but wasnt available, Waiter wouldnt say thanks while taking payment or anything.

My husband being Italian, we have our favourite pizza place somewhere else but since I work near Richmond, we tried Pizza Express one time. And absolutely loved it- pizza itself is not bad but the warm , obliging atmosphere, snug interiors and mellow lighting, and in particular the attentive service from the staff were enough to encourage a second time. We've only had a couple of pizzas - classic Margherita and Diavola on the two occasions - pizza bread itself is okay toppings tasty. Husband loved their Caffe Reale dessert and I am pretty satisfied with their wine selection. Starters all looked good, mozzarella sticks well-executed. Highlight of both visits was Iza, possibly one of the best servers I have met in my life,myself included as I was a server too at one time. She is very knowledgeable about the products they offer, good-natured, and makes you feel as if your table is the special table. Not a skill that can be taught. Highly recommend management to elevate people like her. Next time we'll take more photos (always too hungry to take some before realizing we should) and try more plates.

Very misleading offer sign at the entrance - so surprising they do this kind of scam. The sign says: "Any second classic pizza for 1 £" and doesn't specify that it is only for club members with QR code.

What a fabulous meal. Iza, our amazing waitress, made sure we had a brilliant time. She was very attentive and explained the menu. The new autumn food menu was delicious! I would also recommend the fruity cocktails.

The restaurant was almost empty, and yet I was sat near a noisy family. I asked to move. I’ve been to many Pizza Express restaurants over the years, and it’s generally very good. However, the pizza I had today in Richmond was absolutely awful. Raw dough in the middle and burnt on the outside edges. Revolting. I’m surprised the server even gave it to me. When I complained, I didn’t get much of an apology and was told it had been made by a trainee. Why let him cook for the public if he’s not yet proficient? I had a choice beforehand to go into there or the pizza place opposite - where I’ve previously had excellent pizza. I won’t make the same mistake next time.

Iza was an amazing waitress! She was friendly, polite and was very attentive! We had a tried the Autumn menu and I must say the meatball Italiano was perhaps the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of pizzas! The biscoff sundae was heaven and I cannot forget the pomegranate margaritas was stunning!

I have visited several Pizza Express franchises over the years, and the Richmond Pizza Express was the best so far. The staff were welcoming from the start and asked if we had any allergies, which was important because my friend has a gluten allergy. They took the allergies seriously, which was reassuring. The food was fresh, hot, and ready on time. I would recommend that everyone visit Richmond Pizza Express - it's definitely worth it!!

Whilst the food was good and value for money from TT heir apparently sadly our grandchild slipped and cut his head open on one of the tables. Whilst not responsible, sadly no interaction from the staff whatsoever. Once again we were ignored hoping we would just pay and leave, very dissapointing

They have an amazing vegan options. All was fresh and super taste. 100% recommended.

Perfect place for lunch or dinner, whether in a group, as a couple or with children, we have been super well cared for and treated. The children want to come back every day to eat the bread balls
